Ayant fait mon visa en France pour 59 jours à 27 € et voulant reste un plus nous avons donc pris un vol pour 70 jours .Très grosse erreur car l extension de visa au delà des 59 J coûte très très cher on a payé au BI 14850pph pour deux, soit 300€ juste pour 11jours supplémentaire .On vous fait payer pour 30 J et en plus on vous fait un carte d'identité Philippines qui ne vous sert strictement a rien et que généralement vous ne récupérer jamais car il faut au moins 3 semaines et il faut aller la chercher au bureau ou vous avez fait la demande ce qui pour un touriste et pratiquement impossible car il ne reste jamais au même endroit.
Donc restez seulement 59 J ou alors beaucoup plus car l extension se payé par 30 J et la CI est valable 12 mois.

Mais c'est une Info maintes fois répétées. C'est pas nouveau.
D'où l'utilité de ne pas hésiter à poser le maximum de questions avant de partir.

peut être que ça dépend du B.I ou vous avez été car en juillet j'ai été sans visa donc au bout d'1 mois extension 1 mois (j'arrondis)3000 php valable 1 mois,29jrs après extension 2 mois, en "gros"4000 php avec prise d'empreintes et 2 mois après extension que de 1 mois 3000 php environs donc total 5 mois, ce qui serait beaucoup plus cher pour un pinoy de venir en France et aussi si cela ne lui est pas refusé.Ce sont les conditions pour que l'on profite chez eux, rien ne nous oblige d'y aller!l'ACR card peut tjrs servir pour louer une mob, plutôt que de laisser le passeport et même aussi testée pour 1 paiement par CB!

C'est la vrai foire d’empoigne ces histoires de visa.
Il y a la loi, puis ensuite, chacun fait ce qu'il veut, au petit bonheur la chance, dans les bureaux des offices de l'immigration.
Ci joint en Photo, ce que j'ai payé le 15 Octobre , pour une extension de visa de 59 jours, et une carte ACR. Total = 6970 pesos;
Par contre, photo 3, on peut voir qu'ils la font démarrer de :11 mars -2015. Très grosse erreur, puisque je suis rentré au pays le 16 aout 2015. (preuve, photo 4). Elle devrait compter à partir du 15 octobre. Mais quand je réclame, on me répond : il faut aller à Manille pour réclamer. Autant dire : Si tu n'est pas content, va te faire .. er!
Et sur cette même photo 4, vous pouvez aussi voir comment ils savent compter !
Arrivée le 16 Aout 201, (tampon rouge) je vais faire une nouvelle extension, le 11 décembre 2015; Soit 4 mois après mon arrivée, ce qui portera mon séjour à 6 mois (moins quelques jours)
Hors ils me mette un tampon indiquant qu'il faut que je présente le Certificat Secure Emigration Clearance à ma prochaine sortie.
C'est faut, puisque ce certificat n'est exigible que SI TU RESTE PLUS DE 6 MOIS SUR le territoire.
Heureusement un , un peu plus intelligent que les autres, a admis l'erreur, et me l'a barré.
Je pars le 11 Février, soit moins de 6 mois après mon arrivée. Je vais bien voir ce qui va m'arriver !!!

Justement ne sachant pas le tarif exact de l'extension je me suis fait avoir, lors de ma première tentative à Manille ton option ma paru la plus evidente mais il été de, ja trop tard pas de vo AR à moins de 140€ donc cela ne valait plus le coup.
C'est pour cela que je signale bien le problème s'ur ce forum , réservez un vol bien à l'avance pour une sortie et faite un Visa double entrée qui vous redonne 59 jours au retour
Mon mari et moi partons pour un voyage de 6 mois en Asie du Sud-Est.
Nous envisageons de rester entre 3 et 4 mois aux Philippines et de faire le nécessaire pour obtenir le visa de 59 jours ici à Bruxelles.
Par la suite, nous comptons demander une extension sur place.
Jusque là, tout me semble "assez clair".

