je recherche actuellement un moyen de partir aux USA cet été sans que cela ne soit trop couteux, aussi je souhaiterais que vous me fassiez par de vos expériences,
job saisonnier aux USA?( quel organisme? durée? une bonne chose? summer camp?) logement? etc...

Je confirme : ça te coûtera moins cher d'y aller en touriste que de trouver un boulot, car les formalités pour travailler coûtent plus cher que ce que tu vas gagner.
... Ou pensez vous que je puisse me renseignez pour ces formalités?
Je partirais seule, et ce serait mon premier voyage aux USA... c'est un peu la galère pour organiser ce voyage et je ne sais pas vraiment ou chercher!

Je suis partie l'été 2008 aux USA avec un job en poche. Je suis passée par un organisme (aquarius abroad). Tu dois remplir tout un dossier d'inscription, puis tu as un entretien téléphonique pour tester ton anglais et si ton dossier est accepté il te trouve un job. Tu as ensuite une réunion sur Paris, où l'on va t'expliquer toutes les formalitées notament pour le Visa. Puis tu pars aux USA, direction New-York. Tu y restes trois jours, aquarius réserve l'hôtel, et une fois là-bas tu es pris en charge pour faire les derniers papiers et en même temps bien profiter de NYC. Après ces trois jours tu dois rejoindre ton employeur.
L'année dernière j'ai payé 850 euros pour cet organisme, il y a des aspects positifs et négatifs:
=> positifs car tu es bien guidés pour les formalités, et même à NYC nous étions dans un hôtel en plein Manhattan (où normalement une nuit coute $200)
=> négatif car perso je devais partir le 23 Juin, et j'ai du appeler presque tous les jours au moins de Juin car toujours pas de placement. Résultat j'ai du prendre mon rdv à l'ambassade des USA sans même savoir si je pourrais vraiment partir le 23 Juin, et j'ai du achter mon billet d'avion pour aller jusqu'à mon job d'été deux jours avant de partir donc payé plus cher. De plus lors de ton inscription ils te demandent tes préférences, j'avais demandé à être dans une ville et sur la côte, alors bien sûr je demandais pas à me retrouver du genre à Los Angeles ou quelque chose comme sa ... mais là je me suis retrouvée dans une toute petite ville au milieu des montagnes. Autant te dire que j'ai été plutôt déçue :s
Au final, voici à peu près le cout total de mon voyage (en sachant que je n'ai travaillé qu'un mois j'ai du rentrer en france plus tôt) 850 euros payé à aquarius 700 euros en billet d'avion 150 euros pour l'obtention du visa (en comptant le trajet en train jusqu'à Paris) 400 euros changé en dollar pour un peu d'argent de poche avant la première paye (compter le metro/taxi à NYC, si tu veux visiter la ville et tout...)
Donc en gros j'arrive à 2100 euros pour pouvoir partir aux USA !!!
Ensuite je n'ai donc travaillé qu'un mois où j'ai gagné 1100 euros (je n'ai rien touché de ma paye aux USA, j'ai directement posé les chèques en france). Je gagnais tous les jours de pourboirs (au minimum 30$) du coup sa me permettait de vivre, de sortir ^^
Et je payais mon loyer 50$ toutes les deux semaines et directement déduit de mon salaire.
Donc voilà au final en déduisant les 1100 euros, ce job d'été me revient à 1000 euros, si j'étais restée plus longtemps je serais revenue gagnante !
J'ai deux autres amis qui ont tenté la même expérience que moi l'été dernier. Ils bossaient tous les deux dans l'ohio dans un resto et étaient serveurs. Ils avaient une paye de merde mais ce faisaient énormément de pourboires du coup ils ont largement amortis leur investissment et ont même pris après deux mois de travail 2 semaines de vacances à travers les USA !
Voilà pour les infos en général par rapport à moi ce que je connais, si t'a d'autres questions n'hésite pas ^^
Certaines personnes voient la réalité et disent «pourquoi ?», moi je rêve à l'impossible et je dis «pourquoi pas ?

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.
I believe it’s time to bring this space to life to meet pressing needs and serve the common good of society.
The project is simple:
1) Grow maize + build a processing plant to produce flour

5) Construct free housing for retired expatriates in exchange for their voluntary contributions in their respective fields.

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
Are there any special requirements before leaving France (aside from taxes...)?

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area. Anyway, that’s not the main point—could anyone explain the pros and cons of doing this job in Switzerland? Based on the paperwork I’ve received, the equivalence seems purely administrative or almost... What about working conditions, quality of life, salaries, etc.?
