Ca y est, j'ai trouvé un appartement en location longue durée (dans une rue calme de Guéliz). Nous avons signé (devant notaire) un contrat de location en bonne et due forme. Il s'agit d'un appartement vide et je doit le meubler et l'aménager.
J'ai qqs questions pratiques encore non résolues et je fais appel aux conseils des habitués :
a) Assurance habitation ?
Rien n'indique dans mon contrat de location que je devais souscrire telle ou telle assurance... vos conseils sont les bienvenus.
b) Radema ?
J'ai eu des infos assez contradictoires à propos des délais de mise en place des compteurs. Si quelqu'un peut me dire comment ça se passe...
c) Téléphone et Internet ?
J'ai vu que Maroc Telecom avait une offre "Tél + Internet + TV", avec la MT Box. Il y a différentes options, en particulier au niveau du débit... Je suis à l'écoute de vos remarques et vos suggestions.

NB : je suis ravi de m'installer à Marrakech, je sais que l'aventure que j'entreprends ne sera pas aisée et je présume que je vais rencontrer des difficultés mais je reste confiant et enthousiaste. J'ai hâte de vivre là-bas !
J'ai suivi ton projet bien réfléchi et il devrait marcher.
Comme tu t'attends à quelques deboires inévitables, tu ne seras pas trop déçu.
La vie pour un expatrié à Marrakech est extrèmement agréable... quand tu as compris les mentalités et a accepté qu'elles soient différentes de cellles d'un occidental.
On trouve beaucoup de choses, climat super, situation, low cost, et médina qui a beaucoup de charme.
C'est un très bon compromis. Que je ne regrette pas !

mais je ne saurais trop te la conseiller ...
- La Radeema ... ah, je pourrais écrire un roman sur la Radeema ! On te donne un petit coupon avec un numéro provisoire, on vient t'installer le compteur assez vite et après il faut aller retourner établir ton contrat. Mais après, c'est souvent la pagaille ... factures erronées, envoyées à mauvaise adresse, coupures inopinées ... j'ai tout eu !
- Teléphone par MT Box : j'en ai eu de bons échos, ça marche bien sur Marrakech. Le débit ? moi j'ai en débit internet ( sans la box } 4Mb/s, c'est bien et suffisamment rapide, sauf pour le téléchargements

Il est vrai que je travaille sur mon projet depuis des mois. Il est vrai également que "LA VERITE" n'existe pas. Un bon exemple : lors de mon dernier voyage, à l'aller dans l'avion mon voisin allait sur place pour vendre son riad (maison d'hôtes) car il en avait assez des problèmes et de la faible rentabilité... et au retour, mon voisin était aussi propriétaire d'une maison d'hôtes et il recherchait un 2eme riad à acheter car sa maison d'hôtes était très souvent full. Lors de ces 2 vols, j'ai beaucoup discuté et échangé. Les avis, les expériences de chacun m'ont permis d'avancer. Une chose est sure, il faut éviter les conclusions rapides et expéditives !
Pour revenir aux questions pratiques, je note que je vais prendre une assurance... reste à trouver un assureur. Pour la Radema, là aussi, j'ai entendu des récits assez "fun"... je ne suis pas certain que ça me fasse rire mais je ne peux pas me passer d'eau et d'électricité ! Comme tu le dis, il faut accepter et s'adapter aux conditions de vie locales. Pour Internet, je vais essayer de prendre des infos dans le quartier... histoire de pouvoir travailler et de pouvoir aussi regarder la TV !

et puis surtout faire une étude de marché digne de ce nom

Je suis bête j'ai pas fait beaucoup d'études alors je vais faire une petite étude de marché si possible avant de me lancer, faire des calculs basiques pour voir ce que ça va me rapporter mensuellement, le coût d'exploitation etc..
C'est noté, je sais maintenant que la vérité existe... et qu'elle se trouve dans les livres comptables, les statistiques des CCI et dans les analyses financières ! Adieu donc toutes les incertitudes au sujet de mes futures opérations et de mes futurs projets.
