Wow, just wow. We're a long way from the humble blue Hopi corn here! 😉

Alright, I’d love to set a new challenge—I’ve got some ideas... but tell me, don’t you all have challenge ideas too? Whoever kicks things off gets to pick the next theme!

Oh yes, it's him—the roadrunner!

It’s tough to get a photo of him when he’s running... but I was disappointed by how small he was—I thought he’d be bigger (thanks, cartoons!)

Hi there,

It's not just in Yellowstone where you can see bison—Antelope Island on the Great Salt Lake near Salt Lake City is home to a beautiful herd. We were lucky enough to have this amazing encounter.

Here’s a typical animal of the West that my wife loves ( 😉 ) and that you can spot early in the morning on the road:

Or encountered during hikes at dusk in the Tucson area (I almost stepped on one with sandals on—so not smart!)

See ya!

Hey Eric, I really love this one!

First off, a tribute to those darn seagulls that harass fish and chips eaters here in San Francisco... they’ve got a well-practiced tactic, teaming up like pros. I find there’s a particularly dramatic intensity to this scene...

Ahhhhhhh, how amazing it feels... (along Highway One, south of Carmel)

And finally, the enchanting singers of so many forests... here in Mammoth Lakes

Good evening! :) At Fabienne’s request, I’m giving it a go. How about a challenge for foodies? On the theme of culinary specialties. Clam chowder on the docks of San Francisco. Martine :)

Good evening Martine,

I’m not familiar with it. Was it good?
