Peru Trip

We’re a group of 6 friends with an average age of 70, all mobile, and we’re planning a trip to Peru in September/October 2026. Below is an idea of what we’re looking for: a French-speaking guide, accommodation in 3-star hotels or homestays with comfort.
Duration: 16 to 20 days on-site.
Visit the main sites with immersion in the culture and way of life.
Which francophone agency in Peru would you recommend? Thanks
Hi there,
Try making a request on Evaneos—it’s a platform that connects you with French-speaking local agencies.
Sure, it comes at a cost.

Awesome plan! September/October is a great time to visit Peru. In 2 to 3 weeks, you can explore Lima, Arequipa, Lake Titicaca, Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu.
I recommend reaching out to Twalo (https://www.twalo.fr): they work with local French-speaking agencies and can organize a custom trip with a guide and comfortable accommodations.

Hi there,
I also recommend toutperou, the blog and forum. It's a solidarity network, not a travel agency. Plan your itinerary, and the team will validate it for you. They can also book all your transportation and guides with a discount if you buy the premium card. Briefing with Laurent upon arrival in Lima.
We just got back from September 9th to October 1st, and everything was perfect.
Lima – 2 nights Paracas – 1 night Huacachina – 1 night Overnight bus Cruz del Sur from Nazca to Arequipa Arequipa – 2 nights Yanque (Colca Canyon) – 2 nights Llachon – 1 night Homestay on Amantani – 1 night Puno – 1 night Checacupe – 1 night Cusco – 2 nights Agua Calientes – 1 night Ollantaytambo – 1 night Cusco – 3 nights Lima – 1 night
It's a magnificent country.

Hello Also consider visiting northern Peru with Kuelap, the "Machu Picchu of the north" without the crowds. The Gocta Canyon, the Chachapoyas region, and pre-Inca cultures that are lesser-known but just as fascinating, without the hordes of tourists.
Hi there,
Whatever you do, don’t go through Evaneos because you’ll end up paying an agency twice. Instead, contact them to get quotes. They’ll put you in touch with local agencies. Nothing stops you from using them to organize your trip without signing anything. Just be aware that you won’t be able to use the services of any agency Evaneos recommends. Like others, I’d advise you to go through Tout Pérou. For a "membership fee," you can organize your entire stay exactly how you want with the help of their advisors. You’ll save money on domestic flights and buses. They’ll also connect you with drivers and guides on demand. They’ll book your train tickets for Machu Picchu (MP) and entrance tickets to the site. In your case, you might be able to skip the buses since I think you can get a minibus for your group at the same price. The driver and guide costs will be shared. You can choose your hotels (with or without Tout Pérou’s help). Check out the current post here: https://voyageforum.com/forum/il-y-voyages-qui-naissent-deux-fois-perou-avril-mai-2025-d11461000/ for a detailed review of a recent trip organized by Tout Pérou. If this setup doesn’t work for you, book directly with a local French-speaking agency instead. (I can give you some names in a private message.) The choice is yours! Larri
