mais vous savez dans la vie c'est tjs la meme chose. lorsque vous voulez qq chose de qq si vous posez des questions imprécises vous n'avez que des réponses imprecises. Le mot impression veut tout dire et rien dire et donc je ne sais tjs rien de ce que vous voulez. Vous parlez de vous installer donc je peux supposer que vous avez des attentes par exemple sur l'immobilier, sur les lieux d'emplacement mais je peux très bien me tromper peut être chechez vous simplement à vous faire des amis ...

Connaissant bien Agadir - mais PAS Taroudant , je desire justre avoir l'avis de gens installés la bas ... car peut etre "l'éloignement" (relatif) de la mer et des golfs est il compensé par d'autres attraits ? comme les prix ?

et se faire (d'autres) amis sur place ? pourquoi pas ?
Sur le "papier" j'avoue etre seduit par les charme et la beauté de Taroudant ..

Vous avez totalement raison de ne pas vouloir acheter immédiatement d'autant qu'il se pourrait bien que les prix se mettent enfin à baisser sérieusement à Taroudant alors que la baisse est déjà bien commencée sur Agadir. Pour le niveau des prix vous savez évidement qu'ils sont bien plus intéressants à condition d'être hors médina et plus encore en zone agricole. Cependant je vous déconseil fortement d'acquérir un bien en zone agricole. Depuis un an la majorité des ventes concerne les petits budgets, la clientèle moyenne gamme a fortement régressé en nombre et celle du haut de gamme est toujours là.
La ville n'est pas très touristique juste une clientèle de passage au plus pour une nuit ou deux. La beauté de la médina pour y vivre à l'année est relative. Une question importante est alors de savoir si l'on souhaite résider en ou hors médina. En médina vous avez : de la poussière, parfois du bruit (mosquée...) en général pas assez de place pour avoir une piscine, la vue pas toujours parfaite depuis les toit, mais l'énorme avantage de pouvoir tout faire (ou presque) à pied.
Pour faire rapide mais vous le savez surement déjà : les inconvénients de Taroudant sont les suivants : Chaleur vraiment excessive au moins 4 mois par an, pas de structure commerciale (grande surface) pas de réseau de santé acceptable pour un européen etc et à chaque fois 2 heures de voiture aller/retour pour Agadir, c'est vite casse pied surtout lorsque c'est pour aller jouer au golf par exemple. Les expatriés sur Taroudant forment une trop petite communauté ou tout se sait immédiatement sauf à filtrer complètement sa communication.
Personnelement j'ai été attiré au début par les prix mais avec le recul l'isolement de Taroudant peut vite devenir lassant et j'ai choisi les environs d'Agadir. vers quels "environs" d'Agadir etes vous installé ?
notre objectif ( compte tenu des prix .. en fonction de l'eloignement) est de se retrouver à 25 ou 30 km maxi ? on n'est plus à une demi heure pres pour aller jouer au golf .. rires ...
en tout état de cause , nous allons réserver une (super) maison tout pres ... disons entre marjanne et les golfs .. pour attendre la "bonne occase" ?
sans etre indiscret ? avez vous une activité la bas ? et si on prenait un pot lors de notre sejour en janvier ? ( nous serons basés dans une super résidence, jouxtant marjanne)

J'ai été un peut rapide car j'ai écris : J'ai choisi les environs d'Agadir et j'aurais du mettre j'ai choisi de prospecter à présent les environs d'Agadir. Je n'ai donc pas encore acheté. (mais j'ai vendu en France l'année dernière) En fait j'ai étudié plusieurs options Essaouira dans un premier temps, puis Taroudant (hors et en médina) puis à présent les environs d'Agadir.
Je crois que vivre au Maroc à l'année ou presque n'a rien à voir avec l'impression que donne le Maroc lors d'un passage en touriste. L'autenticité ne suffit pas.
Mon cahier des charges : 10 km maxi de la mer (pas pour la plage) pour la fraicheur relative en été et 15/20 km maxi d'Agadir pour la proximité (objectif : ne pas se limiter pour aller en ville). Le problème c'est que pour être tranquille avec les papiers il faut rester en zone urbaine la ou la qualité de l'environnement n'est pas tjs à la hauteur. Personnellement j'aime beaucoup Alma (Zone Agricole) à 20 km mais je regarde dans toutes les directions notamment sur la route d'Essaouira.
Les prix devraient baisser dans les années à venir mais plus sur les biens des européens que sur ceux des marocains. Il n'y a de toute façon aucune raison de se presser.
Ma personnalité me pousse à rechercher du pas cher car les prix me semblent incohérents et donc un petit terrain de 200/300 m² mini mais dans un bon environnment. Objectif construire une maison avec 3 ch de 120 m² environ pour 40.000 sans piscine ou 50.000 euros maxi avec piscine (hors foncier). Acheter un terrain plus grand à diviser à plusieurs serait d'ailleurs une bonne démarche.
Personnellement j'ai peur de ne pas trouver de maison à mon gout c'est pourquoi j'envisage de construire et je pense aussi que c'est la meilleure façon d'acheter pas cher.

quelques reflexions perso sur ton dernier post :
d'abord l'eloignement de la mer ? c'est plsu uen question "d'altitude" que de km ! avec les brumes d'été on est mieux à 300m d'altitude que les pieds dans l'eau .
Essaouira ?? Mogador est superbe .. mais "invivable" avec le vent permanent ! ( et c'est le golfeur qui parle .. rires)
Alma ? je connais et y ai visité de "superbes ruines" à retaper .. mais disons qu'il faut être habité d'une très grande force intérieure ...

