This is the largest settlement on Gozo. It features a citadel and a beautiful cathedral. Officially named Rabat, the town is nevertheless referred to as Victoria to avoid confusion with its namesake on the island of Malta.

Climate and Weather in Victoria

The town's climate is heavily influenced by the sea, offering year-round mildness and consistent sunshine, even in winter when the sun shines for an average of five or six hours a day. In short, winters are never cold (averaging 15°C), though the weather can be windy and rainy, as is often the case at the end of the year.
