Bonjour, Nous partons pour la Cote Ouest en août prochain et j'ai pu remarqué que sur ce forum il y a des spécialistes de cette destination. Voici l'itinéraire que l'on a prévu sachant que les vols aller-retour sont déjà confirmés donc pas de changement possible J1 - arrivée LA début d'après-midi, on pense aller sur Santa Monica J2 - LA (Hollywood + studio universal) J3 - LA puis départ pour LAS VEGAS (visite de Calico + arret magasin usine Barstwon) J4 - LAS VEGAS -ZION J5 - Départ tot pour Bryce Canyon et dans l'après-midi départ pour Capitol Reef J6 - Capitol Reef puis départ pour Moab pour coucher de soleil à Arches J7 - MOAB (retour à Arche + raft l'après midi) J8 - MOAB - MONUMENT VALLEY J9 - MONUMENT VALLEY -LAKE POWELL J10 - LAKE POWELL (ballade en bateau à la journée) J11 - LAKE POWELL - GRAND CANYON J12 - LEVER DE SOLEIL AU GRAND CANYON puis départ pour LAS VEGAS J13 - Départ en avion de LAS VEGAS pour SAN FRANCISCO J14 à 16 SAN FRANCISCO

Cette notre première pensée tous peut être modifiés sauf l'arrivée à LA et le départ de SAN FRANCISCO. Nous voyageons 2 couples et nos enfants (8 personnes en tout) donc on veut des vacances pas trop speed. Nous voulons garder des moments de détente pour profiter des piscines dans les hôtels. Merci de me faire vos commentaires et de me donner vos infos ou tuyaux sur tous ces sites. Si vous avez visité des endroits que l'on ne trouve pas dans les guides, et qui vous ont semblé intéressants, n'hésitez pas à me donner vos infos, en disant cela je pense à "The Wave". Comment peut-on visiter ? par qui ? par ou ? Même mon agence ne connait pas. Nous nous sommes pas encore occupés des hôtels, si vous avez de bonnes adresses, je suis preneuse. Bonjour à tous, Je pars 1 mois début novembre en Afrique du sud avec ma femme mon fils de 2 ans et un ami. J’ai déjà réserve un camping car à Joburg et j’aimerais faire un voyage tourné vers la nature, animaux et paysages. J’aurais voulu savoir si le périple que je projette de faire est réalisable en 1 mois ? De joburg direction Le Kruger puis descente de toute la cote jusqu'à captown. Remontée sur la cote West, visite de la pointe du Kalahari et retour sur Joburg.

Pourriez-vous me conseiller les plus beaux sites sur cet itinéraire, en sachant que nous ne pourrons pas faire trop de marche ou de trekking avec notre bambin.

De plus, quel sont les conseilles que vous pourriez me donner sur le voyage en Camping car ?

I’ve read the forum a lot and found a wealth of information. I’ve tried to compile all of it into our itinerary and would love your feedback to finalize the bookings (we’re planning this *very* last-minute).

Here’s what we’re thinking of doing: 22 July: arrival in Johannesburg Night of 22–23: Johannesburg Nights of 23–26: Marloth Park (with Kruger visits on the 24th, 25th, and a crossing visit on the 26th) Nights of 26–28: Graskop (visiting the canyon and Panorama Road on the 27th and 28th) Nights of 28–30: Hoedspruit (visiting the central area of Kruger on the 29th?) Nights of 30 July–1 August: Balule Park (private reserve with safari) Nights of 1–5 August: flight from Hoedspruit to Cape Town, then 2 days in Cape Town, 1 day on the peninsula, and 2 days for wine (just the route) or something else based on your advice (we don’t know where to stay—whether to stay all 5 nights in Cape Town and where in the city, or do 2 nights in Cape Town and 3 nights nearby—but where?) Night of 5–6 August: Kelders for penguins and whales Nights of 6–8 August: Tsitsikamma (what is there to do/see?) Nights of 8–10 August: Addo Park on the 9th 10 August: flight from Port Elizabeth to Johannesburg and back home

Hi, I’m heading to Viti Levu, the main island, for a few days’ vacation. I usually rent a two-wheeler to keep some independence. On several forums, people advised against it—first because it’s not really the local culture, and also because of the road conditions and local driving habits. But I’m a bit wary of English-language forums where the typical vacation is just airport-resort-airport with a taxi in between. Can you confirm if it’s really that risky compared to, say, Southeast Asia? What are the alternatives? Buses, taxis? Thanks!

Hi everyone, our friend is a real Captain with experience—last time we rented in the Balearics and it was amazing. This year, we’d like to rent a sailboat for a week in May or September to sail around the Cyclades. I have a few questions, starting with the wind. 1/ Does it really blow very hard during these periods? Some crew members aren’t exactly seasoned sailors. 2/ Is it better to rent from Athens or one of the Cycladic islands from a cost and time-management perspective? Nous devrions -si tout va bien dans le monde...- passer 15 jours dans le Nord Maroc fin septembre. J'hésite entre location de voiture (plus libres) et transports en commun (plus local mais moins souple). Nos étapes seraient Tetouan, Chefchaouen, Fes, Meknes, Rabat et Tanger. La voiture offre la possibilité par exemple de descendre la côte est entre Tetouan et Chefchauouen via Akchour. De même, on pourrait se faire des stops le long de la côte est en remontant sur Tanger. Mais, mon mari n'est pas rassuré quant à la sécurité, l'état des routes et la fiabilité des loueurs...

D'où ma question : avez vous des loueurs à me recommander sur Tanger ? des conseils ou pièges à éviter ? Egalement, vaut il mieux "tourner" ds le sens horaire (Tanger, Tetouan, Chefchaouen, etc...) ou inverse (Tanger, Rabat, Meknes...) ?