Avez-vous un billet A/R pour les Phils? Si non, je vous conseillerais d'acheter un billet Manille-Kota Kinabalu sur

Billet que vous n'utiliserez pas, mais que vous presenterez a votre aeroport de depart, on vous le demanderas certainement.Avant la fin des 59 jours il vous faudra faire une prolongation + une ACR card qui vous couteras 4600 pesos.Autant prendre une prolongation de 2 mois qui coute 3030 pesos.Donc :4600+3030=7630. Une prolongation de 1 mois vous couteras a peine moins cher.
Et 4 mois n'est pas trop pour visiter les Phils. 😉

Nous aurons en fait un billet A/R avec retour prévu le 30/6/17 depuis Bangkok (soit 6 mois après notre arrivée au Philippines).
J'ai cru comprendre que quand on arrive avec le visa de 59 jours obtenu dans son pays d'origine, on ne doit pas avoir de billet de sortie du pays... j'avoue que je n'y comprends plus rien 🤪 🤪

avec 1 visa fait à BKK pour les Phils, dans ma demande j'ai du fournir 1 billet de sortie(Lemonk le confirme)je n'ai fait qu'une seule impression de ce billet et qu'ils ont gardé.A l’aéroport malgré le visa obtenu, ils me le demandent à nouveau!!je suis passé(tout juste!)et après vérifications !! donc prévoir justificatif en double.
Si tu rentres dans le pays en tant que touriste, il faut en sortir !!! C'est simple.
Pour cela tu dois présenter une preuve de sortie du territoire, quelque soit le visa touriste que tu fais (30 jours à l'arrivée, ou 59 avant de partir)
Mais sachant que tu peux faire prolonger ton visa sur place, jusqu'à 36 mois, une preuve de sortie du territoire au bout de 6 mois est accepté (( Le Consulat de Lille à répondu à ce sujet il y a quelque temps. ))
Le 30/06, lors de ton "retour", quand tu partiras de de Bangkok, il faudra bien qu'avant , tu aies quitté les Philippines !

Si tu comptes prendre l'avion, c'est ce billet qui te serviras de preuve.
Sauf que je te conseille de prévoir de sortir "AVANT" ou "AU PLUS TARD 177 jours" après ton arrivée ( car 3 visa de 9 jours = 177 jours).
Si tu restes 6 mois ( 181 jours) tu seras obligé de payer un supplément de visa pour les 4 jours supplémentaire (181 -177 = 4) et de faire faire un ECC (Emigration Clearance Certificat)

Dans le cadre d'un voyage de 6 mois en Asie du Sud-Est, je viens de me rendre à l'ambassade des Philippines à Bruxelles pour une demande de VISA de 59 jours entrée simple.
Nous séjournerons 49 jours aux Philippines, soit du 2 janvier au 20 février.
J'ai apporté un dossier bien complet avec:
-copie de passeport
-copie de carte d'identité
-preuve de moyens financiers
-preuve de réservation d'hôtel à l'arrivée
-copie des billets d'avion (arrivée Manille le 2 janvier et départ Bangkok le 29 juin)
La personne en charge nous a demandé d'apporter les documents supplémentaires suivants:
-une preuve que nous quittons le territoire le 20 février (pour ça aucun souci, nous avons notre vol réservé pour Singapour)
-une preuve de réservation d'hôtels pour TOUS les jours où nous serons sur place.
Evidemment, étant en voyage longue durée, nous ne comptons pas réserver tous nos hôtels à l'avance...
-un extrait de casier judiciaire (avez-vous déjà du remettre ce type de document??)
Tout ceci m'inquiète, pourrions-nous nous voir refuser le visa?
La preuve de sortie du territoire, quand on arrive avec un Aller simple, est maintenant systématiquement demandée au consulat, à l'embarquement à Paris et à l'arrivée à Davao .
La réservation d’hôtel pour TOUS les jours, est bizarre. Je n'ai jamais entendu cela.
Si les réservations ne sont pas payantes, tu peux contourner cela en faisant une réservation sur un seul hôtel ou deux , pour la durée de ton séjour !
Par contre, pour le casier judiciaire, c'est la première fois que j'entends cela.
Ma dernière demande de visa 59 jours date de 3 semaines. Elle a été faite au Consulat de Lille.

