Après plusieurs années en Thaïlande, un ami prof dans l'enseignement supérieur a quitté ce pays en 2003 lassé par la mentalité et les sempiternelles tracasseries administratives. Depuis lors, il a un poste à Hanoi et en est satisfait.
Mon cher Similan, je suis tellement qualifié que je suis devenu prof de marketing dans une des plus grandes universités de Bangkok en étant français. Mais il m'a fallu 2 ans pour, finalement, avoir un contrat à plein temps et un permis de travail
Le conseil est donc qu'on ne peut pas juste s'amener comme ça et trouver du travail (on en trouve, mais pas de contrat, pas de permis de travail, le visa run tous les mois, et les salaires....🤪🤪🤪🤪): il faut avoir assez d'argent pour tenir, et la vie n'est plus bon marché à Bangkok!
Je suis installe en Thailande depuis trois ans. Je suis venu avec un sac, mon pc portable et peu de sous (pas beaucoup). Maintenant je vis bien. Je ne dis pas que c'est facile au debut mais je connais beaucoupe de farangs qui ont reussi. Ce n'est pas si difficile que ce que l'on pretend a condition d'etre serieux

ton histoire ressemble a la mienne, pareil pas beacoup de sous et tout lacher en france, jobs, apart et femme ( j'en avais pas lol donc facile de tout lacher ) pc sous le bras je suis venu ici, par contre moi je resterais pas ici, car au bout d'un mois je suis deja lasser la thailande, je suis pas fetard du tout ( donc tout ce qui est bar ect ... tres peu pour moi ), etant asser timide donc pas facile d'avoir des ami ( deja qu'en france c'est dur alord imagine quand tu parle pas la langue ), perso je pense que bangkok c'est bien pour visiter (et encore si t'est pas seul ) mais par pour vivre, moi je me suis fait chier le premier jour a bkk, seul pommer comme un glandos a siam square ( faut dire il pleuvait comme jamais ), je suis rester un peu puis je me suis casser au sud bien mieux !, des gens que je connaisser depuis 3 ans par le net, des que que je les ait vue en vrai, bin le lendemain plus de nouvelle ! (5 personne vue 5 personne perdu, coinsidence ou meme mentalité ? ), sympa l'amitier thailandaise non!, et taura beau faire de moulte effort pour parler thai ( j'etudie le thai seul depuis 3 ans je peux lire un peu et ecrire aussi et parler (pas des discussion juste demander des truc, ect .. sans plus) et avoir un niveau d'anglais, si tu vit ici bon courage . je dit pas que tout le monde et pas bien heuresement ya des gens sympa (les vendeurs, normal tu leurs donne de l'argent ), mais en general il s'en fouterons de toi completement, tout categories confondue, homme, femmes surtout femme lol, jeune pas jeunes, faut croire que le francais n'as plus la cote a l'etranger .et tout cas mois asser decu de la mentaliter des gens d'ici . alord que sur les forum en general, il disait pays du sourire j'ai pas vue plus de sourire qu'en france, donc moi je veux pas casser ton reve, car mois aussi je voulait faire comme toi, puis en essayant je me suis rendu compte que c'est pas possible, la seul chose que tu vas faire c'est te ruiner a petit feu, alord a moins que t'ai un business et que tu peux gagner des sous avec ton pc ou je sais pas trop, tout ce que tu vas faire c'est perdre ton argent, , , , si tu veux trouver un boulot ? a moins que tu soit japonais ou yakuza je risque d'etre chaud, quand tu sera ici tu vera des endroit bourrer de japonais, ce qui a le dont de m'enerver car eux ils ont tout ici, , pour vivre ici, contrairement au francais qui sont individualiste, eux vivent en groupe, et s'entraide et vivent ensemble, c'est dans leurs mentaliter, c'est pour cela que eux il arrivent a vivre en thailande sans pb, il ont des bureau qui leur font des visa ; des work permit, et comme ils ont plein de contact c'est facile pour un nouveau d'arriver.. des vrai mafieux quoi, ect ..alord que nous francais on n'est seul, y'aura rien pour t'aider. ya pas de mafia francais en thailande ^^
en regle generale les asiatique contrairement a nous vivent en clan, qui ils sont a l'etranger, ce qui leurs permet deja d'avoir plein de contact sur place, mais a l'inverse il ne s'integre peux ou pas beaucoup avec les gens du pays ou il vivent, alord que les francais arrive avec sa mentaliter il cherche a s'integrer, mais il est tout seul ! ., je serai toi, je voyagerais 2 ; 3 mois dans chaque pays d'asie, ta de quoi bien faire au moins 2 ans si tu visite chaque pays du coin. et t'embete pas a essayer de vivre ici c'est la galere .imagine qu'en mode touriste je suis deja lasser alord imagine toi quand tu vas devoir rester au meme endroit, , , la galere assuré 🏴☠️🏴☠️a+ ( zut faut que j'aille

Moi je suis venu avec juste mon pc portable et un tout petit peu d'argent.... Maintenant j'ai achete mon appart, ma voiture, ma ste fonctionne bien. Bien sur que les gens ne sont pas parfaits. Mais ici, contrairement a la France on recolte pratiquement 90 % des fruits de son travail. Je vais en vacances en France. A chaque fois je suis heureux de revenir ici. Je peux dire que j'ai deux pays.
Je ne vous raconterai pas mes entrevues avec les employes du fisc ici. Ils ont cherche a m'aider. Rien a voir avec le fisc francais.
Bien sur il y a des francais qui ratent leur installation. Soit ils ont de la malchance, soit ils n'en sont pas capables tout simplement ( ce n'est pas un jugement de valeur) Je maintiens qu'avec un projet serieux (il peut chamger en cours de route) une motivation certaine on y arrive. C'est surement plus facile de s'installer ici qu'aux US ou en France pour un etranger.
Pour conclure si vous venez vous installer avec une mentalite de touriste, restez en France. Moi je travaille comme je le ferais en France. Mais j'ai une qualite de vie tres au dessus de ce que la France pourrait me proposer.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
