C'est vrai. Moi je suis à Paris mais il est difficile de trouver du boulot. C'est parce que le taux de chômage est assez élevé et du coup trouver du travail relève d'un parcours de combattant pour les étrangers. Mais n'empêche y a des gens qui s'en sortent
Le 3000$, c'est parce que tu as besoin d'argent pour les premières semaines, comme verser un acompte pour le loyer, acheter ta passe de métro/autobus, manger, etc.
En France, les gens sont souvent payés au mois, donc entre le moment où tu arriveras au pays et celui où tu recevras ton premier chèque de paie, il peut s'écouler 6 semaines au moins...
Et n'oublie pas que 3000$ canadiens, ça fait pas beaucoup en euros...seulement 2100 au total 🤪

D'abord je te souhaite bon courage pour les démarches si tu les fais, tu verras que c'est vraiment une partie de plaisir...si tu aimes zigonner et bien la France est fait pour toi ;-).
Ca fait un brin que je suis en France, j'ai réussi à faire changer mon visa vacances-travail (de 1 an) pour un titre de séjour temporaire après 1 an sur le territoire, ça va faire bientôt 3 ans que je suis ici, j'ai enfin obtenu un boulot stable ou du moins en Intérim, ce qui n'est pas si stable que ça finalement. Lors de mon arrivé ça m'a pris environ 5 mois avant de me trouver un boulot pourtant la demande est forte mais ce n'est pas tout à fait les même critères de sélection que l'autre côté de l'Atlantique. Il regarde avant tout ton parcours scolaire ou universitaire avant tes expériences de boulot, limites ces dernières il sans foute un peu. Tu peux avoir bossé 20 ans comme enseignant alors que tu as des études en botanique ben il ne te voudrons pas en enseignement car tu n'auras pas les qualifications selon eux...puisque tu auras un diplôme en botanique alors pk vous n'aller pas travailler chez Truffaut Madame! (Truffaut= Magasin de fleurs en France)
Je te dirais que c'est plus facile d'être expatrié par une compagnie canadienne en France, de cette manière tu es assuré d'un boulot à ton arrivée et tu peux te concentrer sur les autres problèmes du séjour en France pour un étranger.
Personnellement il est vrai que c'est un sacré parcours du combattant mais quand tu vois la lumière au bout du tunnel après 1 an passé tu remarques finalement que ça en vaut vraiment la peine de s'être "battu" comme ça.
Le visa vacances-travail est un bon moyen de partir vite et sans te prendre la tête mais par la suite pour te trouver du boulot tu verras que c'est davantage un handicap qu'une aide. Les employeurs potenciels voient inscrit "visa" sur ton passport déjà il y a de la méfiance et il vont préféré quelqu'un qui n'a pas ça pour se sauver de la paperasse administrative qui vient avec la personne qui à ce type de visa. Ce n'est pas aussi rose que ce que le mec du guichet du consulat francais à Montréal te laisse croire. Il y a beaucoup d'incohérence avec ce visa comme les fameuses "autorisations provisoirs de travail" qui ne sont spécifées nulle part mais qu'on te demande à chaque nouvel emploi sans oublié les délais de plus de 2 semaines pour obtenir ce papier et ton appartenance à un lieu précis de résidence sans quoi le papier ne t'es pas délivré et donc que tu ne peux travailler...
C'est pour cette raison que le visa vacances-travail m'a un peu dégoûté finalement. Je me rends compte aujourd'hui ayant une carte de séjour temporaire qui me permet de travailler que c'est beaucoup plus simple avec cette carte. Plus besoin d'autorisation et les employeurs ne sont plus méfiants et t'accueil limite les bras ouverts car là j'avoue être canadien aide beaucoup!

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area.
