après quelques recherches dans le forum, je me rends compte que les infos sont parfois contradictoires ou pas à jour - donc je lance mon propre fil:
J'ai une belle opportunité d'aller vivre et travailler avec mon job Parisien (à l’identique) dans l'informatique à MEXICO DF. Donc d'un point de vue pratique je serais plutôt privilégié, car partant avec un contrat d'expat et avec un emploi garanti.
Je prend quand même avec beaucoup de prudence car je vis plutôt bien en France et je veux surtout pas tomber dans la déception. On sait ce qu'on quitte mais on ne sait pas sur quoi on tombe 🙂
Je cherche des avis sur :
- Puis je vivre bien avec environ 3000 euros /mois ?
- Budget appart dans un bon quartier 750 euro/mois environ. peut-on vivre dans les quartiers "bien", type Residencial, sécurité 24/24. Je m'en fiche de piscine etc du bling-bling, il faut que ce soit propre et agréable. Comme c'est une grande ville, j'imagine il y a plus d'appart que des maisons (Quid prix maison dans Residencial ?)
- Ideal couple : COLONIA Irrigacion, CONDESA, COYACAN ? A part Polanca...
- 2 weekends par mois à la plage/sorties etc. 2 sorties /mois restau ou Ciné.
- 3 voyages par an à l'étranger (France compris).
- Pas d'enfants mais avec une femme latina qui probablement aimera rester à la maison et faire la belle... 😊
- Sécurité : peut-on aller sortir en boite le soir? Cout de taxi ? Je pratique beaucoup la salsa..
- Budget courses alimentaries 350 euros/mois.
PS. je me déleste des Impôts sur le revenu en France de notre Président "bien aimé"..mais quels impôts on paye en Mexique ??
Je connais plusieurs expats qui vivent au DF.
Avec 3000 euros par mois, tu va bien t'en sortir. Sache qu'au DF, un job à 1000 euros par mois, c'est déjà bien payé.
Pour le logement, je te conseille la Condesa, c'est une des zones les plus tranquilles et plus vertes de la ville. C'est bien situé et pour sortir, c'est pas mal. Coyoacan, c'est cool aussi. Le taxi, c'est pas cher. 50-100 pesos maxi la nuit pour rentrer. 30-60 pesos la journée, selon où tu vas bien sûr.
Pour l'appart, 10.000 - 15.000 pesos, t'as un truc bien, dans le centre, 100m2, 2 chambres.
Pour la sécurité, pas d eproblèmes particuliers (ça peut quand même arriver, c'est l'Amérique latine...). Et pour les impôts sur le revenu, c'est quand même 30%, un truc du genre.

J'ai fait moi même beaucoup de recherches et passé des heures dans des blogs d'éxpat.
J'en suis sortie un peu désenchanté:
1- Le Mexico DF est looooin d'etre bon marché (j'ai passé 1h à voir des apparts dans les sites immobiliers recommandés). Il se trouve que les prix de logement en location peuvent même dépasser ceux de Paris intra-muros !! Pour 10.000 pesos mensuels on a un appart hideux dans un style HLM défraîchi (500-700 euros par mois !!) . Pour commencer à avoir quelque chose de décent et vivable pour un Français il faut même pas regarder en dessous de 15.000 pesos, soit environ 1000 euros par mois de loyer !!! A 1300 euros (20.000 -25.000) on commence a entrer dans du agréable....
Un expat MAL payé gagne 25.000 mensuels soit environ 1500 euros. Une expat débutant jeune diplomé 35.000 persos 2100 euros. Si je gagne 50.000 pesos (2800 euros) c'est correct mais c'est loin de rouler sur l'or.
Apres c'est vrai tout le reste (à l’exception de la santé) c'est bon marché : voiture, essence, sorties, restaurant, taxis etc et heureusement...vu le prix que les mexicans payent pour se loger.
2. Pour les salaires qui dépassent 1000 euros par mois les impots c'est 30% prélevés à la source mais cela reste mieux qu'en France. Donc pour avoir 3000 euros il faut demander pratiquement 4000 brut.
Tous les avis sont biçenvenus mais mes constats sont objectifs surtout pour le logement j'ai passé beaucoup d'annonces en revue pour me faire une idée précise.
Bref la Mexique, comparé à d'autres pays d'Amérique Latine reste quand même assez chère et l’intérêt financier comparé à la France est très limité. Mais on n'y va pas vivre que pour le pourvoir d'achat.
au risque de décevoir, j'ai abandonné l'offre d'expat pour la Mexique. ils ont eu beaucoup de mal à trouver quelqu'un qui veuille y aller (aussi étonnant que cela puisse paraître). Finalement ils ont trouvé quelqu’un sur place, un Mexicain.
J'ai pris ma décision en fonction de beaucoup de paramètres surtout la qualité de vie Mexico DF vs Paris et le fait que j'étais assez désenchanté au niveau du coût de la vie.

Mais pour vivre à Mexico il faut vraiment aimer.
Y passer quelques jours comme touriste c'est bien c'est sympa, y vivre c'est autre chose.
Car c'est une ville qui est vaste et étendue et un peu étouffante, pas autant que Paris mais c'est une mégalopole tout de même.
Si tu dois y prendre le métro tous les jours pour aller travailer c'est comme à Paris voire pire car les métros sont pleins à craquer presque tout le temps.
Ceci dit les habitants y sont globalement sympas je n'ai pas eu de mauvais souvenir particulier.
no finalement j'y suis pas allé (voir mon message précédent). Et je n'ai jamais eu l'occasion d'y aller au Mexique même pour tourisme. J'ai pesé le pour et le contre..A quoi bon quitter une grande métropole comme Paris pour México DF où trouver les mêmes désagrements puissance 10, pollution, surpopulation, insécurité, vie chère. De plus mon contrat d'expat était censé sans limite de temps donc j'avais pas droit à l'erreur, je ne pouvais pas y aller et dire après "ça me plait pas".
salut Eri76 pour la pollution à Mexico c'est exact j'ai oublié de le mentionner..une bonne partie de l'année il y a un nuage de pollution sur la ville enfin peut-être que maintenant le problème a été atténué avec la circulation alternée.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
