je pars prochainement au cambodge, ainsi qu'au vietnam et thailande, c'est mon second voyage là bas, j'ai été conquise...ça donne envie d'y vivre!! est ce que quelq'un a eu des experiences de "long sejour" là bas, où qui a vécu là bas...je sollicite votre avis, vos conseils sur ce sujet.

Pour le Cambodge, vivre à Phnom Penh ou dans des villes en province ne pose pas de problème particulier, par contre dans des villages, à la campagne, des problèmes d'insécurité se posent.

mon experience
1 mes gouts musicaux sont differents, je me gaves de musique soupe cambodgienne
2 mon attirance pour les burgers est irresistible, apres manger du riz tous les jours un bon macccc ca peut faire rever.
3 la valeur du dollars plus que l euro, vraiment plus facile de s adapter au dollar,
4 je suis deconcertee devant le prix des disques ou des livres en france. sur internet j entends
5 je mange le riz avec les doigts, je me mets a cracher par terre, j ai aucun complexe a me mettre parfois les doigts dans les narines.
6 plus sociable que jamais, quand je suis un peu triste les gens me disent que mon visage ressemble a du choufleur.
7 j ai adopter plus dune vingtaine de personnes, et j adore le rire en grelot des enfants qui jouent chez moi.
8 je manque de jambon rouge et de fromage
9 je mate de nouveau beaucoup de betises a la tele, mais sans exagere avec la star ac ou esthetique extreme.
10 je reves dun noel prochain sous la neige a paris, et des vitrines du printemps.

La musique Khmere, c'est vrai qu'au debut c'est "bof-bof" ...et puis l'oreille s'habitue... et je commence à l'apprecier, les amis de l'autre coté de la frontiere parlent du blues Issan, j'aime bien l'expression et les musiques ont des simlitudes .
Manger khmer, tres bien mais de temps en temps, j'apprecie les plats de chez nous...et c'est tres possible !
Le pouvoir d'achat... c'est une remise en question des chiffres et de leur valeur!
je me moque de l'apparence, je suis habille en khmer et il est tres sain de peter!
les gens qui me connaissent m'appelle khru khon kat parce que je ne suis pas comme eux mais pas en correspondance avec l'image du Barang et aussi parce que je discute avec eux en direction de l'au delà 😉 (le maitre metis :literalement) metissage culturel!
j'ai pris en charge un orphelinat dont personne ne voulait s'occuper !Je vois s'ecouler le temps, un film au ralenti...je rigole 10 fois plus qu'en france, j'adore inventer des mots, et tous les jours decouvrir de nouvelles choses! Je te rendrai visite cet ete ! Bonne vie, cordialement.

Je pars la semaine prochaine, avec à la fois beaucoup d'impatience, et une petite trouille quelque part que je ne saurais pas trop expliquer. Peut-être le fait d'emmener toute seule ma mère, et le fait de savoir à l'avance qu'on va se prendre une claque.
Mais je sais aussi qu'on va passer d'excellents moments et se fabriquer des souvenirs pour toute une vie.
Et en plus, Marion, pas toi, mais ma fille, est dans un projet de 4 mois de stage à Phnom Penh pour cet été. Elle viendra certainement te voir. Bref, que de bons projets.
Pour le jambon (de parme) et le fromage tu en trouves à Phnom Penh ( magasin lucky par exemple) ! Et meme un petit Bordeaux ! 😉 les prix sont à peu pres les memes qu'en France !...Et tu respectes ton voisin dans l'avion 😉

dis donc quel dynamisme et quel courage à ton age de partir comme ça à l'aventure à l'autre bout du monde....c'est tellemet contraire à la jeunesse qu'on voit en france ( genre molasson sans ambition...😉, mais bon on ne peut pas leur en vouloir...mais qd on veut on peut!!!)tu fais quoi dans ton travail? tu maitrise combien de langues au fait? je pense que tu dois etre calée en english....tu es bien là bas? tu comptes y rester?...pour avoir vecu par sejour de quelques mois à l'etranger, je sais qu'on a tendance à etre un peu nostalgique pour certaines choses, mais bon moi j'ai plus de famille en france alors...y a pas grand chose qui me retient!

Salut Roger, je suis Christel, vis encore en Belgique jusque fin août, puis je me lance pour le Cambodge.Après avoir visiter le pays, c'est m'y installer qui me fait envie, mais(je crois que nos habitudes européenne font que y a toujours 1 mais)donc je pars, sans rien...hors mis mon envie de partager mon expérience et de les aider(sans prétention) à se reconstruire.Educatrice spécialisée dans le handicap pour les enfants, j'aspirerai à ce genre de poste comme m'occupée d'enfants dans un orphelinat ou autre.Ce n'est pas l'argent qui m'intéresse, mais de vivre et partager avec les khmères le quotidien.Où te situes tu?Et comment as tu trouvé se plan?(si c'est pas indiscret)

dans le cas ou on cherche une maison ou un appart, c est plus utile et efficace problemes
2 appprendre la langue quotidienne du genre pour les nombres et les aliments, mais aussi les gros mots important pour le contact
3 les massages eviter les massages cambodgiens si tu veux pas avoir l air d avoir une maladie grave
4 importer un jambon entier de france
5 savoir taper sur la viande pour quelle soit tendre ce que je sais toujours pas faire

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.
I believe it’s time to bring this space to life to meet pressing needs and serve the common good of society.
The project is simple:
1) Grow maize + build a processing plant to produce flour
2) Open a mini supermarket + a modern bakery using the flour for pastries, etc.
3) Build a healthcare service
4) Build a nursery and primary school
5) Construct free housing for retired expatriates in exchange for their voluntary contributions in their respective fields.
This is a project I truly believe in, and I invite anyone interested to add their personal touch—whether through advice, guidance, or involvement.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
