Je serais pensionné au début de l’année prochaine, ma femme est sur l’invalidité, nous pensons vivre nos vieux jours sur l’ile de madère, j’aimerai savoir qu’elle sont les formalités à accomplir à partir de la Belgique, pour l’instant nous ne somme pas décidé sur l’achat ou la location d’une maison ni de l’endroit précis, mais ce que l’on sait c’est qu’on recherche le calme, en dehors des lieux touristique, si il y avait quelqu’un pour nous aider et nous conseiller ce serai le bien venus et surtout avoir une idée du coup de la vie ( loyer d’une maison et les prix des marchandises au quotidien par exemple ), si il y a beaucoup de francophone ( belge ou français )sur l’ile

Ma première interrogation est de savoir si vous connaissez Madère afin de ne pas répéter des infos que vous avez déjà.
C'est une île qui a su garder son authenticité et son côté "rural" mais elle est Européenne et donc soutenue par de nombreux projets de développement financés par l'Europe depuis un bon moment.
L'île est passée en dix ans de pratiquement rien à tout ! on la traverse aujourd'hui en moins de 3 heures grâce aux voies rapides, chaque villages disposent d'infrastructures modernes au niveau administratif et médical (ex: centro de saude, farmacia) et c'est un véritable pas en avant pour les locaux qui avaient (ont toujours car ce n'est que le début) de quoi s'inquiéter au nouveau du système de santé...
Sa principale économie étant le tourisme, tous est fait de manière à satisfaire les Européens : il y a des supermarchés, des centres commerciaux etc partout (un peu moins cher qu'en France) ; et tous les services que l'on peut trouver en Belgique ou ailleurs.
La seule chose vraiment "pesante" est la bureaucratie !...ils sont vraiment vraiment pénibles avec leurs 45346536 papiers, signatures, autorisation, argent, etc c'est un vrai casse tête (je voulais faire l'équivalence de mes diplômes...et bien que nous sommes en Europe...j'ai fini par renoncer !)
Sinon bcp de Madériens parlent anglais et français mais le mieux c'est d'apprendre le portuguais ! et il y a bcp et peut etre de plus en plus (à vérifier) d'européens décidant de vivre sur l'île (je connais déjà des suédois, des norvégiens, des anglais, français etc installés pour leur retraite! qui apprennent la langue)

Bonjour, hélas nous ne connaissons pas encor madère mais voila des renseignements qui vont nous tranquillisé sur beaucoup de points, la seule chose qui reste en suspend c’est de savoir quel sont les frais régulier autre que le loyer auquel nous devons nous attendre (gaz, électricité, eau, raccordement internet et c….).
J’ai pus voir quelque photos et je pense que nous opterions de nous installer dans le sud est il y a une très jolie plage et très beau port, quand pensez vous ?

Pour les loyers...c'est assez cher en comparaison aux salaires et à la vie quotidienne (je ne sais pas comment ils font...mais les portugais sont débrouillards !!)
Ils s'élèvent environ au même prix que la France; en fait, de ce que je sais : un 45m² ça fait minimum 500€...
si c'est dans le Centre de Funchal faut compter plus !! (Les portugais qui reviennent dans leur pays, ou pour les vacances sont friands d'immeubles ultramoderne: bcp sont en construction sur la côte sud ouest de la capitale, moi je n'aime pas du tout !! ça fait côte d'azur! mais bon...)
je ne sais pas combien coûte l'électricité et le gaz (j'ai un bon plan appart ! je ne paie pas les charges!!)
mais je vais me renseigner
sinon pour vous, c'est toujours mieux d'etre proche du Centre ville, pour les commodités, les déplacements faciles etc
le port est tres joli, la veille ville aussi (mais attention aux contructions ! bien se renseigner avant de se retrouver face à un futur chantier " Votre centre commercial" ! ils adorent le shopping! ça pousse comme des champignons !!)
Internet : Je crois qu'il y a environ 3 opérateurs et 3 ou 4 formules possibles : pour une utilisation rare à tres fréquente avec téléchargement importants etc mais c'est abordable
Moi je paie 25 euros tous les trois mois et ça marche tres bien !
Madère s'est préoccupée de ses pb de connexions assez tôt, elle dispose d'un réseau de cables sousmarins (qqch comme ça) moderne et reconnu
Pour les plages...je crois qu'il y a erreur...disons que Madère n'est pas une destination "farniente" tourisme del sol!" elle n'a pas de plages de sable fin ! mais des galets !
on peut cependant trouver qqch belles petites plages de sable noir ! mais il faut prendre la voiture ! (Seixal : magnifique plage de sable noir, face aux montagnes; Ponta delgada, Porto da cruz...)
Ça craint des questions comme ça, offrez vous une quinzaine de jours à Madère avant de poser des questions comme celles ci, enfin vous prenez les portugais pour des arriérés???
Quand vous allez voir les super marchés à Funchal, vous allez vite comprendre que vous n'êtes pas les seuls à vous développés. Au début j'avais envie de répondre: "non non, il faut la machette et le coupe coupe pour se déplacer, on mange que des bananes et des figues à Madères, pas d'eau courante non plus, il faut pédaler pour avoir un peu d'éléc. 😠😠

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
