apres 4 ans en chine je prepare actuellement une nouvelle expatriation en thailande
j ai le job , la proposition et actuellement je cherche a saoir a quoi ca peut bien correspondre en terme de taxes et impots divers , alors bien sur j ai recherche sur les 39000000 post du forum mais je ne trouve rien d exploitable ( pas ma faute c est un effet pervers de la surabondance des infos , il faudrais vraiment des sous moteurs de sus recherche pour s en sortir )
onc desole si la question a ete abordee 30000 fois ..
donc l expose du probleme :
on me propose 4500 usd par mois , sur ce j ai deux hypoteses
on me ponctionne 18% a la base puis 30% de ce qui reste a la fin de l annee
il resterais peanuts pour logement assurance sante et je me retrouve avec moins de zero dans ma poche
une fois la vampirisation passee
l autre hypotese c est ce que m assure mon futur employeur :
t a 4500 bucks par mois sur quoi tu paye 18% sur l annee civie ce qui fera pas grand chose si t arrive en millieu d annee et la c est plus que jouable
donc les expatries en thailande s il vous plait :

les impots en chine ( en gros on te fille une lettre de remerciement tous les ans pour avoir contribue a la grandeur de la chine et on te met le chiffre qu on t a pompe mais comme c deja fait ca fait moins mal )
18% ok, moi c'est plutôt 10% mais c'est progressif avec les revenus donc c'est probablement cela. En revanche tes 30% correspondent à quoi? Je ne suis pas spécialiste fiscal, juste spécialiste de payer ce que l'on me demande mais la je ne vois pas.
4 500 - 18% = 3 700 USD = 110 000 Thb environ, ce n'est pas le nirvana mais franchement c'est très confortable et beaucoup plus que la moyenne ici. 😉

En ce qui concerne l'impôt sur le revenu vous allez déclarer à la louche 1 700 000 bahts.
Là dessus vous aurez un premier abattement de 60 000 bahts puis si vous êtes célibataire 30 000 bahts de plus (le double si vous êtes marié)
Grosso modo votre impot sera donc calculé sur 1 600 000 bahts
S'applique ensuite des taux marginaux
0% sur les premiers 150 000
10% sur la tranche de 150 à 500 soit 35 000 bahts
20% sur celle de 500 à 1 million soit 100 000 bahts
Et enfin 30 % sur celle de 1 million à 1 600 000 soit 180 000 bahts
Au total donc 315 000 bahts soit à peu prés 20% de vos revenus. Je pense que c'est ce à quoi vous faites allusion avec vos 18%. Mais je ne vois pas pourquoi on vous ponctionnerait 30% à la fin de l'année...Cela dit, investir dans les services d'un comptable au courant de toutes les lois thaïlandaises est une bonne idée...
A la surprise générale en effet, dans ce pays "paradisiaque", il faut aussi payer des impôts... Et il n'y a pas de quotient familial comme en France🤪

Ce document est en effet celui de référence. Au paragraphe 3.1, il vous explique bien comment fonctionne le calcul de l'impot. les pourcentages sont calculés sur les tranches de la deuxième colonne. Ce ne sont pas les revenus nets supérieurs à 1 million qui sont taxés à 30% mais la tranche supérieure à 1 million...

c est super clair maintenant j avais pas trop saisi le "progressif" on a donc bien les 20% a la louche et pas de double effet kiss cool suppose a tors :)

c est sur ca part vite ou que tu soit , en chine ca partais tres vite , on sortais pas mal , dans des endroits branches , on bougeais beaucoup , 3 fois par an minimum des vacances de reve au soleil , on se payais des nouveaux ordis , telephones trucs inutiles pour s occuper ...
ici ca part encore plus vite mais juste pour survivre a manger de la merde , jamais mettre le nez dehors

"Vivre à la Thaï", c'est un concepte que je ne cerne pas totalement.
J'ai disons une vie simple mais pour cela pas besoin d'être Thaï. Je ne mange pas épicée, ne parle pas Thaï couramment, j'ai télé, frigo, internet.... chez moi, certes pas de cuisine aménagée a l'Européene ni lave vaisselle, si "Vivre à la Thaï" signifie ne pas avoir de lave vaisselle, ok je vis à la Thaï ! 😛
Maintenant avec 100 000 Thb - mois il est vrai qu'il est peu probable qu'il achète une Rolex qui ne soit pas une copie !
Là où tu as 100 % raison, c'est qu'il n'exprime pas ses besoins, j'en connais qui avec 250 000 Thb par mois se plaignent de ne pas arriver à joindre les deux bouts. 🤪

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
