Mon ami est francais, il a 62 ans. il vit et travaille en France et se prépare à la retraite dans les prochains mois.
J'ai 53 ans et je travaille encore comme éducatrice à Montreal.
La difficulté pour nous est de trouver le meilleur endroit pour s'y installer.
Par exemple si je viens en France, y a t il une équivalence pour mon diplome et pourrais-je facilement trouver du travail?
Mes années de travail seront t elles reconnues?
Si mon ami me rejoint à montreal , que doit-il faire pour ne pas perdre ses avantages de retraite et d'assurance maladie?
Peut-il sous-louer sa maison?
paie t on plus d'impots au canada ou en france?
Bonjour, cela me semble difficile de trouver un emploi équivalent d'éducatrice en France, les diplomes sont différents et en plus l'administration a plutot tendance a supprimer des postes en cette période de crise, et c'est mal payé.
Il me semble plus facile d'organiser le contraire, a 62 ans il peut faire valoir ses droits a la retraite et peut très bien aller vivre a Montréal, par contre coté sécurité sociale , n'étant pas en CEE il va perdre sa protection.Il peut sous louer sa maison si son contrat de location le lui permet (beaucoup de propriétaires ne l'autorisent pas).
Coté impots, au total cela doit etre moins cher au Canada.
Reste le plus gros problème, va t'il supporter les hivers Canadiens? si c'est un montagnard c'est possible.
A mon avis, le Canada est un meilleur choix !!
Votre ami peut percevoir sa retraite à l'étranger, par contre, il perdra l'assurance maladie, et la sous-location n'est pas possible en France.

Pour ce qui est des hivers canadiens comme tu dis. Saches une chose : que le froid est un bon moyen de conservation.
Je suis retraité depuis 11 ans je viens du Médoc passé tous les hivers à Québec, et crois moi le docteur je ne le fréquente plus depuis bien longtemps.
Les 6 mois en France ne vont bien en plein milieu des vignes, donc alcool et froid deux bons moyens de conservation.
Soyons sérieux, à Montréal ce n'est pas si terrible que ca. Problème, la couverture sociale, la il y a un problème, la médecine est beaucoup moins facile d'accès au Québec qu'en France, mais de bonne qualité. Il ne peut y avoir rapprochement familial, citoyenneté, résident permanent etc.. sont des sujets à régler avec le Canada.
Soyez heureux même éloigné.

Bonjour, la solution 6 mois au Canada et 6 mois en France est bien sur la bonne solution, mon frère a vécu a Montreal pendant 14 ans sans pouvoir alterner et il a craqué a cause de la longueur des hivers.Du coup il est revenu en quittant pourtant une belle situation avec une belle maison a Mont Royal.

ma situation n'est pas à plaindre au canada, mais ce qui m'attire en france c'est le côté social, le médical surtout.
Comme je suis une personne de santé fragile et ce n'est pas la jeunesse qui s'en vient...entre les deux mon coeur balance.
Par exemple, je dois actuellement passer une résonance magnétique(IRM), je me suis inscrite dans un hopital. résultat pas de rdv avant 6 mois et le delai d'attente peut atteindre une année. Tout cela me désarme même si j'ai pris le pli de vivre au canada.
Par ailleurs, mon conjoint est plus libre à sa retraite sauf qu'il doit liquider tous ses meubles.
Y a t il un moyen de conserver son assurance maladie la-bas et vivre au canada?
Ou dois-je prendre un rdv pour trouver toutes les réponses à mes questions?

Bonjour, coté trouver un emploi a 53 ans je n'y crois pas, a cet age la moitié des francais partent en semi retraite car il n'y a pas assez d'emplois. Pour votre ami en tant que francais il conserve son assurance sociale , a condition de revenir se faire soigner en France, il a une carte vitale donc pas de problème.

Et pourtant... le Québec est la région la plus imposée d'Amérique du Nord. Côté impôts donc, c'est kif kif avec la France.
Pour le reste, et pour répondre aux questions de l'intéressée :
- Étant Canadienne, vous ne pouvez pas vivre à l'année en France, que je sache, sauf si vous êtes mariés peut-être ou autres conditions particulières.
- Pour votre ami français, il ne peut pas vivre au Canada à l'année non plus, sauf si vous l'avez parrainé.
- Côté emploi, les diplômes canadiens ne sont pas, à ma connaissance, reconnus en France (c'est la même chose ici dans l'autre sens...) et le marché de l'emploi en France est plus que tendu... alors vu votre âge (rien de péjoratif), ça me paraît très compliqué.
- Côté santé, l'accès aux soins est incomparablement plus facile en France, et la médecine pratiquée y est une des meilleures au monde.
- Ne pas négliger le climat non plus. Quand on voit comment les Québécois détestent l'hiver, imaginez un Français de plus de 60 ans...
- Côté retraites, je ne connais pas bien le sujet mais je sais que les années travaillées en France comptent pour percevoir sa retraite au Québec, après... ?
Mais la première chose à faire est de vous mettre en légalité vis-à-vis de la résidence au Canada pour lui ou en France pour vous.
il faut qu'il aille au canada sa maison pas de probleme pour le louer , retraite il se fait virer tjrs s mm compte en france donc continue a beneficier ss comme si il etait en france il paiera de tte facon ses impots sur sa retraite en france ( de m que s'il etait parti officilt s'installer la bas donc je ne vois pas ou est le probleme par CONTRE tu as interet a l'EPOUSER (marier) si tu veux beneficier de la moitie de sa retraite + tard
Une vieille discussion et je ne sais pas où l'histoire en est rendue. Cependant, une chose m'est venue à l'esprit en lisant votre texte. Madame a 53 ans et est attirée par le système de santé en France. Je la comprends, je suis québécoise et je trouve que notre système de santé est une vraie honte. Mais votre mari est encore plus âgé que vous; il risque fort, comme 2 millions de Québécois, de ne pas trouver de médecin de famille. Que fera-t-il lorsqu'il sera malade ? Attendre 20 heures aux urgences ? Pensez-y bien.
Une solution serait, selon moi, de passer quelques mois dans un pays et quelques mois dans l'autre et si un pépin de santé survient, de retourner en France vous faire soigner. Ce sera nettement plus rapide.

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area.
