Moi aussi je pensais à ces hôtels, mais je me demande s'il y a d'autres hôtels car on nous laisse entendre que cela pourrait un hôtel qui n'est pas dans leur liste. C'est pour cela que je posais cette question.
En passant est ce que quelqu'un connait le coût d'un taxi de l'aéroport au Club at Gran Paradise ? Ou son voisin. Ayant séjourné au Blau Natura Park l'hiver passé je sais que le taxi coutait 25.00us. Donc je m'attends a y payer se prix pour le Sunscape car il est son Voisin. Mais de l'autre hôtel je n'en connais pas le prix et nous arrivons a 23:40 alors il serait fort agréable de se gâter avec un taxi.

Je vous souhaite pas qu'ils vous envoie au Coral Costa Caribe qui est situé à Juan Dolio à 2h1/2 de Punta Cana. Cet hotel est dans les hotels offerts par Go Travel dans le section Punta Cana, va voir la description. On y mange très bien mais la plage est très petite et ce n'est pas à Punta cana. C'est pourquoi ça me ferait un peu peur de réserver ce forfait.
Je vous souhaite un beau 4* à PUNTA CANA.
Reviens nous à ton retour sur le forum pour nous dire ds quel hotel tu étais.

Je crois que dans la description du Wild Card, il est mentionné que l'hôtel est situé à environ 30-40 minutes de l'aéroport ... donc il faut qu'il soit situé dans la zone Bavaro.
Dans la description de GTD il est indiqué que l'hôtel est situé à 30 minutes de l'aéroport.
Alors on ne peux m'envoyer si loin et si jamais c'est là que je vais GTD se retrouvera au Petites Créances.
C'est clairement indiqué. J'accepterais être si loin qu'a une condition que se soit un hôtel 5* !

Le vol est vraiment sur Punta Cana.
Si vous regardez dans la section Santo Domingo le même hotel est aussi offert avec la même description mais avec un vol à Santo Domingo.
Je trouve que Go Travel n'est pas trop honête d'offrir le même hotel avec deux arrivées bien différentes.
Je sais de quoi je parle car j'ai passé une journée à cet hotel et je suis allée 2 fois à Juan Dolio dans 2 autres hotels et je vous dit que c'est mal loin de Punta Cana.
Moi je téléphonerais à GT et je leur demanderais de me confirmer par écrit avant le départ que j'aurai vraiment un hotel 4*à Punta Cana pour éviter une évantuelle surprise.
Je ne veux surtout pas vous décourager mais seulemnt vous prévenir.

Je crois que j'ai toutes les informations necessaire pour me garantir que je serai bien à Punta Cana.
De toute façon une collègue de travail quitte demain avec sa petite famille avec ce forfait. J'en saurai plus le 7 janvier a son retour au travail.
Mais comme je disais dans un autre message je m, attend à etre au Club paradise bavaro ou au Sunscape Punta Cana.
Espérant que je répond a plusieurs questions des gens sur le forum.

En attendant je sais que je passerai une semaine EXTRAORDINAIRE dans un hôtel 4*, les fesses dans le sable et aussi en jouant quelques parties de GOLF le temps que TOUT le Québec pourrait pelleter de la neige en quantité industrielle.
C'est parfait, j'attends de tes nouvelles à ton retour, tu me diras à quels hôtel finalement tu auars été, la plage, la bouffe etc.... en attendant bon voyage et oui nous on va pelleter.

Je sais que je vais envoyer un courriel ou deux durant mon séjour. Je viendrai vous écrire avec plaisirs le nom de notre hôtel. Je suis certaine que se sera le Club Paradise Bavaro. Une collège de travail a prit ce forfait pour le jour de l'an et elle fut logé au Grand Paradise bavaro ( plus près de la plage ) mais elle a payé 1399.00 p.p et ils étaient 4 dans la même chambre. Si jamais je suis ailleur j'en serai TRÈS surprise car voici ce que l'on m'a répondu sur Trip Advisor de plus j'ai payé le même prix( 799.99).
Alors à bientôt et je tente de vous laisser un peu de soleil car je suis très gourmande. 😉

