Je me présente, je suis en terminale ES et à la fin de l'année j'aimerais vraiment partir étudier une année aux USA (niveau highschool ou college). Ça m'est égale..
Cependant, je ne peux pas payer 10000euros mon année
Alors j'aimerais savoir si des personnes avaient des solutions pour moi ? Si vous connaissiez un organisme abordable qui pourrait me faire partir après avoir eu mon bac !

Je pense que tu as raison de poser la question, c'est tout à fait réalisable.
En effet, les études aux USA ont un coût et pour le réduire tu peux passer tes deux premières années dans un commuity college.

Tu feras tes deux premières années de bachelor dans le CC et ensuite tu pourras intégrer ta troisième année en université.
Renseigne toi car tu as la possibilité d'avoir des bourses.

Pour moins de 10.000 euros et pour un an, mieux vaut viser la high school.
Il y a déjà plein de discussions sur le sujet (sujets sous celui-ci et fonction recherche du forum devraient te renseigner) :)

Mais tu peut aussi faire tes études en Françe travailler pour une entreprises Française qui pourra t'expatrier ....
C'est vraiment super compliqué à organiser tout ça !
Soit faut réellement partir et ça coûte très cher même dans un community college ou soit faut être patient ahah !
Pour ma part, je pense que je vais vivre chez des amis une année et être scolarisée en highschool, c'est la solution la moins coûteuse que j'ai trouvé ..!

Cette solution n'est possible que si la high school est habilitée auprès de homeland security pour délivrer elle-même des I20 (pour un visa F1). Donc à vérifier d'urgence.
Comment puis-je vérifier cela ?
Mais, de toutes les façons ce lycée est habitué à recevoir des exchange student donc ce serait bon non si je ne me trompe pas ?

Exchange = J1 = passent par un organisme (programme d'échange en un an)
Dans ton cas, si tu ne passes pas par un programme d'échange, c'est un autre certificat.
Tu dois vérifier si l'une des écoles près de ta famille délivre des I-20

Tu voudrais aller dans quel état ?
Comme les Etats-Unis ne font pas partie de l'espace Schengen, les privilèges donnés aux jeunes Européens ne s'appliquent pas. Donc, si tu veux rester aux Etats-Unis après ton année de high school (vérifie bien qu'une école près de ta famille est habilitée, sinon c'est rapé) tu dois y faire des études, de préférence en sciences de l'ingénieur, informatique, maths, soins infirmiers. Une fois ton diplôme obtenu tu feras un OPT, stage rémunéré, et si tu fais l'affaire ton employeur pourra t'aider à obtenir un H1B. C'est quand même assez rare. Mais admettons que cela marche: tu fais 5 ans sous H1B et tu peux postuler à la résidence permanente. Une nouvelle loi pour faciliter l'immigration, la légalisation des sans papiers, et l'accès à la résidence permanente est en train d'être passée, ce sera plus souple, notamment pour les scientifiques (d'où la recommandation de faire si, maths, info...)
Le Canada est beaucoup plus souple.
Oui c'est quand même compliqué . Je suis partagé entre plusieurs projets professionnel en faîte ... ( Professeurs de Français , commerce international ... )
J'ai pas trop de préférence entre les états si je part mais c'est vrai que NY , Chicago , Atlanta , Boston ou Washington ça me plairais bien d'y m'installer là-bas lol
prof de français aux Etats-Unis ce n'est pas trop un métier avec beaucoup d'offres, sauf si tu es bilingue français/espagnol et que tu as un diplôme en éducation spécialisée (pour les enfants dyslexiques, qui ont des problèmes de comportement, etc). Il y a aussi diplôme dans ce que tu veux + espagnol + français/créole + diplôme en éducation bilingue. Français/maths aussi ça passe. En gros, prof de français dans une alliance française, c'est un petit boulot, pas une carrière, et pour être embauché dans un district scolaire il faut y avoir fait ses preuves en student teaching et avoir une spécialité recherchée (cad éducation spécialisée, bilingue, ou maths). Et bien sûr les districts qui seront intéressés seront soit au fin fond de la campagne soit dans les ghettos. Il y a plein de profs au chomage déjà qualifiés et certifiés, donc...
Seule exception, si tu as actuellement 16 de moyenne générale et des prix de concours général ou au squash ou aux olympiades internationales de maths (etc), tu peux viser une université privée genre Amherst, Wellesley, Wesleyan, Williams, Middlebury, et enseigner en pensionnat privé où les parents millionnaires envoient leurs enfants. Ces pensionnats sont toujours à la campagne.
(je sais: ces écoles ne sont pas connues en France, alors qu'aux US les gens qui s'y connaissent* savent que ça veut dire "élite".)

For some time now, I’ve been seriously considering moving to the United States. My long-term goal is to practice medicine in the U.S., with a particular interest in forensic pathology. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
