je suis en phase d entretien pour un job tres interessant d encadrement à la reunion
je vis a paris actuellement
Points positifs de la propal:
salaire , 60k€, voiture de fonction
job a priori tres interessant et enrichissant
le soleil
apres avoir lu les differents messages, je pense avoir cerné les points que je considere negatif a la reunion: insularite, vie chere (encore que les loyers soient un peu moins cher qu a paris), montagne (je deteste litteralement conduire en montagne , j ai un vertige tres prononcé)
Mon style de vie est tres parisien: cine, theatre, beaucoup de culture, we en europe
A priori pas les points forts de la reunion, mais je ferais des economies alors :-)
Je voyage beaucoup: l ocean indien est interessant, mais a part maurice, peu de destination we ?
Je ne suis pas tres sportif , mais bon la rando et le vtt devrait me combler avec la mer
Donc , en faisant la balance, a part le taff , le climat , l adaptation risquerait d etre rude même si j ai bcp voyage dans ma vie et me considère donc adaptable
De plus je suis celibataire
J entrevois donc un certain ennui extra professionnel rapidement
Je souhaiterais donc connaitre le feedback de personnes ou de familles ayant un parcours similaire pour savoir si cela peut le faire ou si c est la déprime assuré a courte échéance
- y a t il une bonne librairie a saint denis (par bonne, j entends autre chose que marc levy, et autres best sellers habituels)
- je voudrais continuer d etudier l allemand , facile de trouver un prof particulier ?
Last question: est il d usage de negocier un retour annuel en metropole (je changerais de societe, donc ce n est pas une mutation de fonctionnaire ou assimile)?

Sinon, pour être un expatrié sur Paris, la vie ne sera pas du tout la même qu'ici!
On a pas le même mode de vie et ce n'est pas aussi sophistiqué!
Déjà que ce que tu demande c'est de voyager... Tu es sur une île! Certes tu as Rodrigues, Madagascar, les Seychelles, Mayotte, les Comores... Mais ce qui est bien à la Réunion (d'un point de vue Réunionnais! :) c'est qu'il y a de tout sur place! Les plages, les restaurants, les fêtes de fin d'année qui sont toujours très animés par rapport à celle de métropole, les montagnes, les randonnées, le parapentes, les musées (stella ou ferme corail...)... Si tu cherche la chaleur tu restes dans les bas et si tu veux de la fraicheur tu vas dans les hauteurs de l'île! Et avec les randos et la montagne, croit moi sportif tu vas le devenir! C'est d'ailleurs le gros point fort de l'île!
Si le week end tu t'ennuies, je pourrais te donner de bonnes adresses ou endroit pour sortir! Mais ne t'attend pas à garder ton régime de vie parisien... Adapte toi comme nous nous adaptons à Paris!
😉 voila le feed back!! : à mon avis, il y a de grande chance que tu te fasse chier aprés deux mois sur ce ailloux, C'est un trés bon plan pour parisien...pour 15 jours de vacances......peut être 3 semaines, mais pas plus .............d'ailleurs tu vas surtout rencontrer beaucoup de gens qui se font chier, car plein de fric, comme la plupart des" zoreilles", mais pas beaucoup de qualité humaine..............la RUN c'est pas Paris 5émé, 6'émé;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;16éme.............c'est pour les gens simples et tranquilles..............voir trés bien pour les fonctionnaires.........pour ceux qui triment c'est encore plus l'enculade que la métropôle!!!!..............à part ça c'est gavé de requins........( ceux qui sont pas d'en l'eau...), qui à mon avis te réservent un trés bon aceuil............question culture, c'est top...........surtout si tu fume la xamal!!.......question bouquin....fait toi livrer par UPS..............pour le reste..............je te souhaite que du bonheur....................!style de vie parisien............déjà j'me marre!!!!!thêatre, ciné....peut être est tu interessé par un café philo??? la dodo lé la!!!!!c'est du créole basique....mais tu devra le traduire en 24 heures!!!!

J'prendrai un peu des 2 réponses du dessus, je mélangerai bien le truc et je dirai : "c'est pas faux, la Réunion c'est tout cela".
On ne peut pas mieux résumer que ces deux points de vue là.
Après chacun fait son choix et voit sa vie comme il l'entend (et heureusement).
Toute expérience est bonne à prendre, même si au final, elle ne sera peut-être pas aussi bonne que cela (ça dépendra de toi), mais cela reste une expérience et forcément, on en tire des leçons.
La Réunion, c'est pas le paradis, c'est un département français éloigné de la métropole, donc avec tout ce que cela comporte, même si l'île est jolie, qu'il y a des cocotiers, du sable fin et du soleil.
Les livres, tu vas en trouver dans de bonnes librairies sur Saint-Denis par exemple. Après pour la culture, c'est pas Paris donc les expos, les sorties musées, tu va vite oublier (y'en a mais pas beaucoup et c'est pas les gros trucs de la métropole). Il faudra se faire à la sortie "balades en tout genre" plutôt tournées vers la nature ( randos, plages...). ça change mais ça fait du bien de changer un peu, non ? Et puis s'intéresser à l'histoire de l'île, c'est découvrir pas mal de choses intéressantes (d'ailleurs il ne faudrait pas oublier qu'à la base, l'île était sans habitants !)
C'est un mode de vie différent, bien plus lent qu'à Paris. Tu vis avec le soleil. Les mentalités sont celles d'un département éloigné où se mélangent les locaux, les fonctionnaires, les rêveurs, les curieux et les fumistes et tout le monde doit vivre ensemble, donc forcément, tout n'est pas rose mais on s'y fait.
Et puis comme je dis toujours, viens voir, si tu n'aimes pas c'est juste le prix d'un billet de retour. Tout le monde peut se tromper ou qui sait tu peux adorer !!

ll y a quelques années prendre un vol pour Mayotte coûtait littéralement une fortune peut-être que les prix ont augmenté.
Pareil si souhaites passer quelques jours à Madagascar je ne sais pas s'il y a un vol direct.
Ensuite vaut mieux aimer les ballades en montagnes.
C'est une très belle île de très beaux paysages et belles plages.
Saint Denis est une petite ville.