J'ai réservé un billet Etihad sur leur site Dusseldorf-Abu Dhabi. Dans la case prénom j'ai mis tous mes prénoms (chose que je ne fais jamais et je regrette mais le site portait à confusion); tout est correctement orthographié mais le problème est que je viens de recevoir mon nouveau passeport est seuls apparaissent mes 2 premiers prénoms et la première lettre du 3ème, aucune trace du dernier.
J'ai téléphoné à Etihad qui a bien évidemment essayé de me faire payé 100 USD pour enlever ce dernier prénom, mais j'hésite car d'habitude je ne mets que mon 1er prénom et pas les autres et je n'ai jamais eu de problème... Alors je me demande si l'ajout de ce dernier prénom qui n'apparaît pas sur le passeport pourrait me voir refusé au check in..

I’m planning a trip from France to Alberta/British Columbia, and I’m unsure about which bank card to use for the security deposit with the rental company (I’m thinking of going with AVIS).
I contacted Avis Canada, and they told me a credit card is absolutely required. I asked my bank for a credit card (a *real* credit card), but they only offered me a deferred debit card.
My question: For a rental with Avis Canada, is a Gold International Mastercard deferred debit card usable for the security deposit needed to finalize the rental? Is the "CREDIT" label enough? (Some cards say "CREDIT" and others say "CARTE DE CREDIT"—seems minor, but it’s actually a big deal in how the card works.)
I’ve seen conflicting info everywhere I look... My bank says it’s *usually* okay (the deferred debit card), while Avis Canada insists it *must* be a credit card, not debit—even when I mention the deferred debit card.
I know the whole credit card concept is already confusing, and on top of that, some sites say a deferred debit card counts as a credit card, while others say it doesn’t.

I’ll explain my situation.
Unfortunately, I lost my passport, and I only realized it two weeks before my departure for a humanitarian mission in Libya. I’m a nurse, and this mission really means a lot to me.
First, I applied for an emergency passport, but it was denied by the Val-d'Oise prefecture on the grounds that a planned humanitarian mission wasn’t considered an urgent reason.
So, I submitted a biometric passport application on July 20th. Since then, the tracking has been stuck, and the town hall can’t (or won’t) give me any clear information. Every time I call, I get a different story. The last update I received was that the passport had been produced since July 23rd with a status of "about to be shipped," but nothing since then.
I’ve managed to push my departure back to next Tuesday at the latest, but I’m starting to really panic.
Have any of you submitted an application around July 20th, especially in Val-d'Oise (95)? How long did you wait between the passport being produced and it being available at the town hall? Is it normal for this step to take this long?
This mission means so much to me. I had everything organized, and I’m also supposed to attend a friend’s wedding right after near the border.

The information I’ve found about whether an international permit is required is contradictory. Some sources say you need one, others say you don’t.
Could anyone let me know if an international driver’s permit is necessary to rent a car in Australia (Perth), or if a French license is enough for a 7-day rental?
I’m a bit embarrassed because I need to travel to Quebec from February 27th to March 13th. I’m a regular visitor to Canada—this will be my 10th trip since 1997, plus a year as a permanent resident (2000–2001) and a cross-country run from Vancouver to Halifax in 2011. So, I’m definitely not a terrorist!
But since our last trip in July 2015, they’ve introduced this eTA thing. Seems more like a way to make money than to actually secure Canada, if you ask me, but anyway, that’s not the point.
I applied for an eTA for myself, my wife, and our two kids. They all got approved within hours, but not me! I was asked to create a GC key and then an IRCC account, which I did. Normally, you get news within 72 hours, but since Monday, January 15th, nothing!
In the "message" section of the account, it says "explanation letter (required)" with a deadline of January 25th, but I can’t find any explanation anywhere—despite searching the Canadian government website and Google. No links, nothing!
I’ve emailed them but haven’t heard back yet. I’m thinking of calling the Canadian embassy in Paris tomorrow. Even though I’m not stressing yet, it’d be a bummer if everyone else got to go without me!
If anyone’s had this issue before or knows what this explanation letter is about, I’d love to hear more.