Bonjour à tous, Et bien je reviens tout juste de punta cana (13-20 janv 2008) avec la formule wild card 4* de go travel direct. Nous avons été dirigé vers le Club Grand Paradise. Très bon service de la représentante. Très bel hôtel. Quelques nouveaux blocs en construction, mais ne nous dérange pas. Tout est en branle pour faire une beauté, pendant notre séjour beaucoup de plant de fleur ont été ajouté. Il y a la partie Lookéa section française (de France, seulement des français et des québécois) très agréable car même l'animation est en français. La chambre est grande et très propre. Jamais manqué d'eau chaude. Les restos à la cartes sont très bons. Le buffet est bon, jamais manqué de rien, sauf pas de fruits de mers. Du jours en jours cela allait en s'améliorant, les grands patrons étaient sur place. Oui on doit payer la taxe de départ de 20$ avec Go Travel Direct La mer est vraiment très très très belle, pas d'algues et de belles vagues. Si vous avez besoin de palapa, levez vous de bonne heure, en moyenne les gens les réservaient vers 6, 00h le matin. Aucun problèmes pour les chaises il y en a à profusion. Les piscines sont immenses et très belles Nous sommes très content de notre voyage et en plus avec le coût du voyage a 799/pers que dire de plus Nous recommandons cet hôtel

Nous avons eu du retard au retour de 15 hrs ce qui a fait que nous avons profiter du site plus longtemps. Nous avons logé au Grand Paradise Bavaro. Notre chambre 6326 donnait sur la mer (Vue partielle). Je revient sous peu, vous donner mes impressions. Mais jusqu'à maintenant il n'y a que du bon ou presque dans ce voyage.

Hey, I’d like to know which hotel in the south doesn’t force you to wake up at 4 AM just to reserve a shady chair, whether it’s at the beach or the pool.
I wanted to share a great discovery in the Marakele area because, in the end, this park doesn’t get talked about much compared to Kruger, even though it’s really worth the detour.
We discovered Cypiro Leopard Lodge, right next to Marakele National Park in the Waterberg. It’s a small property with just a few villas and suites, so it’s nothing like the big, crowded lodges. What we loved most was the feeling of being truly at the end of the world—lots of space, silence, and almost no one around.
And yet, it’s only about 3 hours from Johannesburg. Once you leave Joburg, the road is pretty straightforward, and you quickly find yourself in a much wilder Africa.
Marakele National Park was a huge surprise for us. There are plenty of animals, the Big Five are present, but best of all, very few people. At times, we drove for quite a while without seeing another car. It’s such a change from parks where you sometimes end up with 15 cars around one animal.
The landscapes are also stunning, with the Waterberg mountains, plains, and beautiful views from some of the trails.
We also learned on-site that Marakele is known for its very large Cape vulture colony—around 800 breeding pairs. When you climb into the mountains and see them soaring above, it’s pretty impressive.
The entire Waterberg region is actually a UNESCO-recognized biosphere reserve, and you quickly understand why once you’re there.
As for Cypiro, it’s a lodge that was recently taken over by French owners—really nice and approachable. The place is quite exclusive since there are very few accommodations. The villas and suites each have their own private pool, a wood-fired hot bath (like a KolKol), a braai, and an outdoor fireplace.
Evenings are especially lovely, especially with the peace and quiet all around.
Another thing we found really convenient: you can organize your stay however you like.
You can come self-catering and cook for yourself. There’s a supermarket in the nearby small town, practically on the way in, so you can do your shopping before arriving without making a big detour.
Or you can ask them to organize everything with breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Their chef, Ernest, cooks really well, and it lets you completely unwind for a few days.
We liked being able to alternate: some quiet meals on our own and others prepared for us.
That’s actually one of the things we appreciated here—it’s not an ultra-formal lodge where everything is scheduled at fixed times. You can head out early to Marakele, come back for lunch, enjoy the pool, go back out in the late afternoon, then have a braai or a relaxed dinner in the evening.
In terms of price, we also found the value for money really good for this level of accommodation and especially for the very private feel of the place. Sometimes it feels like you’re in a much more expensive lodge.
If you’re looking for lots of activity and dozens of people around you, this probably isn’t the right spot.
But for peace, wildlife, nature, wide-open spaces, and that feeling of being a little alone in the world, we absolutely loved it.

And if anyone knows Marakele or the Waterberg well, I’d love to hear about other spots to discover in the area.
While digging through the archives 🔍, we discovered a 19th-century journal 📜 bearing the name: "Le Petit Baigneur, weekly journal of beaches, spa towns, and thermal resorts in the South of France", published as early as 1886. Its motto? "All for the baths and by the baths" 🏖️ — what a program!
We found the name so amusing that we chose it to rename our hotel: Hôtel Le Petit Baigneur!
140 years later, we’re carrying on this seaside tradition of the South of France in our own way 🏊♂️ — with a few fewer crinolines, but just as much love for the seaside. 😊

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")

6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace

We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.
