quelqu'un pourrai-il m'aider à trouver l'endroit idéal?
je suis également artiste éclectique et autodidacte, actuellement je fabrique des "wind chimes "(carillons chinois) en vitrail, perles et cristal...peut etre est ce une idée de business touristique?
y a t il beaucoup d'artistes dans n'importe quel genre?

Il est assez difficile de répondre à ta première question, dans la mesure où seule toi-même pourra juger réellement de l'endroit idéal, en rapport avec ce que tu recherches, mise à part le climat tropical.
Concerant ton idée de chambres d'hôtes avec son petit bar sur la plage est une trés bonne idée bien sùr. Il y a tout de même pas mal de démarches à entreprendre. Ici, tu trouveras plutôt des ''cabinas'' diverses catégories, des petits hôtels de charme, des lodges, des écolodges, des albergues, etc...
Tu trouves pas mal d'artistes oui, ici, mais c'est pas NYC non plus. 😛 Soit bien des locaux, soit des étrangers. J'ai en tête une personne que j'ai rencontré à Puerto Viejo, Natacha. Elle est française et a ouvert sa boutique, aprés s'être lancé dans la ''déco'' de murs/façades à l'intérieur d'hôtels, en utilisant le verre principalement (genre de fresque sublime, toute faite de petits morceaux de verres qu'elle taillait elle-même). Elle a son atelier derrière sa boutique. Si je me souviens sa boutique se nomme Lulu, quelque chose comme cela, il faudrait que je cherche.
Je pense que de dont toi tu es capable, peut plaire énormément, je ne pense pas que tu ais du mal à en vendre, cela m'a l'air en tous cas super sympa.
Écoutes, je crois qu'il est important que tu viennes avant tout jeter un oeil ici pour voir de par toi-même si le pays te plait, des endroits qui pourraient te plaire, il y en a sùrement plus d'un, il te faut y aller, et sur place, tu vois au feeling. Ton fils va donc aller à l'école, cela doit jouer aussi j'imagine surtout s'il a 14 ans. Vous parlez espagnol, tous les deux?
Maintenant, je me mets à ta place en tous cas pour le business, si c'était moi, j'opterait soit pour Puerto Viejo, Mal Pais, Montezuma, Nosara/Samara/Carillo. Avec le petit de 14 ans, c'est une autre histoire.

je suis francais d origine algero-maroccaine et je souhaite egalement m installer au costa-rica afin d ouvrir un restaurant de specialité maroccaine et narguilet afin de partager un peu de ma culture.Pour les globe-trotters qui connaissent j aimerais trouvé une ambiance type "essaouira " (maroc) ou "puerto morello" (non loin de playa del carmen //mexique) si quelqu un connais un peu le pays et qui pourrais me renseigner....merci a tous.
Je ne connais ni Puerto Morelos, ni Essaouira malheureusement, donc je ne peux pas vraiment faire de compaison. Par contre, je trouve que ton projet est une bonne idée. Le seul restaurant que je connaissais, de type oriental, se trouvait à San Jose, et pour je ne sais quelle raison vraiment, ils n'ont pas marché: le resto est fermé. Il y en a un autre toujours dans San Jose, mais je ne le connais pas...
Il y a aussi ici, sur le Paseo Colon, un resto libanais...
J'ai un couple d'amis qui ont ouvert ici à San Jose une boutique de produits importés du Maroc. Leur boutique se nomme la Casa de Ali Baba: ils importent des tables, lampes, vaisselle, enfin toutes sortes d'objets de déco également... Ils sont les seuls sur le marché, et les gens aiment beaucoup, leur clientèle est tout de même variée.
Par contre, il y un fort engouement pour le Belly Dancing ici, c'est impressionnant, et ce par des costariciens: toujours sur la capitale, c-a-d des cours de danse dans les salle de sports par exemple. Les filles adorent!
J'ai l'impression que ton concept de resto pourrait marcher sur Tamarindo par exemple, car tu as là-bas une clientèle très cosmopolite, et des restaurants de cuisine assez variée. Je pense que cela plaierait beaucoup. Maintenant, je ne sais pas s'il s'agit du type d'endrtoit que tu recherches.
Je te dirais bien Puerto Viejo, mais la cuisine des Caraîbes, dans ce coin-là est déja assez recherchée, je n'ai pas l'impression que cela marcherait, mais bon...
Evenutellement, peut-être Manuel Antonio: là tu trouves de bons restos, mais souvent la plupart sont intégrés dans l'hôtel lui-même.
Même chose pour le nord du Guanacaste il me semble...
La meilleure chose pour toi, et avant tout de venir faire un tour par ici, et de juger par toi-même, de sentir l'endroit....

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.
I believe it’s time to bring this space to life to meet pressing needs and serve the common good of society.
The project is simple:
1) Grow maize + build a processing plant to produce flour
2) Open a mini supermarket + a modern bakery using the flour for pastries, etc.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
