Je te conseille vivement d'aller sur place et recontrer des gens la bas (cambodgiens et etrangers) avant de s'installer.
Il est possible que je vais investir aussi au Cambodge (mon pays d'origine). Mais pour le moment, je n'ai pas encore franchi le pas. Peut etre l'année prochaine 🙂
Juste un petit conseil ....... au Cambodge on peut encore faire quantité d'affaires, et si tu désires t'installer tranquillement et vivre sans faire d'histoires, il est possible d'ouvrir un bar comme le font beaucoup d'étrangers pour quelques milliers d'euros, j'ai un ami qui a ouvert un bar à Phnom Penh il y a cinq ans avec 1800 euros et il vit trés bien avec ..... mais une restriction, il faut passer par la mafia locale et faire travailler quelques filles dans ce bar, c'est incontournable, surtout sur la capitale ......
Si tu comptes t'installer plus sérieusement et développer un vrai business plus lucratif, il faut quand même prendre la température durant une année et faire de nombreuses connaissances à tous les niveaux de l'intellingetsia phnom pennoise ..... surtout policière 😉, et puis pas mal de français sont quand même installés, alors aller les voir et leur demander quelques clefs, mais attention la coopération même entre compatriotes n'est pas toujours évidente et chacun veille jalousement sur ses ramifications personelles .......
Il y a 1 million et demi d'habitants à Phnom Penh et on en prévoit un million de plus en 2020 ...... il y a donc de quoi faire ......

Je veux bien te donner des conseils sur une éventuelle installation au Cambodge, mais le premier ce sera d'être très prudent car beaucoup vont chercher à t'arnaquer.
Sache qu'il y a déjà beaucoup de concurence dans le domaine des bars et des guesthouses
Le budget peut commencer avec 8000 à 10000 us$ pour un bar, plus pour une guesthouse, il vaut mieux créer que racheter 1 affaire existante, cela revient moins cher....
Méfies-toi des association, c'est souvent risqué
Tu peux louer un local ou un emplacement à ton nom pour installer ton affaire, mais pour la patente (registre de commerce) il vaut mieux le mettre au nom d'un cambodgien ou d'une cambodgienne en qui tu as confiance, cela te permettra de payer moins de taxes et d'impots.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
