Bonjour à tous Nous sommes un jeune couple avec un garçon de 4 ans. Nous envisageons d'aller au Maroc en juin pour un parcours en vélo avec notre petit. Que pouvez vous nous conseiller, quel circuit, quelles étapes, comment se passe l'avion avec les vélos?. Notre but; faire de petits parcours, légers car nous irons en gîte ou chez l'habitant, le long de la côté de préférence. Merci d'avance pour vos réponses. PS avons déjà fait un bout du canal du midi en vélo avec notre petit....

Voilà, la dernière fois je prends un catalogue dans une agence de voyage et je vois 7 nuits et circuit 4x4 au maroc, pas torp cher, le top ! Mais vu le prix ben on est juste co-pilote 😕 pas fun du tout...

Je voudrais savoir si vous connaissez des agences qui elles nous font conduire à des prix raisonnables ET savoir si c'est dur d'organiser soit même un trip en 4x4 au Maroc (location 4x4, bivouac, etc.. ) et surtout avoir vos expériences... ??

Nous partons pour 1 semaine à marrakech au mois de mai qui peut me renseigner sur les excursions à faire nous pas de visite de marrakech nous connaissons déjà Ouzoud ? Vallée de l'ourika ? lac ? Essaouira ? Ouarzazate? Que faire en préférence Est-il préférable de louer une voiture ou de prendre des excursions? Merci🙂

Bjr Je m apprete, histoire de me "remettre" d un petit trip en Amerique du Sud, a aller chercher d ici deux ou trois jours la tranquilite au Maroc...Je pense pas mal au nord du pays, a la region entre fes et la cote mediteraneenne, surement jusqu a la frontiere algerienne...Je vadrouille avec un budget reduit, et je cherche des bonnes infos sur cette partie donc...Plus particulierement des coins moins touristiques que Chaouen, et vers Tetouan, Al Hoceima, et plus a l est jusqu a Oujda...On m a dit aussi que la cote au sud d assilah valait la peine, vous confirmez?Si vous avez des petits villages a m indiquer dans les montagnes, et des endroits avec des petites criques sympas et pas bondees sur la cote, je suis preneur...Et quelques infos sur le climat actuel dans cette region seraient aussi le bienvenue .... Bonjour à tous!!! je pars au maroc du 13 au 27 janvier Je suis à la recherche d'hotels à El jadida, Rabat, Meknes, et oued Zem Je me rend aussi à marrakech à Fès et à casa ou j'ai déja trouvé des hotels!! Je recherche des hotels simples et petit budget, le style routard me convient parfaitement, ou même être logé chez l'habitant contre un dédomagement me va aussi. Si quelqu'un d'entre vous connait des endroits sympas à visiter je suis preneur!!! Dans l'attente de pouvoir découvrir ce magnifique pays, Salut à tous

Bon, grosse envie d'un petit séjour de 4/5 jours du côté de Fez ou Meknes début novembre 2006... mais besoin de bons plans sympas et pas trop cher...

1°) A quel prix minimum peut-on envisager le vol Paris-Fez ou Paris-Casa à cette période (vacances scolaires françaises) ?...

2°) Fez ou Meknes ? qu'est-ce qui est le plus sympa/pratique en aussi peu de temps ? Les deux, c'est possibe ou illusoire ?...

3°) Vos coups de coeur ? Les visites qui, pour vous, semblent incontournables dans ces villes et la région ? (tjrs avec la contrainte du temps : 5 jours max. sur territoire marocain !)...

4°) On rêverait de dormir dans un riad... mais avec un budget raisonnable ! Connaissez-vous qqs bonnes adresses sur ces deux villes ?

Au maroc nous arriverons à NADOR, puis nous passerons par GUERCIF; MIDELT ; TINERHIR ;OUARZAZATE ;FOUM ZGUID ;TATA ;GUELMIN puis la route vers la MAURITANIE . Je suis a la recherche de points gps entre nador et guercif ainsi qu'entre ouarzazate et foum-zguid Je vous remercie d'avance

racket de la police marocaine au touriste francais en voiture sur marrakech et autre villes pour excés de vitesse soi-disant? il demander alors de l'argent est cela régulierement une bonne maniére de ce faire de l'argent facile scandaleux pour un pays qui veut faire venir 10 millions de touristes etrangers????.

Je compte partir une semaine au maroc avec mon mari en avril.

Je desirerai faire un trek de 3 jours (avec un guide), suivi d'un séjour au bord de mer.

Quels endroits me conseillez-vous ?

Comment puis-je organiser ce sejour ?

We arrive in the evening in Marrakesh, and a taxi arranged by our friendly Riad is waiting for us. The driver takes us to the door, where we’re briefly greeted by our hosts. The room is heated—phew—because it’s really cold on this January 17th for our arrival. Riad Alisma, where we’re staying for 2 nights. The next morning, it’s pouring rain when we wake up, but after a good breakfast, the rain has calmed down. Off we go to the medersa, which allows for a relatively sheltered visit. We’d visited this palace 15 years ago—it’s been renovated since then.





From there, without the rain, we wander aimlessly and eventually end up near the tanneries, but it’s Sunday, and there’s very little activity. Of course, we get hassled by a tout.

We part ways a bit annoyed. He gets a little revenge by giving us bad directions, and we end up outside the city walls. We decide to take a taxi to the new modern art museum—60 dirhams for the 5 km, which is nothing when you think about it. That tout, who we didn’t ask for anything and made it clear we weren’t buying anything, dragged us into a shop supposedly only open that day and demanded 50 dirhams for his "services"! Let’s forget that bad moment and enjoy the exhibition at the MACAL.



