Pour travailler aux US, il faut un visa de travail et permis de séjour obtenu AVANT d'y arriver ; et je serais très surpris que tu puisses l'obtenir avant janvier prochain !
Le meilleur endroit pour toute info reste le Consulat US par téléphone ! Lache un peu ton écran !

Effectivement, il te faut obtenir un visa de travail avant de partir, tu ne pourra pas prendre un billet d'avion uniquement ALLER, un retour est obligatoire.
Du boulot là bas il y en a, mais sans visa, tu ne pourra pas travailler.
Tu ne peux pas non plus y rester plus de 3 mois .
Le gros problème c'est que les employeurs ne veulent pas fournir un visa car les démarches peuvent durer des mois et c'est assez onéreux ...dans les 3000€...
Tu peux tenter ta chance à la loterie americaine pour gagner le sésame : une carte verte.

Comme tout le monde vient de te dire, tu ne peux pas vivre de façon indéterminée aux États-Unis sans la carte verte (qui donne le statut de résident permanent).

Moi je suis dans la meme situation que toi sauf que j'ai trouvé un employeur, je pars donc à Miami debut 09 en visa J-1 satagiaire donc je te confirme que sans Visa tu pourras pas travailler. Le billet d'avion aller Simple je l'ai trouver a 289 euros TTC aller simple, cherche pas tu trouveras pas moins cher a part si tu connais du monde chez air france lol. Pour aller aux Usa, moi je suis passé par un organisme, le CIEE qui s occupe des demarches administrative pour moi, il te faut une assurance obligatoire et pour l ambassade il te faut 4 documents, un de ton employeur ds 7002 et trois rempli par toi meme DS 156, 157, 158 apres tu auras rendez vous a l ambassade ensuite deux jours apres tu as ton Visa si c est validé. Mais on m'a dis qu'il fallait avoir un niveau d etude superieur (mini bac +4 et savoir bien parler anglais) pour que ca passe bien.

Permis de conduire, tout depend du pays d obtention, avec le permis francais il n ya rien a faire tu donne 20 dollars a la DMV, et tu as le permis americain, sinon je sais que le Test est vraiment Bidon, il y a un genre de code que tu passe c est trop simple a ce qui parait !

moi je suis passe par le CIEE, c est l organisme qui gere les stagiares http://www.parenthese-paris.com, o total assurance compris j ai du paye 1200 euros, le Visa ouai trop simple a avoir etant donne que j ai un Bac plus 5 que je parle courament 4 langues, j ai eu une interview a Paris qui a durer meme pas 5 minutes voila deux jours apres tu recois ton Visa.
