Je compte m'installer et travailler deux ans au Brésil à Santos. Je ne connais pas du tout la ville ni le pays où je ne suis jamais allée.
J'ai quelques questions pour ceux qui auraient déjà visités ou y sont installés:
- Comment est Santos? Sympa? j'ai fait des recherches mais je ne trouve pas grand chose....Elle est pas très touristique en tout cas, n'est-ce pas?
- Le plus proche aéroport et le meilleur moyen d'y arriver, c'est bien Sao Paulo?
- Est-ce quelqu'un aurait une idée du loyer là-bas? Combien faudrait-il en Real pour avoir un joli appart sécurisé et neuf?
- La sécurité justement, est-ce que c'est une ville où on peut sortir sans problèmes?
- Est-ce qu'il vaudrait mieux acheter les meubles sur place? est-ce que c'est cher ou bien raisonnable?
- Est-ce qu'il ya des centres commerciaux, des grandes surfaces etc ou bien c'est une très petite ville?
- Qu'en est-il du coût de la vie en général?

Je l'ai visitée une seule fois, je l'ai trouvée assez jolie et calme. Par contre, comme dans toutes les villes brésiliennes, on ne peut pas aller partout le soir, surtout si on est une femme seule. Santos est une ville portuaire assez grande avec plus de 400 mil habitants, très proche de São Paulo et des magnifiques plages du littoral Nord. C'est un peu touristique, mais pas trop, je crois (j'y suis allée pour un congrès d'étudiants quand j'étais à la fac). Il y a des universités, des centres commerciaux, toute l'infrastructure. Il y a sûrement plusieurs magasins de meubles. Par rapport aux prix, je ne peux pas vous donner beaucoup d'informations, cela fait déjà quelques années que je vis en France... Vous pouvez faire un tour sur le site de Tok Stok, http://www.tokstok.com.br/cgi-bin/WebObjects/TSVitrine.woa/wa/default, c'est à mi-chemin entre Ikéa et Habitat, ils livrent à Santos (les magasins sont à São Paulo). Et oui, l'aéroport international le plus proche est à São Paulo.

Je souhaite également m'installer au Brésil d'ici quelques mois et j'ai trouvé pas mal de contacts sur place en allant sur Skype, tu peux choisir la ville dans laquelle tu veux aller discuter et au cas ou choisir aussi la langue dans laquelle tu veux discuter. Pour vouloir rester 2 ans là-bas c'est que tu as déjà un travail a Santos je suppose ?

plus sympa que sao paulo c est sur et la mer et plages, qq quariers craignos kan meme, mais interessant si effectivement tu y va via une maison mere, ce qui te permettra bon salaire etc.... si tu cherche un logement va ds classificados brasil, cherche l'eta de sao paulo puis santos , , , , apartamento a aluguer!!!!!!!!!!!!! je peux regarder pour toi si ça te branche !!!! aucun interet perso

Je serai peut etre dans la mm position ke toi dans kelkes mois, je n'ai pas encore si ca va se confirmer mais je pourrai être amener a sejourner pour kelkes années à Santos, alors je me pose déjà les mm kestions ke toi il y a kelkes mois!
Alors comment ça se passe pour toi? Comment est Santos? Facile et agréable à vivre? coût de la vie? ambiance? les gens? combien coûte un appart meublé de 2 à 3 chambres avec cable, phone, high speed internet etc...? et la sécurité? les relations avec les autorités locales? facile de louer et conduire une voiture? facile d'avoir un cel? Internet marche bien? facile de trouver à manger? Des services de santé? des universités francophones? les gens parlent plus souvent français ou anglais, à part le portugais bien entendu. J'ai déjà fait un vouyage de 6 semaines à Rio de Janeiro en 2003...Ca a dû tellement changé et Santos semble être une petite ville portuaire...des activités pour s'occuper à part le travail? les étrangers sont bien accueillis, acceptés et intégrés?etc....Les formalités administratives, fiscales, fédérales???Le visa de travail? les déclarations d'impot?etc...Les taxes? Peut on utiliser les cartes de crédit avec des frais supplémentaires? dois obligatoirement ouvrir un compte bancaire là bas?

Santos est une petite ville, comparee a Sao Paulo...Facile a vivre, oui je dirais. Agreable aussi dans le sens ou il ya la plage, du beau temps presque toute l'annee (alors qu'a sao paulo, il fait beaucoup plus froid). Les gens sont sympas en general, encore plus avec les etrangers j'ai l'impression.
Un appart meuble...il y'en a pour tous les budgets, mais pour avoir quelque chose de plutot sympa, 2 chambres, il faut compter a partir des 1800-2000 reais, mais tu peux trouver a moins si tu es patient, et que tu cherches pas pendant janvier-fevrier-mars, la haute saison ici. Le cable, phone et internet ne sont jamais inclus dans le prix...mais il y'a plusieurs options et les prix varient...Vivo est un des operateurs Internet les plus courants ici, tu peux checker leur webpage pr avoir une idee des prix...
La ville est beaucoup beaucoup plus sure que Sao Paulo, mais il y'a juste des quartiers ou les gens evitent d'aller...et tout le monde te les designera a ton arrivee, par exemple le centre ville en week-end. Sinon les precautions de base, pas d'objets precieux sur soi, pas de grosses sommes d'argent, pas d'objets precieux en evidence dans ta voiture parkee a l'exterieur...
C'est facile d'avoir un mobile et la vitesse/qualite Internet sont satisfaisantes. Il ya plein dendroits ou manger...et des hopitaux, medecins...pas d'universites francophones non...en tt cas pas a ce que je sache...il ya une alliance francaise...mais je n'ai encore jamais croise quelqu'un qui parle francais et l'anglais est extremement rare...meme dans les boutiques, centres commerciaux etc...Si tu comptes venir, je dirais que des cours de protugais avant est un must.
Pas beaucoup de choses a faire a part le travail, a part la plage et beaucoup de sport. Les gens vont regulierement a Sao Paulo, une ville avec bcp plus de choses a faire, mais preferent tout de meme habiter a santos pour la securite.
Le visa de travail prend des mois en general, et c'est un vrai casse-tete, tout comme les autres procedures. Tu peux choisir de les faire toi meme je pense (a confirmer), mais beaucoup engagent des cabinets pour gerer ces procedures.
Je pense que c'est obligatoire d'avoir un compte bancaire ici mais cest quelque chose a confirmer.
J'espere avoir eclairci certains de tes doutes.
