Comment as-tu trouvé la vie en Guyane toi qui y a passé 1 an ?
la vie est tres differente il y a beaucoup moins de choses à faire qu'en metropole mais par contre c'est beaucoup plus tranquille sans stress tu vis bien en plus avec le soleil moi j'etais sur kourou et j'aimerais y repartir j'ai un peu le cafard car maintenant je suis dans le sud est ça ne me plait et mon ami fait des horaires de dingue on a plus le temps de se voir il est trop stresse et cette vie et le contraire de la guyane la bas tout est à 2 de tension la vie est calme par contre attention beaucoup d'insecurite en guyane

je n'ai pas encore de date de départ car dans un premier temps, je vais demander une mutation (cela peut prendre 6 mois). Si ma mutation n'est pas accordée, je me mettrais en dispo.
De plus, je souhaiterais travailler en psychiatrie et je n'ai aucune idée de la vacance des postes dans ce domaine. Au pire, je peux travailler en soins généraux mais c'est la psychiatrie qui me passionne.
Et toi ? tu as travaillé dans quels services ?
Sinon, je vis à Strasbourg et même si c'est une ville où il fait bon vivre, j'ai besoin d'aller voir d'autres horizons. Je recherche comme toi une vie plus tranquille où on n'est pas sous tension en permanence.
Dis moi quand tu bouges là-bas, on peut rester en contact si tu veux.
Je réitère ma demande : si quelqu'un a les coordonnées du ou des hopitaux psychiatrique en guyane ce serait super gentil de me les envoyer. Je n'arrive pas à les trouver sur le net et j'ai beaucoup de mal à me mettre en contact avec la ddass à Cayenne.

je suis aussi a la recherche d un poste en psychiatrie en guyane. Mon recruteur m avait trouvé une place en guyane, je ne sais pas ou. Malheureusement, selon lui, tous les postes ont été suspendus, car ils attendraient la sortie des éleves infi de guyane(mars-avril). Mais bon, la psychiatrie n est pas le poste préféré du métier, J ai 20 ans d expérience en psychiatrie et urgences psy.

Effectivement, les services psychiatriques sont rarement pris d'assaut aux sorties des écoles, et je suis certaine qu'il restera une petite place pour nous.
De mon côté, si j'ai des infos, je les partagerai avec toi.

Je vois que tu as toutes les adresses qu'il te faut. Par contre je ne sais pas s'il y a beaucoup d'endroit pour la psychiatrie. Mais des infirmières il y en a toujours besoin.
Nous avons vécu 5 ans en Guyane avec mon mari. De 1993 à 1996 et de 1999 à 2001.
Il y a de très beaux endroits à voir, on peut faire des choses qu'on ne fait nulle part ailleurs.
Le climat est dur à supporter pour qui ne supporte pas la chaleur et un taux d'humidité de 95%.
Suivant l'endroit pas toujours évident de se loger, il faut prendre son temps pour chercher.
Pour nous Kourou n'est pas l'endroit idéal. On l'appelle la ville dortoir, c'est plus métropolisé, mais pas plus à l'abri de la délinquance ni des agressions.
Mon fils est resté à St laurent du Maroni car lorsque nous sommes partis il avait la chance d'avoir trouvé un boulot. Il dirige l'hôtel des 3 lacs. Mais il a envie de repartir, en tout ça lui fait quand même 10 ans de Guyane.
Je dois reconnaître que je ne rate pas une émission lorsque j'en vois une à la télé et j'ai toujours un pincement au coeur.
Il y a la période du carnaval qui commence le 1er WE de janvier pour se terminer 6 semaines plus tard. Très animé et bien sympa.
Beaucoup de dépression ppir les gens qui arrivent. Certains repartent assez vite. D'après mon médecin le fait de voir du vert partout y est pour beaucoup, pas de changement de saison, le soir qui tombe toujours à la même heure. La châleur qui surprend à l'arrivée;
Par contre, j'ai eu des perroquets, dont un qui parlait, on voit les singes, des serpents, des araignées et d'autres petites bestioles auquelles on se fait rapidement.
Les retours sur la france ne sont pas toujours donnés.
Enfin, sur la Guyane on peut en raconter pendant des heures.
Nous entre nos 2 séjours en Guyane nous avons fait 3 ans en Guadeloupe, et depuis fin 2001 nous sommes à St Pierre & Miquelon.

Pour le moment, je n'ai pas encore vu d'offre d'emploi qui m'interessait, mais je ne suis pas pressée, je me donne 1 an pour trouver ce que je recherche. Dans le cas contraire, je me tournerai vers d'autres destinations, La Réunion, Mayotte..., mais j'ai quand même bon espoir de trouver mon bonheur en Guyane.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.

The project is simple:

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
