Je suis une jeune étudiante française et mon plus grand rêve serait de m'installer au Canada. Je suis actuellement en licence d'Anglais (enfin, vu les problèmes actuels dans l'enseignement, faut le dire vite...) et j'aimerais partir au plus vite dans ce magnifique pays qu'est le Canada. J'aurais voulu savoir si il serait possible pour moi de trouver un emploi en tant que commis de bibliothèque; est-ce qu'il y a une région/province qui est vraiment demandeuse dans ce domaine? Ou faut-il que je redescende de mon petit nuage... 🤪 J'ai déjà une petite expérience dans le domaine des bibliothèques (j'ai été vacataire dans une bibliothèque et ai suivi une partie d'une formation sur les Métiers du Livre).
En tout cas, je n'ai rien à perdre, mais j'ai vraiment du mal à trouver des renseignements sur Internet sur mon cas particulier, je ne sais pas si il y a des sites qui proposent des emplois de commis en bibliothèque ou s'il faut que je prenne l'initiative de contacter "toutes" les bibliothèques Canadiennes pour savoir si elles n'auraient pas un emploi à me proposer 😛

quand vous dites canada il ya deux realités,
le QUEBEC et les 9 autres provinces anglophones, donc si la langue anglaise n'est pas un probleme pour vous, vous pouvez allez partout, sinon il ya le Quebec.
mais avant tout vous devez commencez par les démarches d'immigration, a moins que vous demandiez
un visa d'étudiant, car comme partout pour travailler en toute légalité il faut suivre le cheminement.
je ne suis pas expert en biblotheque, mais elles sont sous juridiction municipale donc cela multiplie les approches, il existe un site pour les recherches de trvail en general, www.jobboom.com donc si vous y allez en reherche avancée peut etre cela vous donnera une idée

J'ai travaillé pendant plus de 30 ans dans les écoles avec mon diplòme de technicienne en bibliothèque ou autres selon le cas.
Les commis qu'ils engagaient étaient des personnes déjà à l'emploi de la commission scolaire parce qu'ils ouvraient les postes à l'interne comme on dit.
Dans les municipalités, on privilégie les habitants qui y demeurent...
Je ne veux pas vous décourager mais c'est certain que vous aurez plus de chances si vous habitiez ici et ensuite chercher un emploi.
Je m'étais aussi renseignée sur la Maîtrise en Bibliothéconomie à l'EBSI de Montréal, mais je suppose que les places doivent être "chères"... Sinon quelle formation faut-il suivre pour être technicien en bibliothèque? Est-elle accessible à un non-Québécois?
Je pense que le schéma le plus logique pour moi serait de finir mes études en France (ma licence d'anglais), de faire une demande de résidence permanente pour le Québec et une fois sur place chercher des petits jobs pour commencer, et pour par la suite me diriger vers ce que je veux faire...

C'est un cours de 3 ans qui se donne au niveau collégial. Mais je crois que vous avez raison, il faut faire d'autres démaches avant et sur place, vous pourrez vous inscrire.

j'ai bien lu votre message, ecoutez chacun ca chance ici si vous avez une experience vous pouvez toujours envoyer des cv, mais il fat toujours avoir une recommandation en main vaat de quiter votre travail.Ce que je vous conseille de faire si vous trouvez pas de e pa perdre du temps et se lnacer directement dans un programme de Bibliotheconomie ici à l'université, les programmes varient entre 1 et 2 années.

bonjour c'est faisable certainement mais au départ très difficile...on préfère privilégier les candidats locaux ou les nationaux que les nouvels arrivants.
Je préfère le dire sans détournement, donc s'attendre à voir sa candidature refusée si envoi dans une biblio..
par contre avec une "expérience canadienne" ce sera plus possible
Maintenant il n'y pas que les bibliothèques, au Québec et principalement à Montréal le secteur de la Culture ça bouge tout de même et il y a certainement des tas d'opportunités dans ce domaine

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.
I believe it’s time to bring this space to life to meet pressing needs and serve the common good of society.
The project is simple:
1) Grow maize + build a processing plant to produce flour

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
