J'en suis à mon 4 ieme voyage en République Dominicaine, première fois au Caribe Club Princess et surtout, première fois en solitaire!!
Selon les commentaires lus, je crois avoir fait un bon choix... Si parmis vous ont des commentaires particuliers à faire au sujet de cet hôtel, ne vous gênez surtout pas!
J'y serai du 25 juin 2009 au 02 juillet 2009 prochain, y'en a-t-il qui y seront en même temps que moi?
De mon côté c'est dans 2 dodo, j'ai pas mal hâte.....
Petites questions: y'avait-il suffisament de chaises à la plage ou, comme à d'autres endroits, il faut s'y prendre tôt? Comment as-tu trouvé la bouffe, et , y'avait-il beaucoup de québécois?
Si tu as la chance de me répondre avant mon départ, tant mieux, sinon pas grave, je constaterai sur place!
Pour les chaises, pas de problème mais si tu veux un palapas, arrive vers 8.00 am au moins pour y laisser ta serviette avant déjeuner, puis ça devrait aller. Nous on y était vers 7.30-8.15, on a toujours trouvé un. Quant aux chaises, pas de problèmes, mais elles seront au soleil.....c'est juste si tu veux de l'ombre.
Pour la bouffe, on a très bien mangé. 5 fois les restos à la carte. Je te recommande tôt, 18.00-19.30 pour la fraîcheur...L'Italien est bon, on est allé 2 fois. Le Brésilien veut le spectacle et j'ai bien aimé le décor du Dominicain, la bouffe au buffet, rien à dire. Propre et bon. Le service a été super. Notre chambre était rénovée et bien située. J'ai rien de négatif à dire sur ce voyage. Beau temps, seulement un matin avec un orage et 1 journée grise. 30-32 toute la semaine et très humide, mais une belle brise sur le bord de la plage. Si tu veux magasiner, vas au marché au puces, à gauche sur la plage, passé la baie, 15-20 minutes de marche et négocie!!!!!
Pour les québécois, c'est pas tellement la saison...Plus d'européens.
N'oublies pas d'aller saluer José Obama au bar de la piscine, il est vraiment trop sympathique. Tu vas aimer ton séjour, nous on est revenu à contre coeur!!

Bel hôtel, sympa et pas trop immense...Je préfère les lieux plus petits aux gros hôtels...un 4 étoiles.
Le plage est superbe, la bouffe aucun problème, toujours de quoi manger, c'est varié. Le buffet, on est allé seulement 2 fois...On a été 5 fois aux restos à la carte, 2 fois à l'Italien qui est le meilleur à mon avis.
Notre chambre était rénovée, donc, parfaite avec un lit King! Propre et bien située. Tout est accessible et proche. Peu importe où tu es, je pense que les chambres sont bien situées.
Quant au délai pour réserver, ça dépend de chacun. Moi, je booke souvent 2-3 semaines avant départ. Pour te donner une idée, on a payé 800$ p.p en basse saison et on aurait pus l'avoir à 700$ p.p si on était parti le samedi ou lundi au lieu du dimanche. On avait pas le choix.
Je crois que c'est sensiblement pareil en novembre.....J'attendrais un peu. Mais ça, tout dépend de chacun.
On était à la chambre 1169, 1er bloc dont je ne me souviens plus du nom ???, mais les 2 sont semblables. On était au 1er étage, face à la piscine, chambre rénovée et propre. J'avais un peu peur au 1er étage mais on a apprécié l'accessibilité. Face piscine, buffet, restos, etc. Il y avait aussi des Villas dans la section Tropical, je crois. Il y a une cour intérieure dans chaque bloc. C'est joli comme endroit cet hôtel. Vous partez quand???? Avec quel voyagiste???
j'aimerais savoir si vous avez passé un bon séjour au Caribe club princess, car nous y allons le 2 janvier. J'ai entendu dire que l'hotel était fermée pour rénovation de septembre à novembre. Avez-vous constaté ces rénovations? Savez-vous si toutes les chambres supérieures sont rénovées?

Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.
The package covers the hotel, but our tips help support the people who make our vacations magical. Don’t forget to budget for this in cash when you pack!

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Do you know of any nice, budget-friendly hotels with activities in Mexico? Or Zanzibar is also an option for me, same idea.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). I’m not necessarily aiming for the cheapest resort, but since it’s spring break week and everything’s already pricier, 5-star options are probably out of the question. Thanks!

We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.

A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
