Hi everyone, Little cruise heading north... First stop: Copenhagen. There’s a good chance the boat will dock at OCEAN QUAY, which is over 5 km away from the Little Mermaid! I’m struggling to figure out how to get there by taxi, bus, or shuttle. Thanks for your tips! I can still walk, but 5 km through the port area... Have a great rest of the day!

Hello Are you sure you’re docking at Ocean Quay? Usually, that quay is for ships loading or unloading lots of passengers. You can check where your ship will be on the Port of Copenhagen website: cmport.com Best regards

Hello What do you mean by "a lot of passengers," considering the ship is the Renaissance from Croisières de France, which is 220 m long and carries 1,100 passengers—so possibly at Ocean Quay? But I imagine taxis are available on the quay? Best regards

Hi, Micax replied to my request about our layover in Copenhagen with CFC on 03/04/25.

The ship will be docked at Langelinie, which is near the "Little Mermaid". His response is dated 04/02/25 on this site. You can check out his info: great cruise Mum49

Thanks, I found it and read it, kind of by chance... Have a great rest of your day!

Hi Alain,

After re-reading—calmly—CFC’s description, it says that the excursions leave the ship ON FOOT, right from the dock next to the Little Mermaid.

Anyway, we’ve decided to manage on our own, all on foot, and it shouldn’t be a problem. That’s how we travel most of the time.

Best,

And re-reading - calmly - the CFC description, it says that the excursions leave the ship ON FOOT, and thus from the quay next to the Little Mermaid

Hello, I imagine it depends on the cruise date. The Copenhagen Port Authority website shows the Renaissance docked at berth C197 on April 3rd (so at Langelinie), but at berths C331 and C332 on April 20th and July 22nd, which are at Oceankaj—quite far from the Little Mermaid. Best regards

Hi Alain, Great blog—really helpful! Just a small correction on the Copenhagen map: the direction marked as South-North is actually East-West. Best regards,

Thanks for the correction, Micax. Best, Alain
