Je suis totalement nouvelle 😊 sur ce site et je m’y suis inscrite car il semble regorger de personnes sympathiques et de conseils judicieux.
Voilà ce sur quoi je suscite vos opinions. Nous voulons aller à Cuba en janvier prochain et ce séjour serait un cadeau pour les parents de mon mari qui fêteront tous les 2 leurs 60 ans cet hiver. Nous serions donc 4 adultes plus nos 2 petites puces (2 et 4 ans).
Nous avons séjourné au Blau Colonial en janvier 2004 avec notre bébé de 11 mois et ce fut magnifique; très tranquille, bon service, propreté indiscutable et bouffe raisonnable (c’est Cuba après tout😛). Nous étions logés dans la partie près de la piscine à l’eau de mer et nous en avions fait notre petit oasis de tranquilité. Quelle déception 🙁 de savoir que cette partie est fermée pour cause de rénovations, nous y avions un attachement sentimental! Le Blau demeure toutefois sur notre liste pour cet hiver (grâce à vos commentaires encourageants) mais nous regardons aussi du côté du Sol Cayo Santa Maria (bien que pas mal loin de l’aéroport si on considère faire ce trajet avec de jeunes enfants après un confinement de 5h dans l’avion 🤪), le NH Krystal et le Playa Pesquero (un peu plus dispendieux $$$).
La présence de nombreux chats m’inquiète un peu au Sol Cayo Santa Maria puisque mon beau-père et son fils (mon mari) n’aiment guère ces animaux. Moi je crois que nos filles adoreraient ça par contre! Pour le Krystal, j’ai entendu dire que son achat par des intérêts européens pourrait apporter un vent de fraîcheur à cet établissement qui ne fournissait pas beaucoup de dépaysement pour les québécois car tout étaient à saveur fleur de Lys 😛du temps du El Senador. La plage semble aussi être un peu plus loin qu’au Blau (toujours en considérant les besoins/limitations des enfants). Il y avait aussi récemment des commentaires sur la malpropreté des lieux.
Je ne sais plus où donner de la tête. J’aimerais tellement que les rénovations du Blau soient terminées, j’y retournerais sans hésitations.
Que me recommandez-vous? Blau, Krystal, Cayo Santa Maria ou Playa Pesquero?
Nous voulons principalement de la tranquillité, de la bouffe acceptable, de la propreté mais surtout un environnement pour décrocher du quotidien.
Le Blau Varadero est le 2 choix des voyageurs sur le site trip advisor (je ne sais pas quel hotel est le choix #1) pour le Cuba. Il est ouvert depuis déc. 2005 et il est très bien coté.
Nous également aimons voyager avec nos enfants. D'après toutes les informations que je possède, je crois qu'à Cayo Santa Maria, la mer creuse assez rapidement, j'imagine que c'est important pour vos petites pour la sécurité!.
Au Playa Pesquero, ça creuse quand-même assez rapidement aussi mais par contre, la mer est moins agitée qu'à Cayo Santa Maria.
Pour ce qui est du Krystal, ça creuse que très lentement. La plage est large, surtout du côté Emperador. Je crois que ça serait très bien pour vous et c'est pas si loin que ça pour se rendre à la plage. Je pense que ça se fait très bien surtout si vous demandez un bloc près de la plage.
Je sais également qu'à plusieurs endroits à Varadero, la mer est assez calme et ne creuse pas rapidement.
Je peux vous dire que la bouffe au Playa Pesquero et au NH Krystal est très très bien.
Donc, il faut que je réserve pour cette fin de semaine pour une semaine tout inclus. C'est soit au NH Krystal (ex El Senador) ou au Blau Colonial... Je ne sais…

At all-inclusive resorts, base salaries are extremely low for 10- to 12-hour workdays. Tips aren’t just a little extra—they often make up half of these families’ income.
Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.
The package covers the hotel, but our tips help support the people who make our vacations magical. Don’t forget to budget for this in cash when you pack!

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). I’m not necessarily aiming for the cheapest resort, but since it’s spring break week and everything’s already pricier, 5-star options are probably out of the question. Thanks!

We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.

A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
