Je prépare mon voyage au Panama et je pars seule avec ma mère .. nous avons respectivement 19 et 37 ans!! Donc nous sommes 2 jeunes femmes pleines de vie!! Ayant peur de nous ennuyer à notre hotel, nous allons descendre au Royal Decameron Costa blanca, nous voulons prévoir plusieurs excursions durant notre séjour. Nous nous sommes seulement décidé à aller voir les indiens Emberas. J'aimerais savoir si il y a d'autres excursions ds la jungle ou autre que vous avez fait et à ne pas manquer ! Car nous n, arrivons pas à nous décidé... Nous n'avons pas peur de grand chose alors n'hésité pas à tout nous proposer. En passant si il y en aurais entre vous qui aurais des photos du Decameron à part celle d'internet car on ne voit pas grand chose ce serait sympa merci xxxx

QUESTION:Est-il plus pratique d'emporter de l'argent liquide, des travellers chèques ..ou bien les deux...pour voyager au Canada? ............en plus des cartes bleues.

Les travellers sont-ils acceptés facilement?Peut-on payer avec?

Est-il vrai que les commerçants acceptent difficilement les coupures de 20 dollars canadiens et 50 dollars canadiens?

Je pars au Mexique en juillet pour un tour en voiture de loc. J'ai un peu du mal à estimer les distances. Sur le net j'ai vu qu'il fallait 7 heures pour Villahermosa / San Cristobal de las casas (alors qu'il n'y a que 300 km !!😮😕) ; idem pour Campeche / Villahermosa ; ou bien 4 heures pour faire San Cristobal / Palenque. Les durées me paraissent hallucinantes !! Quelques peut-il me donner des infos (confirmation ou pas ...)

Je sollicite votre aide: je pars ds l'ouest canadien, visiter Banff, Jasper, Wistler, Vancouver et son île, puis le Yukon. Le tout, pendant 3-4 semaines.

J'aurais besoin de gens qui ont fait ce trip et qui peuvent m'en parler: budget, transports, destinations, coups de coeur, conseils. Je pars en sac à dos, mais je ne sais pas trop si je suis mieux de faire du camping ou non. Qu'en pensez-vous?

Avec ma femme nous préparons un voyage (de noces😉) en amérique du sud. Pour l'instant notre destination est le Chilie🙂. Mais rien n'est fixe. On cherche une destination nous permettant de vivre deux temps distincts: un temps de relaxation sur des belles plages( brésil??) . Ma femme adore cela!😎! Mais également un temps de découverte de la culture locale et de balade en montagne ( niveau intermédiaire).

Nous ne connaissons guère ce coin du monde, c'st pourquoi j'espère avoir quelques informations utiles.

Je ne connais pas encore ce coin vraiment, je serais très reconnaissante si des gens pouvaient me donner leurs coups de coeur, des info sur le climat là-bas en juil-aout, la sécurité et les transports, etc. Et surtout, le budget! We're heading to South America with our converted truck, which is a light vehicle (3,500 kg limit) that we’re shipping by boat in October this year (2026). But after weighing it, we’re at 4,500 kg. Based on your experience, do you think we’ll get stopped in South America (Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina, Peru, Bolivia, and southern Brazil) because of this? Are there police checks for overweight vehicles? Has this happened to any of you?

I just got back from a trip to Bolivia and wow—what a wake-up call. It’s not the easiest country, but it’s absolutely stunning.

I started with Isla del Sol, perfect for easing into the altitude at a relaxed pace. Try to stay in the northern part of the island—it’s quieter and the views are insane. And the trout there? Unreal. Quick tip: bring cash in small bills; they almost never have change, and cards are rarely accepted.

Next up, La Paz. The city’s pretty wild, built in every direction. I did a few hikes in the area, including the famous Charquini Lagoon (the blue lake) at over 5,000 m—let’s just say I struggled 😅 but it was so beautiful it was totally worth it.

After that, I headed to Sajama. It’s cool, especially for the hot springs, and I stayed in Tomarapi. But honestly, if you’re short on time, you can skip it without too many regrets.

The highlight of the trip: the Salar. I did it starting from Tupiza, and I *highly* recommend going Tupiza → Uyuni. Way less crowded at the start and the landscapes are super varied. For the tour, I used SplitYourGuide to find a group, and it worked out great. Super handy for splitting costs and meeting people.

I wrapped up in Sucre—this city is gorgeous, all white, with such a chill vibe. And the salteñas + ice cream? Next level 😋

Bottom line: Bolivia’s a bit rough around the edges, sometimes exhausting (shoutout to the altitude), but it’s 1000% worth it.
