j'emmène ma mère âgée pour un séjour-souvenir à Alger et je suis très heureuse de partir et de découvrir la ville dans laquelle je suis née mais que je ne connais pas. Je dois dire que je suis inquiète au niveau de la sécurité d'autant plus que nous sommes juifs et que notre passport français présente un tampon israélien, suite à un séjour en Israel. Cela peut-il poser problème pour l'obtention du visa ou pour notre entrée à Alger ou encore pour notre séjour ? Peut-on passer inaperçu ? Pouvons-nous nous promener dans Alger seuls et sereins ? (A propos des vols, nous n'aurons sur nous rien d'apparent qui puisse tenter . ) On m'a dit qu'il est mieux d'être accompagné d'uns personne " de confiance" ! Qu'en pensez-vous ? si oui, puis-je la trouver par agence ? Et la Casbah ? ou peut-on trouver un guide pour la visite ? Ou existe-t-il une visite organisée ? Cette visite présente-t-elle plus de danger ? J'ai entendu dire qu'Alger est une ville surpeuplée et polluée... Peut-on s'y promener agréablement pendant une semaine ? Et le soir ? Faut-il rentrer dès la tombée de la nuit dans notre hotel ? ça fait un peu parano mais j'entends trop de choses !!

Arrivant prochainement à Alger pour une période de 14 mois, j'aimerai avoir quelques infos concernant les endroits sympas à voir, ou se promener, si c'est chaud d'aller dans certains endroits (je pense à la casbah ou a bab el oued)...

Egalement, les jolis coins pour passer un we a partir d'alger.

Bonjour, J'ai plein de questions... Je suis en train d'essayer de faire un petit programme pour mon voyage en Algerie et j'essaye de caler mes différentes visites avec les transports, mais j'ai un peu de difficultés à avoir des infos sur les transports intérieurs.

Quel est le prix des trajets en taxis pour des liaisons entre différentes villes distantes d'environ 150- 200km ?

1 - je pars d'alger, direction Ghardaia en avion. J'ai les horaires, mais aucune idée du prix. Quelqu'un sait combien ça coute ?

2 - je compte faire : Ghardaia - Ouargla - Touggourt - Biskra (en plusieurs jours, bien-sûr !). Je n'ai aucune info sur les liaisons en bus. Y a t-il des bus tous les jours ? Et quels sont les horaires (un par jour ou plusieurs par jour) ? Et quel est le coût approximatif ? Sinon, y a t-il souvent des départs en taxi collectif ? Et quel en serait le cout ?

3- Une fois à Biskra, je voudrais aller visiter Timgad qui est à 150-200km de distance. Mais je ne voudrais pas passer la nuit à Batna. Existe-t-il des excursions organisées à la journée depuis Biskra par une agence locale. Si oui, quelqu'un aurait ses coordonnées ? En fonction du temps qu'il me reste, soit je repars sur Alger en avion. Quelqu'un a une idée du prix ? Soit je vais à Bou Saada, puis Alger.

4- Biskra-Bou saada : Trajet en bus. Fréquence des trajets ? Tarifs ?

5- Bou Saada - Alger : Trajet en bus. Mais ça me parait très long, 400 km, je crois. Y-a-t-il une solution de trajet en train, quelle est la durée du trajet ? Je crains que ce soit encore plus long ! Et comme je n'ai pas envie de passer toute une journée dans les transports, je me demande si je ne vais pas zapper Bou Saada. J'ai très envie d'y aller, mais il me semble qu'il vaut mieux consacrer du temps à aller visiter Timgad qu'à aller visiter BouSaada. Ai-je raison ?

je pars dans plusieurs pays du monde arabe. J'ai entendu dire qu'il y a autant de langues arabes que de pays. je me demande ce qu'il est plus utile d'apprendre et si je pourrais être comprise et comprendre quelque soit le pays (je vais en Egypte, SYrie et Jordanie).

Bonjour à tous ! :) après plusieurs voyages en Amérique du sud, Europe, Asie ... J'ai décider au mois d'août de me rendre en algerie (1 mois) afin de découvrir ce pays! En effet ma mère et mes grand parents sont pied noir et j'ai toujours entendu parler de l'Algérie à la maison comme d'un pays magnifique ... J'ai toujours eu beaucoup d'appréhension de doutes et de craintes à voyager labas... Mais aujourd'hui je me sens prête! Je suis à la fois très exite et angoisse ... Mais cela me tiens vraiment à cœur , car au fond ce sont un peu mes racines ! Ma cousine devrait me rejoindre deux semaines, je serais donc seule le reste du temps... Avez des conseils à me donner bon apart tenue bien évidemment ( correcte), des endroit à me conseiller? Je désire surtout aller à Oran et visiter misserghin ( lieu de naissance de ma mère) merci pour tout vos conseils....

Bonjours tous le monde! Alors voila je projette un voyage dans le sahara et m'interressant particulierement aux modes de vie nomades, je voudrais accompagner une caravane de touaregs. Les formules tours opérateurs ne correspondent pas vraiment a l'idée que je me fait du voyage, je ne passerais donc pas par elles. J'ai déjà un peu voyagé mais j'avoue connaitre très peu (trop peu!!) le Sahara. Connaissez vous des touaregs qui accepteraient parmi eux une française pour environ un mois?

Dans mon voyage au tour de la méditerranée, je recherche des personnes qui peuvent me recevoir soit chez elles, soit accepter que je puisse installer ma petite tente dans leur jardin uniquement pour une nuit.

