Je vais bientot etre diplomé infirmiere et souhaiterais avoir quelque infos avant de me lancer dans ce projet d'aller travailler en guyane comme infirmiere autour du 20 mai.
Tout d'abord je souhaiterais savoir s'il est facile ou non de trouver un poste d'infirmier ou s'il vaut mieux chercher avant de partir? je souhaiterais savoir également le coup de la vie (loyer, facilité de trouver une colocation?...) et le salaire infirmier? est ce vraiment plus cher que de vivre en france avec le salaire que l'on y a?
Quant à la question du climat, je suis aller au sénégal en plein mois de juillet aout, c'est à dire pendant la période de pluie, et ça m'a pas plus perturbé que cela...est ce vraiment pire en guyane??
Qu'en est-il sur la question de l'insécurité?je me promenais parfois toute seule à dakar et cela meme le soir sans trop avoir de soucis...en faisant attention tout de meme, mais je me sentais pas tellement en insécurité!
Excusez moi pour ses comparaison avec le sénégal, mais c'est ma vrai seule expérience de voyage sur du moyen terme!

Une autre chose m'inquiète, et pas des moindre...c'est que j'ai une frousse pas possible des araignées...j'ai entendu parler des matoutous...que j'ai regardé telle une image subliminale et n'ai pu m'empecher de pousser un cris de stupeur...je voulais savoir s'il y en avait vraiment tant que ça???

Je vis en Guyane également et juste quelques précisions. Une voiture à 3-4000 euros minimum?? Ca fait un peu beaucoup non? Perso j'ai acheté la mienne 1700 euros et même s'il est vrai que c'est nettement plus cher qu'en france tu en trouveras quand même autour de 2000 euros assez souvent. Surtout qu'à la période ou tu arrives il y a pas mal de gens qui repartent et du coup il y a plus d'offres. Pour te faire une idéé va sur www.blada.com, c'est LE site de référence ici et il y a une rubrique petites annonces. Tu pourras d'ailleurs peut-être y trouver des annonces pour un job.
Concernant les matoutous, j'en ai déja eu plusieurs chez moi mais il faut savoir qu'elles sont inoffensives ! Contrairement à d'autres espèces en forêt. Moi aussi j'étais très flippée des araignées et puis en fait on se fait à tout 😄. Et c'est clair que tu n'en verra pas tous les jours !!!

Nous sommes en Guyane installé à Remire-Montjoly depuis Juin 2009. Tout se passe bien pour nous. Niveau travail, ma compagne aide soignante a trouver relativement facilement du travail. Les infirmières sont encore plus rechercher surtout que c' est en cette période que l' hôpital de Cayenne et la clinique Véronique agrandissent et recrutent en grande pompe.
Je ne suis pas personnellement dans le domaine hospitalier mais je sais que ça recherche beaucoup. De ce côté là, ce que tu peux faire c' est prendre contact soit avec l' hopital, soit avec la clinique via leurs site respectifs. Je pense qu' il est même possible de négocier ton aller en avion. Des collègues à ma compagne l' ont fait. Seule contrainte tu devras rester dans la clinique ou l' hopital au moins 6mois....
L' insécurité est la même que dans toutes les grandes villes de France. Rien de bien particulier. Mais il y a effectivement plus de cambriolages. Nous, nous avons opter pour un chien ici pour rassurer madame.
Le climat y est agréable, mais ça peut te faire bizarre à ton arrivée selon la saison où tu prévois d' arriver.
Pour finir en ce qui concerne la voiture, je suis moi même mécanicien et j' avoue qu' ici les prix s' envolent et l' entretien moyen. Cependant tu peux faire une affaire en achetant à quelqu' un presser de partir, qui n' a pas réussi à se débarrasser de sa voiture. Il faut consulter les annonces sur www.blada.com et suivre avec attention la mention "vend cause départ".
Sache également qu' évidement les prix sont négociables (et les salaires aussi...)

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
