J'envisage un tour de l'Amerique du Sud a partir de l'ete prochain et j'en suis au stade de la planification generale...
Presentement, je suis etudiant et seurveur (suiteur en fait) dans un restaurant francais de montreal tres connu: le Bonaparte. J'ai suivi un cours en service de la restauration (DEP) et j'ai eu mon diplome. Bref, tout ceci pour demander si la possibilite d'avoir un emploi dans la restauration en Amerique du Sud est plausible?
Si c'est le cas, est-ce que cela vaut la peine? Je parle monetairement? Les serveurs gardent-ils le pourboire? En ont-ils? Conditions de travail? Permis de travail? Etc..
Au fait, je me donne un an pour apprendre l'espagnol latin donc, la langue ne devrait pas TROP etre un obstacle (commune au francais - je parle couremment l'anglais et j'ai quelques bases en Serbo-Croate et Russe qui me seront probablement peu utiles).
Je vis au chili depuis 2 ans... j'ai appris sur place la langue.
A mon avis:
1) Serveur ? si tu ne maitrise pas la langue...personne ne t'engagera...
2) Ici le smic tourne a 200$Us *voir moins au Perou, Bolivie, Bresil...le reste je ne sais pas.
Tu peux chercher ds les restau Francais sur Internet, mais je ne vois pas pourquoi un proprio emploirait de la main d'oeuvre etrangere 5X + chere quand la locale - en abondance lui suffit !
A mon avis, a moins de monter sa boite comme petit restaurateur ou petit fabriquant d'un type d'aliment (Ex: Pate) tu ne trouvera pas de revenu/salaire viable en A.S...
Je connait qq restaurateurs FR au chili, et apparement, ils ne roulent pas sur l'or, et envisage de vendre le negoce.
Comme investisseur au Bresil il te faudrais 50.000$us pour commencer ou employer 10 personnes sur 5 ans...progressivement...
Au chili c'est 40.000$

L'equation vit moins chere accompagnée d'un Salaire plus bas est inevitable a mon sens.
Je pense que tous les émigrés établis en A.S. sont établi:
1/ a leur compte ou
2/ travaillent soient,
A/ pour le ministere de l'éducation, armée, recherche...
B/ une ONG (Volontaria), ou une
C/ Entreprise des pays 'industrialisés' ayant du personels expatriés
D/ Retraités avec 2000Euro/mois !
Donc dans tout les cas c'est le genre de demarche qui se prépare depuis le pays d'origine.

Ça s'annonce plus corsé que prévu 😐, mais bon, je verrai sur place je crois. En fait je pars là-bas avec quelques économies et j'envisageais de travailler pour pouvoir rallonger mon séjour puisque je compte y rester à peu près un an, mais l'idée d'y passer quelques années m'a quand même charmée.
Si tu veux t'ouvrir une boite, je crois avant tout qu'il faut analyser où il y a des manques dans les besoins de la population. Je lance une idée, comme ça, par rapport à mes connaissances: y a-t-il des écoles de formations en service de la restauration établies et qualifiées, par exemple (j'en ai aucune idée, personnellement ;) ). Je sais que l'industrie du tourisme est importante en A-S mais font-ils venir leurs serveurs d'Europe ou encore de l'A-N ? Ou, plus simplement, leurs serveurs sont-ils expérimentés? C'est des éléments comme ça que je vérifierais d'abord une fois sur place, mais vu ton expérience je suis sur que tu y as déjà pensé 🙂
Au fait, un salaire dit Européen est-il nécessaire? Je croyais le coût de la vie plus bas en A-S et je ne désirais pas vivre en riche mais plutôt subvenir à mes quelques petits besoins 😉
Je prépare mon 2ieme sejour, mais si il y a bien qq chose qui m'a frappé c'est l'ignorance totale que j'avais sur ce pays par rapport a ce que j'y découvre en LIVE ainsi qu'ONLINE !
Ce n'est plus le pays des Films en noir et blanc des années 60 avec ses plantations de café, meme si elle existent - heureusement - toujours !
Dit toi, que tu y trouvera de tout, et au meme niveau de modernité que l'Europe, Universités, industries, hotelerie, de la Musique, etc... et ds certains domaines, avec un pas d'avance sur la France, Fabrication du Biocarburant, etc...
Donc, vas-y découvrir ce que tu peux...car le pays est immense, et apperemment spécialisé ds tel ou tel domaines suivant les Etats.
J'espere que tu pourras y ouvrir un marché-niche n'etant pas spécialiste du tourisme je ne saurait te repondre... 😊
(attention a qui tu parles de tes idées, le Bresilien est trés oportuniste a ce que j'entend dire, et c'est surement un de ses point fort)..si tu as une idée et pas les moyens suffisant de la réaliser, ca va coincer, a voir tes talents de gestionaire !

Leur flotte de camions sont equipée de system antivol par Satelitte, Ils ont une 'bouffe' Excellente et variée, ils savent produire pratiquement tout sur place, voitures, alimentaire, electroméager, meubles, (Pc ?) et diplomés ! ...ils ont des maisons d'un Standing meilleur qu'au USA ds des cadres Paradisiaques !
et une vision de l'avenir positive (qui se fait rare de nos temps)
Ce qui gache tout c'est la corruption et la misere de beaucoup... mais bon, qui casse...paiera un jour !
Je te souhaite de te faire une petite place au soleil, ca tourne pas mal autour des opportunités qui se presenterons a toi, donc impossible a estimer a ce jour...et je serais ds le meme bateau !
Fait davantage de recherches sur les sites universitaires/touristiques bresiliens, ca te donnera une idée du niveau Bresilien.
J'avais des idées moi aussi, jusqu'a me rendre compte que ca existait déja sur place ! 🤪 😏