I’m heading to Seoul in September, and to do that I need to get a travel authorization that we apply for through K-ETA....... turns out I can (barely, I admit) fill out the form up to the address of our "stay location," but every address I’ve entered has been rejected by the system. I’ve tried my hotel, the Lotte Hotel (which is well-known in Seoul), the airport—basically, I’ve entered at least 20 addresses, all rejected....
So, to anyone who’s successfully gotten the authorization, could you tell me which address you used to get that "elusive" approval?...

I bought a one-way flight (Ryanair) and a return flight (EasyJet) to spend a week in Morocco in April.
My passport expires 3 weeks after the return date.
Some websites say the passport must be valid for 3 months at the time of entry.
However, it will still be valid both on entry and return, but its validity will only be 1 month at the time of entry (and 3 weeks on the return date, everything prepaid).
It's an individual family trip.
The consulate can't give me an answer—they're still looking into it (really!)
Last year, we stayed for 3 months in Thailand, north of Khao Lak, and were able to benefit from the 2-month visa exemption, renewable for one month by going to Takua Pa to validate a 1-month extension (1,900 baht).
This year, it’s a disaster for us—not only were we planning a 4-month stay, adding a visa run in between (which some say is quite risky), but the law is apparently changing in the coming months with the return of the 1-month exemption (plus the usual 1-month option). So, we looked into applying for a 6-month multiple-entry visa, allowing a maximum of 60 consecutive days in Thailand. However, I can’t find anywhere the minimum time required outside Thailand between two stays—do any of you have an idea?

As a French national, I need to obtain a short-stay visa that can be converted to a long-stay one. To do this, I have to send the required documents to the Madagascar embassy in Paris.
No issues with that procedure so far.
If I get this visa, once I arrive in Madagascar, I’ll need to provide the same documents to the Ministry of the Interior in Anosy. I’m trying to find an email address or website for the Ministry to check which documents I need to submit (I think they ask for additional ones).

I’d like to know if anyone has already applied for a private visa to Russia with an invitation from a Russian resident.
I traveled earlier this year with an e-visa, but since I want to stay longer, I’ll be visiting my friend who lives in eastern Russia.
For the visa application, does the invitation need to be on an official paper form issued by the Russian ministry? And most importantly, do I need to present the original for the application, or is there an electronic version that can be sent directly to the consulate in France?

I filled out the B2 form to apply for a visa, created an account on Atvis to pay the visa fees and schedule a meet-up, but every time I try to pay with my Boursobank Visa 1st card, they refuse the payment with a message telling me to check my details (address), even though everything is correct. Does anyone know why this is happening, or maybe they don’t accept Visa cards? Are you aware of this?

On her ticket, it only has her maiden name (e.g., Martine DUPOND).
On her passport, it’s written as Martine DUPOND épouse AVRY.
No issues for travel, I hope I did the right thing with the ticket?
Then for the ESTA, is just Martine DUPOND enough, or do I need to include the "épouse AVRY" part like on the passport?

I saw on the French Embassy in Peru’s website and the Peruvian Consulate in Paris’s site that the rule is to have a passport valid for 6 months *after the arrival date* (not the return date).
I arrive in Peru on August 13, 2019 (for about twelve days), and my passport is valid until February 16, 2020.
That’s 6 months and 3 days after my arrival date in Peru. In my opinion, I’m good to go.
But could I still be denied entry if they say I don’t cover the return date or that I’m too close to the 6-month mark?
