je pars avec ma soeur en république dominicaine au viva dominicus palace du 29 mai au 12 juin. j'ai hate d'y être😉. si des personnes partent en même temps que moi, vous pouvez me faire un signe, on partagera notre impatience ensemble😉. si vous avez des questions au sujet de l'hôtel, je me ferai un plaisir d'y répondre. je le connais assez bien car j'ai travaillé dans cet hôtel en tant qu'animatrice. ce que je peux vous dire c'est que le VIVA DOMINICUS c'est "THE HOTEL" que l'on parte en famille, en couple ou entre amis, il y en a pour tout le monde. bref, c'est un hôtel GENIAL!!!. vanessa.

Je reviens avec ma famille du dominicus palace, je ne suis pas sur que ce soit le meilleur hotel "the best". Nous avions demandé des chambres communicantes par rapport aux enfants, ainsi qu'à l'étage, là-bas il nous on donné une chambre non communicante, et au rez-de-chausser, super !!! et pas question de changer, malgré que l'on ait demandé depuis longtemps. En supplément, il y a une odeur de friture dans le parc et autour du restaurant plaza... De plus le personnel n'était pas très souriant, ni très sociable, nous avons été très déçu. Mais nous avons quand même appris avec le directeur marketing du club que si nous aurions signé de suite pour une carte VIP de 5, 10, 15 ans (à 8150 Dollard), nous aurions plus davantage dans l'hotel quand venant avec notre tour operator. Vive le dominicus Palace ! De plus, nous étions 5, tous malades, beaucoups d'autres personnes aussi, nous ne buvions que de l'eau en bouteille. Enfin bref, jamais plus cet hotel.

Je pense que vous n'avez pas eu de chance simplement. Je suis d'accord avec Vanessa c'est "The Hôtel". L'odeur de friture n'est pas permanente, pas de bol🤪 alors... Pour les chambres c'est vrai que c'est un peu gênant. Nous n'avions pas demandé de chambres communicantes et nous en avons eu, il y a tellement de monde dans ce complexe qu'ils "nous mettent" où il y a de la place. Pour le personnel là aussi je suis étonnée, les Dominicains sont contents de travailler, surtout là, donc ils cherchent à rester le plus longtemps possible. La encore vous n'avez sûrement pas eu de chance car quand j'y suis allée j'ai retrouvé les Dominicains comme toujours, souriant, chaleureux... Encore pas de bol décidemment pour avoir été malade... mais là je ne pense pas que c'est la faute de l'hôtel ni la votre d'ailleurs...
Enfin avec ce qui vous est arrivé je comprend que vos vacances n'étaient peut-être pas celles dont vous aviez rêvé...
Cependant personnellement quand j'y suis allée, j'ai passé un séjour merveilleux et je recommande vivement cet hôtel...

Pour ma part je suis d'accord avec clemencia ....Cet année c'étais notre 2 iem séjour au Palace et nous avons été tres satisfais...Nous avions fait des demande pour notre chambre et les avons eu..nous avons toujours été bien servis et avec le sourire....
Pour ce qui est de l'odeur de friture ces certain qu'avant les repas il doit y avoir des odeur de bouddfe car la cuisine est situé en bas du resto buffet....
Pour la maladie il y a les coup de chaleur (pas insolation) du au changement de température..mon mari a été malade 1 journée et avec du Cypro tout est entré dans l'ordre..ce son nos amis qui reste à bayahibe qui nous on informé de se malaise car plusieur québecois en on été pris.
Dommage pour vos vacance et pour ce qui est des Timeshares Ppfiou !qui peuvent en conter des histoires.....

At all-inclusive resorts, base salaries are extremely low for 10- to 12-hour workdays. Tips aren’t just a little extra—they often make up half of these families’ income.
Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.
The package covers the hotel, but our tips help support the people who make our vacations magical. Don’t forget to budget for this in cash when you pack!

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.
