Avant notre départ, je suis souvent venue poser des questions sur ce forum, alors, à mon tour de partager mon expérience.
Nous sommes partis à 5 (2 adultes et 3 ados) du 20 au 27 février et nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l'hôtel IFA. Cet hôtel est un très bon 4 étoiles. Les chambres dans la partie océan sont très belles. Les repas très bons et variés et il y a le choix entre les nombreux restos. La plage est très belle et pas bruyante si on s'éloigne des animations. Nous avons beaucoup aimé les spectacles de danse le soir, mais moins les animations avant, mais ça, c'est une question de goût. Les piscines sont très sympas aussi et il y a le choix entre celle avec animations et les deux autres, beaucoup plus calmes. Le personnel est toujours souriant et agréable.
Il faut pas mal marcher dans cet hotel, mais je trouve ça très agréable dans un tel décors.
Les représentantes de Vacances Transat (une canadienne et une française) sont très agréables et toujours prêtent à renseigner, même si nous ne leur avons pas acheté d'excursions.
Notre regret : seulement 4 jours de vrai beau soleil et 3 jours de nuages !
Les points négatifs de l'hotel : pas de paillottes sur la plage et à la piscine pour protéger du soleil et le ménage des chambres pas toujours nickel, mais bon, pas catastrophique quand même. Quelques groupes de jeunes espagnols et américains assez bruyants (mais là, l'hôtel n'y peut pas grand chose). Les serviettes de toilette qui sont prisent le matin et redonnées uniquement le soir (le jour de notre départ, nous avons rusés en planquant nos serviettes dans un placard, comme ça nous avons pu prendre une douche vers 11h avant de rendre les chambres !!!!). Finalement, il n'y a donc pas grand chose de négatif !
Nous avons fait deux excursions avec Captain'Pat : Saona Super et le Safari. Vraiment très bien organisé, vraiment rien à dire de mal, que du positif et la langouste grillée sur la plage, un vrai délice.
Pour finir, nous ne regrettons absolument pas notre choix. Il est certain qu'un 5 étoiles, c'est encore mieux, mais aussi beaucoup plus cher.

Je suis extrêmement d'accord avec vous... Le IFA est pour moi un coup de coeur j'y suis allée une fois du 24 au 31 janvier et du 5 au 12 mars 2010. J'étais aller précédemment au Sirenis tropical et au Grand Palladium tout deux a Punta Cana... mais je suis resté accrochée au IFA !!!😉 J'étais pour ma part dans les chambres du côté village qui sont aussi très belles, elles sont situées dans l'activité autours de la piscine principale. Le personnel est exceptionnel et j'ai eu la chance de me faire d'excellents amis avec qui j'ai gardé contact !!! J'y retourne même au mois de Novembre !!! Un hôtel simple et chaleureux...

merci pour votre témoignage car, on prévoit avec mon mari de partir en rep dom pour une semaine ou bien 14nuits, mais à voir les autres commentaires des différents hôtel, j'ai un peu peur, de perdre mon sang froid si il y a du bruit ou bien tombé sur un hôtel en mauvais état ou encore une hygiène déplorable,
mon agence de leclerc me propose l'hotel IFA villas, en promotion, vu les deux commentaires de cet hôtel, je pense que je vais réserver celui ci
mais j'ai tout de même besoin d'être rassurée:
les sortie sont elle onéreuse?les chambres sont-elles confortable?les restaurants sont ils bon?peut ont faire des activités et excursion avec des locales?
si vous connaissez des petites astuces ou bien des petit coin a visiter en dehors de l'hôtel?
et pensez vous que 15jours c'est trop, qu'on aura fait le tour de tout très vite, et qu'il n'y a rien a faire en dehors de l'hôtel?(on a peur surtout mon mari, de s'ennuyer de faire plage hôtel plage ....

Cécé, pour les sorties, oui, c'est quand même assez cher, mais en passant par Captain Pat, ça l'est quand même moins. Va voir son site sur interne, tout est bien résumé.
Pour ce qui est de s'ennuyer, il y a aussi les activités gratuites : beach volley, catamaran, pédalo, canoé.....
Les chambres sont très confortables, et moi qui est facilement mal au dos, cette fois ci, c'était nickel.
Les restos sont très bons et très variés, faudrait vraiment être difficiles pour ne rien trouver à son gout !!!! et les petits dej, tout simplement extra.
Bon voyage à toi et n'hésite pas à nous donner ton avis.

At all-inclusive resorts, base salaries are extremely low for 10- to 12-hour workdays. Tips aren’t just a little extra—they often make up half of these families’ income.
Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.
The package covers the hotel, but our tips help support the people who make our vacations magical. Don’t forget to budget for this in cash when you pack!

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Do you know of any nice, budget-friendly hotels with activities in Mexico? Or Zanzibar is also an option for me, same idea.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). I’m not necessarily aiming for the cheapest resort, but since it’s spring break week and everything’s already pricier, 5-star options are probably out of the question. Thanks!

We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.

A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
