Je projette de faire un voyage d'une semaine en Ouzbékistan.

Peut-on voyager en individuel (hors circuit organisé ; achat d'un vol sec et on se débrouille sur place ensuite) ?

Bonjour à tous, j'ai comme projet avec un membre de ma famille de faire un tour de l'Asie, durant une période de 6 à 8 mois. On a a peu près ciblé les pays et les points clés de notre voyage afin de commencer à préparer notre itinéraire :

MONGOLIE Quand en juillet, afin de pouvoir participer à la fête Nadaam. Durée 1 mois Lieux à voir Réserve de Khustain Nuruu Lac de Khövsgöl Nuur (la plupart des déplacements seront réalisés à cheval, avec un guide)

CHINE Quand août - septembre - octobre Durée 3 mois Lieux à voir Relief Danxia - province de Gansu Grande muraille de Chine - l'extrémité à Shanhaiguan La Plage rouge - province de Liaoning Cité Interdite - Beijing Buddha de Leshan - région du Mont Emei Zhangjiajie - province de Hunan

CAMBODGE Quand novembre Durée 1 mois Lieux à voir Temples d'Angkor Temple de Preah Vihear Parc national de Virachey

THAILANDE Quand décembre Durée 1 mois Lieux à voir Bangkok Kanchanaburi Phuket Plages de Ko Phi Phi et Ko Lantha

BIRMANIE (pas dans l'ordre) Quand janvier Durée 1 mois Lieux à voir Temples de Bagan - région de Magway Pagode Shwedagon - colline de Singuttara Mrauk U - état d'Arakan

D'après vous, cela parait réalisable au point de vue durée? Nous avons encore de la marge, mais c'est pour ne pas prévoir tout le voyage, en nous appuyant sur les endroits essentiels. Y'a t-il des lieux intéressants à voir sur notre route ? L'itinéraire parait bon ? (Je me suis appuyée sur les climats des pays, en évitant la saison des pluies, la plage rouge de Chine n'est rouge qu'en automne, etc). Nous partirons avec des sacs à dos et voyagerons avec tous les moyens de locomotion possible.

Bonjour, je désire partir de Montréal pour l'Asie (4 semaines) et acheter une pass Asie pour faire notamment les villes suivantes : Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Singapour, Bangkok. Quelle est la meilleure pass pour le prix? Merci!

J'adore l'Asie et je voudrais effectuer de nombreux voyages dans cette partie du monde. Ceci dit, tout n'est pas possible pour le moment et puis je ne m'y connais pas trop en organisation de voyages. C'est pour ça que je fais appel à vous^^

Dans les destinations qui m'interessent il y a :

* Le Japon (ce sera surement le premier) * La Chine * Le Nepal * La Mongolie * Le Tibet * Le Vietnam * Le Cambodge (* Le Bouthan) * ...

C'est maintenant que votre aide arrive😛 Si vous pouviez m'indiquer des sites bien fait qui m'indiqueraient tout ce qu'il faut savoir, des astuces pour vivre là-bas pdt genre un mois pour un prix sympa, ...( un peu comme sur : lejaponpourpasunrond^^) Enfin ce qui serait aussi interessant ce serait vos expériences^^

Bonjour tout le monde, je m'apelle Romain, j'ai 20ans. l'été prochain je voudrais rejoindre Lhassa sansutiliser l'avion, exclusivement en bus et en train, en 2 ou 3 mois. Avez vous des bons tuyaux concernant le deroulement de mon voyage, des infos concernant certaines etapes ? Aidez moi je voudrais savoir si ce projet est completement fou ou bien réalisable Je compte tout d'abord rejoindre Moscou avec les bus Eurolines, de Moscou descendre en train jusque la mer Caspienne et l'Asie centrale. Ensuite je voudrais traverser, sans trop m'y attarder, Le Turkmenistan, l'Ouzbekistan et le Tadjikistan grace aux bus effectuant les grandes liaisons (Ashkabad-Bouchara-Samarkand-Douchanbé)... Puis descendre sur le Pakistan pour rejoindre le Cachemire Indien (la frontiere est-elle desormais ouverte aux touristes ?). Je compte refaire Srinagar-Dehli en bus puis jusque Katmandu en train (trajet Cachemire-Nepal deja fait il y a 2ans). Puis Katmandu-Lhassa, pour ce trajet là je connais les formalités.

