Hi everyone, we’re sharing our day-by-day travel journal from Quebec in December. 10 days in Montreal and Quebec City during the holiday season and deep winter.

Hi,
I love this travel journal with those gorgeous photos (I have no idea how you managed to take pictures of Quebec without anyone in them—at that time of year, Petit Champlain must’ve been *packed* with people!!)
I just have a small *caveat* about the site you referenced for the eTA. The official government site is this one: Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) - Canada.ca
Anyway, your journal shows you can totally *stick to* Montreal and Quebec City for a winter trip if you don’t want to *see* more of the country!

Thanks for your relevant feedback, Lescaribous. 😁🏼
Regarding the photos, I’m patient to avoid crowds in my shots. If a few people do show up, I sometimes remove them using the photo app on my iPhone.
Thanks for pointing out the broken link to the AVE government site—I’ve fixed it.
10–12 days fly by! We didn’t want to rush through too many places. We focused on Montreal and Quebec City—there’s so much to discover. Plus, with the weather, you can’t be too ambitious. 😅

Hey,
For the "rest" of Quebec (outside Montreal and Quebec City), you’ll have to come back—maybe in the fall! 😛
But whether you make it to Quebec or not, I hope you have amazing travels in 2026 😉