The taxi on the way back drops us off at Place des Ferblantiers, not far from our Riad. We’re a little peckish—it’s worth mentioning that at lunchtime, we only ate a plate of beans from a street vendor. So, we buy a bunch of little sweets, each more delicious than the last, at Ajar. We snack while sipping mint tea and watching life go by around us. A final visit to the Museum of Moroccan Cuisine on our way back helps us dodge a few more showers. Then it’s back to the Riad. The atmosphere in the city is heating up—it’s the AFCON final tonight. The temperatures, though? Not so much. We ordered a meal at the Riad, and it was a good call—not only was it really tasty, but the rain also picked up again. Our day in Marrakesh ends under the covers with a good book and some photo sorting. Still, we managed 10,750 steps. View of our Riad

Hi everyone, I’ve given my 18-year-old daughter a week in Morocco in February. I’d like to mix a bit of Marrakech (or elsewhere) with a hotel and pool, plus a trip into the desert with some beautiful dunes. How can I structure this without making the journeys too long? Is it possible to do Marrakech to the south in 2 days, stopping at lovely spots along the way? Just to clarify, I’d prefer not to rent a car, and my daughter isn’t very "adventurous." I'm urgently planning a trip to Tunisia in November, backpacker-style (no agency, no guide or taxi, public transport, youth hostels or small hotels, local restaurants). I'm not interested in the beach, and I like to take my time at archaeological sites and museums (twice as long as the average visitor). I'm aiming for about two weeks, give or take.

First, I'm trying to roughly outline a route/schedule so I can book my flight as soon as possible (no desert in the south this time—I went there years ago and want to stay independent). I’ve sketched out the following itinerary, knowing that apparently, there are quite a few towns without budget-friendly hotels (even on Airbnb), which means I’ll be staying longer where they’re available. Three questions: 1. Does this seem reasonable overall (time spent in each city)? 2. Should I add other cities, maybe in the northwest? 3. For hotels, in November, is it better to scout options on booking sites first, then book on the spot for cheaper rates (no site commission + possible negotiation)? Also, are hotels not listed online and found randomly on-site much cheaper?

ROUGH ITINERARY (order to be confirmed)

TUNIS 5 days (cheap accommodations: 13 or 19 €) 2 days: Medina, souks, Bardo Museum, Royal Mausoleum of Tourbet El Bey, Zitouna Mosque (exterior) 1 day: Sidi Bou Said 1 day: Carthage 1 day: A-R Dougga (bus to Tebersouk 2h + taxi) – pack a picnic + option: hike to Zaghouan (750m+, 10km round trip) – worth it? Doable alone?

KAIROUAN 2 days (very expensive room: 40-50 €!) Great Mosque, Medina, Three Doors Mosque, medieval cemetery, Sidi Sahbi Mosque...

SOUSSE 3 days (room 15 €) 2 days: Medina, archaeological museum, Port El Kantaoui, the Ribat (fortress), Contemporary Art Museum Dar Am Taïeb, Dar Essid (17th-century traditional house) 1 day: A-R El Jem (60km away) + option: 1 day A-R Monastir? Worth it? + option: 1 day A-R Mahdia (or 2 days sleeping there)?

OPTIONS -> Gabes to mix things up? But is it easy to find cheap lodging and get around/visit alone? -> Other sights or stops to sleep: Sfax, El Kef, others? -> Kerkenna Islands (easy accommodation?)

My wife and I are heading to Kenya for three weeks starting August 30th, and I’d love some help fine-tuning our itinerary and answering a few questions. Here’s the rough draft I’ve put together:

08/30: Nairobi (2 nights) 09/01-09/04: Masai Mara (3 nights, then return to Nairobi) 09/05-09/07: Rift Valley/Nakuru/Hell’s Gate/etc. (2 nights, then return to Nairobi) 09/08: Nairobi > Amboseli (2 nights) 09/10: Amboseli > Tsavo East (2 nights) 09/12: Tsavo > Mombasa (1 night) 09/13: Mombasa > Kilifi (2 nights) 09/15: Kilifi > Malindi > Lamu (3 nights) 09/18: Return to Nairobi 09/19: Departure at 23:40

I’ve got a ton of questions, but I’ll try to summarize them somewhat:

Do you have any recommendations for tour operators for the safaris? Right now, I’ve planned 11 days for the "safari" portion from Masai Mara to Tsavo, with a lot of returns to Nairobi—is it possible to optimize this without booking a full tour with a single agency? Aside from the cost, I’m worried I won’t feel very free if we do a 9-day experience covering all of it, but maybe that’s the most recommended option? Do all the destinations up to Mombasa require booking a tour and hiring a guide in advance (or having your own vehicle), or are some more open to improvisation? We’d also like to meet people and not just do safaris, but our current itinerary doesn’t really allow for that—would you recommend cutting back on safaris and visiting villages between Nairobi and the coast instead? We were also considering the Taita Hills if possible—what do you think? Is Kilifi a good idea? We’ve heard it’s more authentic than Diani and we’re interested in the bioluminescent plankton, but I feel like the detour complicates the trip a bit.

You can probably tell from my questions that our biggest concern right now is booking the safaris. We can’t really afford to spend 2000 € each for 4 days, but we also won’t be taking a trip like this again anytime soon, so we want to make the most of it!

I thought sharing my adventures in *al Maghrib* wouldn’t be very original. Today, this space feels quieter, so what if I tried to give it a little life back, modestly? With some help…

This trip will be different. From the start of my relationship with Richard, I was determined to introduce him to *my* Morocco. But he was a bit reluctant… He’ll tell you about our 2022 meeting, and I’ll illustrate it with my photos, just like we did with our India travel journal.
