nous sommes en train d'étudier pour les billets
et pour les hotels aussi en vue d'une virée sur la cote-est via trajet en train fiana-manakara
nous avons un point de chute, fiana, ma fille habite là bas
il est vrai qu'elle se charge de nous faire un plan excursion
qq jours de farniente soit nosy be soit ile ste marie
Nous voulons partir à MADA du 5 septembre au 5 octobre car nous voulons voir les baleines à Sainte Marie après il n'y en à plus.
Notre Budjet : Voyage a/r 700@ CORSAIRFLY
Logement nouriture 150 € / semaine Total maximum pour un mois 1500 € Si notre plan vous intéresse on en discute. Nous c'est plongée baleine immersions dans la vie locale et le dépaysement Nous sommes déjà allé e 2004 et nous avons des contacts sur place donc nous pensons être réaliste mais nous avons besoins de nouvelles idées pour découvrir au mieux. il est vrai que l'on peut dormir et manger pour pas cher donc le budget me semble juste
j'étais à madagascar il y a quelques mois
pour l'hebergement, si vous voulez un à mois cher et plus convivial que les hotels, ce sera les chambres d'hotes ou chambre chez l'habitant
a tana j'ai habité chez l'habitant au centre ville en plus, à 12 euro la nuit, petit dejeuner compris. j'étais ravis de mos passage chez eux que je me suis dis je vais le dire à tout le monde

sinon à antsirabe et fianarantsoa, il y a des chambres d'hotes très correcte et propre aussi à petit prix

Je suis parti avec ma femme 6 semaines à Madagascar et je suis rentré le 5 mai. Nous avons contacté depuis la France un guide Fiacre que d'autres avaient trouvé très intéressant et nous n'avons pas été déçu nous avons négocié un circuit de 8 jours pour 400 euros par personne au départ de Tana incluant la descente de la Tsiribihina au départ de Miandrivaso (bivouac 3 jours)jusqu'à Belo-sur-Tsiribihina puis les tsingy en 4x4 et un retour sur Morondava après visite de l’allée des baobabs hôtel inclus Super contacts dans les villages et bain de nature en pirogue banane sans la contrainte d'un groupe....le guide son e-mail fhilusco07@hotmail.com et son n° de tél 261340186418(il parle très bien Français et nous a appris beaucoup de choses.
Pour un autre circuit d'une douzaine de jours nous avons pris un chauffeur qui pour 30 euros par jour avec en plus le coût de l'essence nous a emmené où nous voulions. Nous avons profité de ses conseils et de sa connaissance du pays. nous est même arrivé de vouloir gravir un sommet sur notre route aprés demande dans le village nous avons trouvé deux jeunes femmes qui ont bien voulu nous y emmener Il a été de bon conseil pour des visites de parcs et est venu nous attendre à Manakara aprés un voyage super en train depuis Fianarantsoa Il s'appelle Jocelyn et travaille avec Fiacre mais peut vous proposer un circuit. Nous avons pris le bateau Jean-Pierre C.alloch pour aller Majunga à Hell Ville(Nosy Be)22 h de voyage attention départ les vendredis et les mardis pas cher 24 euros par pers et puis après c'est la visite des îles et c'est fonction du porte feuille.Le meilleur hôtel à Nosy Be Les Résidences à AMBATOLOAKA avec un patron malgache(Ca existe là-bas) Alexandre engagé politiquement et qui saura vous conseiller pour éviter les arnaques. On y mange très bien et sa terrasse qui donne sur la mer est très appréciée . C’est 30 euros la chambre avec petit déjeuner, chambre ventilée terrasse, coffre-fort, hôtel gardé et en plus générateur de courant quand il y a des pannes et c’est quotidien.
Quant à se loger à Tana le sakamanga c’est super 18 euros une chambre impeccable (s’y prendre à l’avance car il n’y en a que 6) et on y mange très très bien à goûter le foie gras et un moelleux extra…..BON VOYAGE Catherine et Jean-Marie 😎

Je suis inquiet pour le peuple malgache... Comment font-ils pour vivre dans ce pays si cher? Pour indication, le salaire moyen malgache (pour ceux qui ont un salaire) est de 20 à 30€ mensuel. 1500€ en un mois ça fait donc 60 fois le salaire mensuel, soit 5 ans de salaire malgache... En estimant le salaire moyen français à 1000€/mois (et je vise bas), c'est comme si un touriste venait dépenser 60 000 € en un mois de voyage en France...
Vous conviendrez qu'à ce moment là, la rubrique "voyager à petits prix" n'est plus vraiment d'actualité... à moins de chercher effectivement à manger du foie gras et avoir un coffre fort dans sa chambre mais là je crains que ce soit le "pour nous c'est dépaysement et l'immersion dans la vie locale" qui en prenne un sérieux coup...
Et avec tout ça les prix augmentent encore à Mada... devra-t-on renoncer à voyager en 4x4 climatisé? C'est horrible ce qu'on peut infliger au touriste qui recherche du "typique"...

