Je pars jeudi pour Sherbrooke à partir de l'ile de la reunion.
Juste pour infos, j'ai 20 ans et je pars à sherbrooke pour continuer mes études dans le cadre des échanges universitaires ( CREPUQ)
J'ai plusieurs question qui trotte dans ma tete:
1) Pouvez vous me décrire un peu la vie à Sherbrooke, cout de la vie, sortie sympas, les incontournables... ect
2) Je n'ai aucun vetements chaud ( sortant de La réunion ça va pas etre le meme climat), pensez vous que je devrais acheter mes vetements ( style manteau, jeans, pull...) a sherbrooke ou à montréal. Pouvez vous me quelques bon plans car j'ai pas un budget énorme.
3)Quel est le meilleur moyen et le moins cher pour se déplacer à travers le Quebec, Toronto.
1)a Sherbrooke, les étudiants ont acces gratuitement aux autobus
2)sherbrooke est une grande ville avec des centres commerciaux, tu peux acheter tes vetements la-bas.Si tu cherches des vetements d'occasion, tu peux aller au Village des Valeurs.
3)Le moyen le moins cher pour voyager est Allo-Stop.
J'ai étudié 2 ans à Sherbrooke : je peux te dire que tu vas vivre dans une ville géniale et tu fréquenteras une très bonne université. Voici quelques réponses à tes questions :
1) Pouvez vous me décrire un peu la vie à Sherbrooke, cout de la vie, sortie sympas, les incontournables... ect Le coût de la vie à Sherbrooke est moins cher qu'à Montréal pour ce qui est du logement. Si tu aimes le plein air, tu verras qu'il y a beaucoup de possibilité de randonnée, cyclisme et même baignade à Sherbrooke ou dans les environs. Il y a plusieurs restaurants offrant une cuisine exotique (magrhébine, asiatique, belge, etc.) et de bonnes tables plus typiquement québécoises. Je te suggère entre autres Le Cartier, un endroit charmant. Le Caffucino offrent des desserts qui font grossir juste à les regarder et, dans le Centre-Ville, l'Antiquarius est un café très sympa. Les bars sont situés au Centre-Ville, sur la rue Wellington. Celui où j'allais souvent s'appelle le Café du Palais, mais il est surtout connu sous le nom des "Marches". On y entend principalement de la musique alternative, ainsi que québécoise et française. Je te recommande chaudement les matchs d'improvisation qui y sont présentés les dimanche soirs. Tu ne comprendras pas grand chose au début j'imagine, mais c'est une bonne immersion dans la langue québécoise et le calibre des joueurs est très fort. Je te suggère fortement de visiter quelques villages près de Sherbrooke : North Hatley, Knowlton ou Frelishburg. Ils sont absolument charmants.

Pouvez vous me quelques bon plans car j'ai pas un budget énorme. Tu trouveras tout ce qu'il te faut au Carrefour de l'Estrie, à Sherbrooke. Mais si tu as l'occasion de magasiner à Montréal, tu peux aller sur la Plaza St-Hubert (rue St-Hubert entre Bellechasse et Jean-Talon). Descend au métro Beaubien ou Jean-Talon. Les prix peuvent être un peu moins élevés.
Essaie au moins d'avoir un pull pour ton arrivée, les soirées commencent à être fraîches.
3)Quel est le meilleur moyen et le moins cher pour se déplacer à travers le Quebec, Toronto. Allo-Stop au Québec. Pour Toronto, il existe d'autres systèmes de covoiturage. Tu verras peut-être des publicités sur les babillards à l'Université.

3) Connais tu quelques endroit sympas, pas trop cher, pour dormir a Montréal ( style auberge... ect)?
4) As tu eu l'occasion de voyager un peu vers les états unis, si oui quels moyens de locomotion as tu utilisé?
On m'a parlé vaguement de la compagnie de car GREYHOUND, qui sillonait un peu tous les état unis.

L'ambiance à l'université est super. Le campus n'est pas très grand et il est très agréable et sécuritaire. Les gens sont chaleureux et les services aux étudiants sont bien organisés. Il y a beaucoup d'étudiants étrangers et ils ont même leur propre association.
Pour la chambre, je pense que tu peux trouver mieux ailleurs. Ça te fera tout de même un endroit où habiter en attendant. Près de l'université, entre les rue Galt et le campus, il y a des maisons unifamiliales qui louent des chambres meublées, souvent au sous-sol, parfois même avec une entrée privée. Ça peut être un bon plan pour un étudiant étranger, car j'imagine que tu ne veux pas te lancer dans l'achat de meubles! Tu pourras trouver les infos sur le logement dans le bâtiment des services aux étudiants (face à la bibliothèque des Sciences Humaines). Sinon, les résidences peuvent être agréables pour faire des rencontres et/ou la fête.

Informe-toi auprès de ta banque pour les frais, car c'est fort possible qu'il y en ait. Peut-être peuvent-ils même t'aider pour l'ouverture d'un compte bancaire au Québec.

Ayant habité à Sherbrooke plusieurs années, j'ai réussi à trouver une chambres avec coloc en une journée.
Donc tu peux sûrement en faire autant.
Cependant, dans les choix,
L'université est dans l'ouest.
Donc si tu vas dans le nord, tu dois prendre le bus, Le nord est plus riche
L'Est est plus pauvre, donc loyer moins cher!
Sud je sais pas.
L'ouest c'est très étudiant.
Voilà.
Centre-ville, si tu aimes dormir, vaut mieux aller ailleurs, car les bars sont ouvert tous les soirs!
