Je voudrais recevoir quelques conseils de la part de personnes ayant une expérience de DUBAI.
En effet, j'envisage fin janvier début février de partir pour Dubai avec l'intention d'y vivre et d'y travailler. Ayant une formation en BTS et en étant spécialisé au fil de mon expérience dans le monde de l'export, je voudrais savoir si ce genre de profil est compatible avec ce pays sachant que je parle 4 langues dont l'arabe et l'anglais, langues nécessaires au pays.
Ayant peu d'information notamment sur le fait de trouver un emploi et se loger, je sollicite l'aide d'internautes pouvant me guider. Je n'hésiterai pas non plus à travailler dans n'importe quoi tant que c'est pour vivre au Moyen Orient afin de me rapprocher du Masjid Haram pour les connaisseurs...
Dans un premier temps je vais m'y rendre pour une durée d'un mois je pense afin de voir si on peut s'acclimater à cela.

Je suis actuellemt dans la meme situation, j'habite le Canada et suis a la recherche active d un travail a Dubai, j'ai deja commence a postuler a differents postes; ayant une experience dans le domaine des Finances, j'espere avoir une chance d'integrer une bonne compagnie.
Par contre, plusieurs questions me preoccupent:
Est ce que les salaires sont toujours proposes en fonctions de la nationalite du candidat?
Devait-on negocier le Logement et la Scolarite des enfants (pour ceux qui ont des enfants)?
Quand on dit le Loyer est cher? Il est cher par rapport a lEurope a l'Amerique du Nord?
Je peux déjà répondre à quelques questions à savoir que dans un premier temps tout est négociable là bas notamment du fait du Package c'est à dire qu'il est tout à fait normal de négocier et que les salariés demandent en plus d'un salaire , un logement, la couverture sociale etc tout est à demander au moment de l'entretien. Beaucoup se joue au feeling là bas. C'est très anglo saxon comme monde, donc ils sont plus attaché sur la personnalité que sur les diplômes si je puis dire, néanmoins il n'y a pas de sujets tabous.
Le loyer est chère oui mais tout dépend d'ou, plus tu te rapproches du Burj Khalifa et plus en effet c'est chère et plus tu t'éloignes et c'est le contraire logique. L'émirat de Sharjah est moins chère. Pourquoi ? Tout simplement car il est le plus rigoriste des émirats et comme tu le sais les gens préfèrent fuir l'islam... Mais là bas la vie est meilleure et pour les enfants c'est le meilleur. N'oublions pas que c'est un micro état et donc tout est accessible les transports etc

Aussi , une chose importante, est ce que la Nationalite du candidat change la fourchette salariale , ou est ce vrai qu'apres 2008 tout a change !!! ( D'apres ce qu un conseiller en recrutement en UAE m'a informe) , je pose la question car je suis residente Permanente au Canada mais en attente de mon passeport Canadien ( 6 a 12 mois max) !

Je pense que ton conseiller comme nombreux de conseillers à fait son job à moitié. Il existe une catégorie de métiers, plus souvent les peu qualifiés ou que les locaux ne veulent pas faire qui sont réservés à une population asiatique... Pour le reste des jobs, tout est a négocier et je dirai même à renégocier. Il n'existe pas de salaire minimum, ce qui veut dire également qu'il n'y a pas de salaire maximum. Le mieux est de se renseigner sur sa branche mais venir dans ce pays dans l'idée de ramasser du fric est une très mauvaise idée. En faisant les comptes entre le salaire et les charges, mieux vaut justement dégager une marge pour laquelle tu peux épargner. J'oubliais une chose mais souvent dans les contrats là bas il est question que l'employeur offre un billet aller/retour une fois par an ce qui est tout à fait courant comme demande. Le conseil que je peux donner c'est justement que la tendance est beaucoup plus inversé au Moyen Orient qu'en Occident. Pourquoi ? Car ils sont en manque de personnel et donc ils sont prêts à tout si la personne leur convient. A contrario en France c'est l'employeur qui a l'embarras du choix sur les candidats, résultat tu es souvent le plus frustré par rapport aux autres car tu possèdes les meilleures compétences mais on te prendra pas car tu as un prénom à connotation arabe et une barbe bien dominante. C'est pour cela que le moyen orient au niveau du salaire sont sans limites.
Il faut cependant noter que lorsqu'on a un job là bas il est très courant de voir que les employeurs prennent en "otage" le passeport du travailleur et donc le travailleur est tenu de tenir ses engagements car justement comme je le disais il est dur pour eux d'avoir quelqu'un de fiable. Quelque part c'est une forme de garantie pour eux.
Pour les enfants ya vraiment aucun souci sur l'enseignement, il y a vraiment de tout. Des écoles Coraniques comme des écoles mixtes mais bien sur à l'anglo Saxone. La valeur de l'enseignement de Dubai est supérieur à la moyenne mondiale du fait du brassage des ethnies et du niveau proposé. En d'autres termes les enfants seront obligatoire bilingue minimum anglais/arabe car l'anglais au moyen orient reste la langue des affaires. Le français est une langue très prisé là bas et c'est toute la différence avec les autres nationalités car énormément d'entreprises recherchent des French Natives Speaker.
Je reviens sur le logement, sache que négocier le logement cela veut dire que l'employeur le prends à sa charge et c'est courant de voir ça là bas aussi.
Pour résumer :
logement pris en charge, couverture sociale prise en charge, 1 billet aller/retour offert par an, 4 semaine de Congés payés voir 5, pas de salaire minimum mais pas de maximum non plus ce sont les avantages les plus connus là bas. Il faut savoir aussi qu'on peut trouver des avantages telle que des chauffeurs personnels pour les femmes qui le désirent mais ça reste plus rare mais pas impossible.
Si tu veux mettre tes enfants dans une école francophone il y a des listes d'attente assez importante de plus la scolarité est payante,
je pense qu'il faut prendre les choses dans l'ordre, attend d'avoir ton passeport Canadien, ensuite il faut trouver un travail ce qui n'est pas
aussi facile qu'il y paraît.
Si tu as un profil recherché tu pourras négocier mais sinon tu devras te contenter d'un job sous payé donc tu auras du mal à te loger etc...
En fait tout dépend du travail que tu trouveras.

Je ne connais pas Dubaï de toute façon. Tu sais, si un pur inconnu te demandais dans la rue: "hé veux tu m'aider à trouver du boulot?" bien tu trouverais ça bizarre, non? Un forum n'est pas différent. Il y a l'Internet, des répertoires d'entreprises, des sites d'emplois, Linkedin, etc. les ressources sont là c'est à toi de les utiliser!