Je pars également avec mon copain les trois premières semaines d’octobre à Madagascar. Nous savons déjà que nous voulons découvrir la côte est et St Marie. J’aimerai avoir votre avis sur notre parcours.
Paris- Tana Tana- Antsirabe- Antsirabe- Ambositra- Ambositra- Finarantsoa Finarantsoa–Manakara : en train, y a-t-il des villages sur la ligne de train qui vaillent le cout que l’on s’y arrête ? Manakara (en pirogue) – Mananjary Manajanry –Ranomafana : le parc est –il bien ? Quelle randonnée ? Ranomafana- Tana Tana-St Marie (avion) : on est plongeur (niveau 1) et il parait qu’il y a des spots fantastiques. En avez-vous testé quelques uns ? et à quel prix ? St Marie- Tana Tana-Paris
J’hésite également à partir directement de Mananjary jusqu’à Tamatave via le canal du Pangalanes, mais je sais pas si nous aurons le temps en trois semaines. De Tamatave nous irions jusqu’à Mahambo en taxi Brousse et de Mahambo à St Marie en bateau. On m’a également parlé du massif de l’Andringitra.
Que pensez-vous de tout cela ? Combien de jour rester dans chaque endroit pour en profiter ? Je sais que l’on ne pourra pas tout faire pour en profiter à max.
Quelques petits indices sur nous : nous voulons partir cool, prendre notre temps, rencontrer des malgaches et échanger avec eux et profiter de la nature et des paysages. Nous pensons prendre une tente. Nous ne sommes pas accros au confort … Un peu de simplicité pendant trois semaines … Et nous ne voulons pas nous retrouver au milieu des touristes.

tous déplacements prends du temps bcq de temps.......

My trip to the Algarve, which was postponed, is now taking shape.
On October 13th, I’m leaving for 2 weeks. When I arrive, I’ll be staying in Lisbon for 3 nights. So, I’d love to find somewhere affordable and well-located to stay—any suggestions would be great!
After that, I’ll head to Faro, where I plan to rent a car. Would it be best to rent directly from the airport? I can’t seem to find any agencies in Faro city where I could pick up the car and drop it off at the airport at the end of my stay. Is it possible to return a car at 6 AM at the airport?
Can I get the Portuguese motorway pass in France?

Now, after seeing and reading a bit everywhere, and with the first quotes for a 6/7-day safari, I’m shocked by the prices (like $2,250) for places like Maasai Mara, where entry alone costs $200 per person per day, plus fees for the driver and vehicle.
So if you have any recent great tips or contacts to share to help me out, I’d really appreciate it—because despite the costs, we’d still love to go, while keeping things reasonable.
The most plausible solution is probably renting a vehicle with a driver-guide.

We’re a young couple planning to travel to South Africa after spending about three weeks in Namibia. We’ll arrive in Cape Town around mid-December, with no fixed travel duration (though our budget will eventually set a limit).
After browsing through the forum, we’ve realized the country is packed with incredible spots, which makes choosing an itinerary tough. We’re looking for stunning landscapes, hikes, and so on. So, we’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences.
When we arrive in Cape Town, we’d like to settle in and take it easy until New Year’s, exploring at a relaxed pace. We know this period coincides with South African holidays—does that make finding accommodations (availability/prices) more difficult? Do you think it’s possible to stay in a nice place for about 15 days without aiming for the most upscale neighborhoods? Maybe somewhere a bit outside Cape Town, like Fish Hoek, and just visit the city occasionally.
After that, we’ll have plenty of time (about 2 to 2.5 months) to explore the country. We’d like to take our time. In your opinion, is it better to focus on the Cape Town region, or is it reasonable to consider more distant areas like the Drakensberg or Blyde River Canyon? Can everything be done by car if we take our time, or are domestic flights sometimes more practical?
Budget-wise, how much do car rentals cost? For accommodations, we usually look at Airbnb—are they affordable in South Africa? What’s the average nightly rate outside the biggest cities? Are there other platforms you’d recommend for saving on lodging?
Finally, regarding safety, are there any regions to avoid besides Johannesburg?
We know this is a lot of questions, but we’re still in the early planning stages!

After exploring southern Peru in 2024 with your help, we’d love to head north next. There’ll be 5 or 6 of us:
1. Arrive in Lima in the evening.
2. Visit Lima and take a flight at 6:35 PM to Tarapoto.
3, 4, 5. Spend a few days there to trek in a reserve (Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve) or somewhere else.
6. From Tarapoto to Chachapoyas—either by overnight bus, daytime bus, or private car.
7. In Chachapoyas: Gocta Waterfall, Sonche Canyon, and walk back to town.
8. Head to Kuelap citadel, Revash, and arrive in Leymebamba.
9. Leymebamba museum, then route to Cajamarca.
10. Cajamarca hot springs, overnight bus to Trujillo or Chiclayo—or do both.
11, 12, 13. Visit and explore the area.
14. Overnight bus back to Lima.
15. Lima.
16. Depart at 8 PM for France.

I’d like to drive to Morocco from Paris via Spain. I was really surprised to see the ferry crossing prices—around 500 €—but especially the crossing time (about 1 hour). Normally, I pay 3000 € to go to Tunisia from Genoa, but that’s for a 24-hour crossing.
