Bonjour, à la fin de l'année scolaire je pars m'installer à Bangkok avec mon père durant un an.
J'aimerai savoir, si vous comme moi avez déjà été contraint de partir dans cette ville. Et si oui comment vous y êtes vous intégrés ? J'aimerai obtenir quelques informations sur la culture, la langue, la nourriture, la population.
De plus je vais passer mon bac par correspondance car le lycée français de Bangkok ne prend plus en compte ma fillière ( Littéraire ) . L'adaptation au pays n' empiettera t-elle pas sur mon travail scolaire ?

Pour ce qui est de la culture, de la ville et de ton futur environnement, tu pourras déjà trouver beaucoup de témoignages sur le forum et également dans les divers sites qui parlent de Thailande. N'hésite pas à chercher ailleurs que sur les sites de vacances, il y a des encyclopédies en ligne qui te donneront pas mal de renseignements.
Pour ce qui est de ton bac, il va falloir sérieusement t'accrocher, mais si vous ne partez que pour un an, dis-toi qu'une année "perdue" n'est pas la fin du monde. Peut-être pourrais-tu envisager de t'inscrire dans une autre branche et voir ainsi différentes matières, notamment en profiter pour perfectionner ton anglais et, pourquoi pas, apprendre la langue thaïe. Je vois sur ton profil que tu as déjà beaucoup voyagé, peut-être ton papa fait-il partie de ces cadres qui changent régulièrement de pays, dans ce cas, cette situation n'est pas nouvelle pour toi, ce qui est un gros avantage. Si c'est une première, donne-toi un peu de temps pour découvrir ton nouvel environnement et ne t'inquiète pas trop, tu sortiras de cette année bien plus riche et plus cultivée que la plupart de tes camarades de classe actuels. Profite à fond de cette expérience et dis-toi que c'est toi et toi seule qui pourra en faire un paradis ou un enfer.
Tu trouveras certainement aussi une communauté d'expats et des jeunes de ton âge qui t'aideront à t'intégrer, il y en a dans toutes les grandes villes du monde.

Je sais moi aussi j'ai été extrêmement surprise. Dans les lycées Français de Pondichery et de Bangkok ils ne propose que les fillières S et ES, ainsi qu'une classe STG. Pour la fillière L, ils disent qu'il faut prendre des cours par correspondance avec le CNED.
Je ne sais pas comment cela se passe dans les autres pays, mais pour ce qui est de l'Inde et de la Thaïlande j'en suis certaine.
Sinon, si tu as encore un doute va sur les sites des lycées français à l'étranger, tu y verras alors les fillières proposées.

je pense que cette décision a été prise car il doit y avoir, malheureusement, peu d'étudiants qui s'inscrivent en Lettres, dont impossible de nommer des profs pour cette filière
si tu as qques craintes à propos de tes études par le CNED, tu verras ils sont très bien faits, naturellement il faudra t'y tenir chaque jour, tu peux avoir des difficultés ponctuelles en littérature mais surtout en langue mais tu auras l'occasion à BKK d'avoir de nombreux amis(es) qui parlent anglais
je suis actuellement à Malacca en Malaisie, je compte aussi me promener en Indonésie avant deremonter vers le grans nord c'est àdire à BKK, si tu y es ns pourrons ns rencontrées, je t'aiderai en ce qui concerne tes organisations de cours et surtout pour les contenus (je suis ex-prof de Lettres Modernes et Histoire-Géographie en lycée général donc je connais bien tes programmes

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