J'aimerais beaucoup discuter avec des personnes ayant deja fait ce voyage, ou des petits bouts de ce voyage (Moscou-Caspienne, l'Asie centrale ou le Cachemire) A mon avis les principaux problemes seront l'obtention de tous les visas. Je compte faire cela en maximum 3 mois, pensez vous que c'est assez ? Vais-je rencontrer des problemes à certaines frontieres ? Connaissez-vous quelques echelles de prix concernant les liaisons en train et bus que j'ai cité plus haut ? Pensez-vous qu'un budget de 3000 euros est suffisant pour ces 3 mois, sachant que je compte dormir dans les hotels les plus mitteux, les plus pourris donc les moins chers. (et surtout pas d'avion) Savez vous si certains visas ne sont decernés que sur invitation ou par agence de voyage ?

Avec ce voyage je réaliserais un rêve, je serais donc ravi de discuter avec des personnes pouvant m'aider... Amis voyageurs, Merci d'avance.

le visa chinois de 3 mois s'obtient il à hong kong si oui ou? ailleurs peut etre?

les visas mongols, russes, kazakstan en transit, et kirghysistan, peuvent ils s'obtenir en chine?

LA route entre le yunnan et le vietnam est elle eprouvante et en combien de tps peut on atteindre HANOI ?

You buy a SIM card and pop it into your phone. Okay, so far so good... 😏

But after that?

I can’t find the price of prepaid cards or how they work with MegaCom.

If someone could give me a step-by-step guide... 😊

I was lucky enough to spend two stays in Tajikistan between October and November 2025. I met Fayziddin, who’s a French-speaking guide and very knowledgeable—he really knows how to share his love for his country and his valley. He’ll welcome you to his village and, in the future, to a hostel that’s currently under construction. I can’t recommend him enough!

I’m a bit worried that the snowmelt might completely soak the track—or even that the snow might still be clinging to the mountainside near the pass...

By train across Kazakhstan, then using public transport in Kyrgyzstan (circling Lake Issyk-Kul) and Tajikistan, taking the northern route in the latter (from Khujand to Dushanbe). Hi there, After a long absence, I’m back on this forum where I used to post under the username NealMorse (mostly about off-the-beaten-path spots in the American West...).

I’m planning a trip to Uzbekistan—details still up in the air (8–10 days)—but I’d love to combine it with a stop in Kazakhstan at Mangystau (5–7 days).

One of my main reasons for traveling is to seek out and photograph deserts, especially dramatic landscapes. Mangystau fits the bill perfectly!

Has anyone here got any tips for this trip, especially how to connect the two countries? Thanks in advance

Hi there, After making good use of the tips on this site, I’m now adding my own contribution. We’ve just returned from 25 days exploring Mongolia. A trip that took us from the capital to the Gobi Desert, from the ancient capital Karakhorum to the Orkhon Valley, and also off the beaten path to places close to nature and nomadic life, all thanks to our guide Hacha. I’m used to traveling as a couple or solo, in "backpacker" mode, and I rarely—or only occasionally—hire a guide. But this time, I have to admit that choosing a guide-interpreter and a driver was an excellent idea. We set off as a group of four to share the costs. I’d spoken with Hacha, a Mongolian who used to work at the French Alliance, speaks perfect French, and has been organizing trips for over 25 years. Needless to say, she knows her job inside out and has built strong relationships with nomadic families over the years. Since she only works with small groups, she can steer clear of the main tourist spots. With her help, we were able to personalize our itinerary—and even adjust it as we went along. For example, we’d planned to attend the Naadam festival in a small town, but we found out there was another festival two days later that wasn’t on the schedule. So we tweaked our route to catch both, and we didn’t regret it. Anyway, if you’d like more details or Hacha’s contact info, feel free to reach out.

Hi there, For our upcoming trip to Central Asia starting on July 7th, we have two spots available in our car with a French-speaking driver. We’ll depart from Almaty in Kazakhstan, visiting the Charyn Canyon, then the Kolsay and Kayindy lakes. After crossing the border into Kyrgyzstan, our itinerary in this nomadic country includes Karakol, Djety Oguz, and the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul: Skazka Canyon, Barskoon Gorges... all the way to Lake Song-Kul, where we’ll take a rest day to enjoy the surroundings. We’ll return to Bishkek via Kyzyl-Oi and the Suusamyr Valley on July 16th. Two people can join us for this part of our journey from Almaty to Bishkek. DM us if you're interested. Best, Marie

I’m giving it another shot to share a trip I’ve planned for next July. My itinerary starts in Almaty, Kazakhstan, with hikes around Lake Kaindy and Lake Kolsay, then the Charyn Canyon. After crossing the border into Kyrgyzstan, we’ll head to the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul and finally to Lake Song Kul. There’ll be walks at Fairy Tale Canyon, Seven Bulls, and Barskoon Gorge...

After a flight from Bishkek to Tashkent, we’ll visit the cities of Uzbekistan: Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva.

Transport will be by car with a driver.

We’re a couple in our sixties and would love to share this trip with another couple or two solo travelers.