Arnakech.. les écarts de température sont tres difficile a vivre ) pour faire simple , à Kech ( comme en Tunisie d'ailleurs) il faut du chauffage ET de la clim .. et rien de tout ceci à Agadir .
petit terrain ?? fais attention , les prix sont inversement proportionnels à la surface , et il est dur de trouver des terrains (acceptables...) à moins de 150 euros/m2 .. je parle EVIDEMMENT de terrains titrés avec autorisations et tout et tout .. ce qui est une autre histoire !
construire ?? ok ! mais c'"est un VRAI parcours du combattant ..avec tous les inconvénients liés aux "spécificités" marocaines !! tu parles de 40 000 euros pour 120 m2 ? soit 333 e/m2 ? je crains que tu soies en deçà de la VRAIE réalité .. avec le bon architecte (agréé!) , le bon ingénieur béton , le bon conducteur de travaux .. et surtout la PRESENCE continuelle impérative nécessaire ( donc location à coté).. même en "sachant" aller acheter les matériaux toi même ?? et en t'occupant de pas mal de chose .. le plus raisonnable est de tabler dur du 500/600 euros le m2 , en fonction des prestations désirées .. crois moi ! je suis en plein dedans ..
néanmoins , ne pas tout voir en gris .. il reste TRES intéressant , en étant avisé et prudent ! de faire construire .. car il est vrai qu'il est quasi impossible de trouver d'emblée ce qui te plait .. rires .. à l'européenne .. plain pied , jardin ( .. inconnu en général) , piscine , etc disons qu'une maison de taille "moyenne "... te reviendra quand meme deux fois moins chere qu'en France ..

(apporte ton vin ! .. rires , car pas du tout pour une question de religion , mais pour une question économique de paiement de licence d'alcool , ces petits restos ne sont pas comme dans Agadir ville et ne servent pas d'alcool ..le tout est de ne pas "choquer" éventuellement et de rester discret en laissant ta bouteille dans un seau à glace au sol !)
quant à ouvrir une maison d'hotes ?? je laisse ceci à ceux qui le désirent ..

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.

The project is simple:
1) Grow maize + build a processing plant to produce flour
2) Open a mini supermarket + a modern bakery using the flour for pastries, etc.
3) Build a healthcare service
4) Build a nursery and primary school
5) Construct free housing for retired expatriates in exchange for their voluntary contributions in their respective fields.
This is a project I truly believe in, and I invite anyone interested to add their personal touch—whether through advice, guidance, or involvement.
Note: This project has national and international potential in terms of employment.

So, I was wondering if it’s realistic to live on 500 or 600 € per month, and if so, under what conditions? Is that enough, considering I’ll be working 40 hours a week?

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Hi, I’m a self-employed physiotherapist in France, and as my wife (a nurse) and I look into working abroad in about two years, I’ve been offered an equivalence to become a respiratory physiotherapist in Switzerland. Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area. Anyway, that’s not the main point—could anyone explain the pros and cons of doing this job in Switzerland? Based on the paperwork I’ve received, the equivalence seems purely administrative or almost... What about working conditions, quality of life, salaries, etc.?

In the summer of 2026, my husband is being transferred to New Caledonia. We’ll be living near Nouméa. Do you know if the early childhood sector is a good field for jobs there? Can’t wait to discover this island! Right now, we’re in the middle of all the administrative paperwork for our 3 kids, finding housing, bringing our cat to the territory, and so on! We’re a couple with a child living in the Paris region, and I’ll be relocating to Aix-en-Provence in spring 2026. We’d love to swap our apartment for a house with a pool within 20-30 minutes max of central Aix, with a budget of around 650k €.
In terms of climate and geography, I’ve read that Aix is in a basin where it can get really hot. What about the surrounding villages that are a bit more elevated, like Venelles? Is it just as stifling?

Starting this spring, we want to settle near Aix-en-Provence. We're tired of living in the mountains with all the snow—we really need some sunshine and a fresh start. Is it hard to find a house to rent there? What about prices? If you have any great tips or useful info about the area, we’d love to hear it. First, I’d like to practice from my apartment. Is that allowed in Thailand? Ideally, I’d like to work part-time in a private hospital as an osteopath. I’m thinking that in Thailand, the medical field is much more open than in Europe!!! Has anyone seen an osteopath or chiropractor working in a Thai hospital? Do you know the price of a consultation?