Hello everyone! Who wants to join me for 3 weeks in French Polynesia in September 2027? I’m passionate about snorkeling and dreaming of lagoons, especially swimming with whales (that’s why I’m going in September). I already have a rough idea of which islands to visit and explore—we’ll just need to fine-tune it, of course. I’m not super keen on long hikes, but I do enjoy a good stroll. A few visits here and there, discovering local customs, crafts, songs, and dances, etc... Accommodation with locals or in cozy guesthouses—no overwater hotels or fancy restaurants. The famous *roulottes* (food trucks) will do the trick, or eating with locals depending on where we stay. Small, typical restaurants are great too. Renting a car or scooter if necessary (the catch is I’ve never ridden a scooter before… not helpful, lol). We’ll plan the trip together to make sure it aligns with our dreams and desires. This is a once-in-a-lifetime journey, and I’m excited to share it, exchange ideas and impressions, and just enjoy it all in harmony, with conviviality and respect. But I’m struggling with the car rental agencies in Calama because the reviews can be scary. I saw Gyg, which has great ratings, but I’m a bit wary (5/5 from 59 reviews—either the guy’s amazing or it’s fake...), but I can’t find any recent reviews on VF in general. I’m looking for a beach spot within 3 hours max of Bangkok for the end of my trip (January). I know full well I won’t find that postcard-perfect vibe of the more remote islands! But I don’t have a choice. If you’ve got any ideas... no high-rises, obviously not Pattaya, somewhere quiet, swimming possible, a hotel right on the beach (and not too dirty, the beach itself!) I’ve looked at hotels around Ko Samet or, across from it, on the mainland. I spotted the Bann Pae Cabana. But nothing really exciting on either side. New ideas welcome! 🙂

hi everyone, I’m planning to go skiing at Les Saisies from December 20 to 27 (I checked, it’s snowy in December and the prices are pretty reasonable). If there are 2 or 3 of us, we can split the rental costs (I’ve been looking at studio/apartment rentals on Le Bon Coin since yesterday, they’re around 75 € per day, so about 580 € for the week, which we can split depending on how many of us there are). For transport, we can carpool if possible, otherwise everyone can get there however they prefer. Personally, the train works for me—I checked, it’s a TGV from Paris to Albertville, then a frequent bus to the resort. If you’re interested, send me a PM and let’s plan to meet up in Paris as soon as possible to choose, book, and pay for the accommodation together. Since the dates are coming up soon, I’d like to finalize the booking ASAP!

Andalusia in all its glory—that’s what I’m offering to a companion who’d love to share every morning of the days to come with me... From Cartagena to Lagos (Portugal), roughly speaking, if I had to sum up my desires. More precisely, 5 to 7 days in each of these towns: Cartagena – Carchuna – Córdoba – Seville – Huelva – Lagos. Having been there twice and visited part of the region, I already have a good idea of what’s interesting or spectacular.

Knowing about the Moors’ historical presence isn’t essential, but it helps understand certain architectural features.

When? Departure between February 20th and 25th, 2026. Why this time? We’ll escape the gloom, rain, and chill that will have settled over France (I’m speaking for my region). Plus, no matter where you go, there’ll be very few tourists at this time, so queues are much shorter, and accommodation rates are at their "low season" prices! (We also gain about an hour of daylight at this latitude.) I’ve already done some research (tedious but necessary...) on 5 towns (Cartagena – Carchuna – Córdoba – Seville – Huelva) plus Lagos (Portugal) regarding accommodation—open to discussion to agree on which to choose.

Of course, I know what to see and do in each area. Up for debate...

Budget? I’d rather discuss that in person. For my part, I’m financially comfortable.

Temperatures: around 16°C during the day in Cartagena, about 18°C in Seville, and around 18°C in Huelva (maybe 1 or 2°C warmer), with very little rain!

Vehicle? A reliable, well-maintained Citroën van. It can carry 2 bikes so we can explore some stunning regional natural parks. Plus, we’ll visit some massive cities—I’m especially thinking of Seville! The driver? Very cautious.

My advantage? I speak the language well. It’s pretty much a must, otherwise, you’re guaranteed to feel down after 2 days (laugh).

Lunch: picnics more for the joy of being outdoors than to save money. Dinner at local restaurants or fondas.

Preference for a companion living within a 2-hour drive of Castres (81), to make meet-ups easier as we "get to know each other" and finalize plans. Exception: if you live within 25 km of La Roche-sur-Yon—I’m considering moving there.

I was in Delhi for work and decided to leave my suitcase there so I could enjoy the rest of my vacation in Southeast Asia. However, my flight from Bangkok to Delhi, scheduled for tomorrow (Sunday, October 5th), was rescheduled, and I’ll miss my connection to Paris. When I looked at flights, I realized that the Bangkok-Paris flight costs half as much as the new Bangkok-Delhi flight (with a different airline).

So here’s my question (a shot in the dark): Is anyone traveling between Delhi and Paris in the next few days? Would it be possible to pick up my suitcase in Delhi’s hold (I’ll pay the extra fee) and bring it to Paris?

I thought about having it shipped, but I need it fairly quickly, and I don’t trust the delivery times. Plus, the costs are outrageous.

I’m currently traveling—we left Tadoussac this morning and are in Rimouski for 2 nights. We’re then heading down the Bas-Saint-Laurent and will be in Montreal on Tuesday. We fly back to Belgium on Friday.

I left 7 sweaters/T-shirts in Tadoussac 😕. Would anyone happen to be going there this weekend and then heading back to Montreal? To pick them up and meet me somewhere?

Retired, I’d like to spend about 3 weeks to a month in southern Morocco by motorcycle in October. I ride a BMW R1250R, so no off-roading—it’s not a trail bike, I stick to the roads. Departure from the south of Les Landes, crossing Spain, ferry from Algeciras to Tangier, then following the coast and heading south. I have a tent and all the gear for camping and bivouacs, plus a few hotels here and there. Anyone interested in joining for part or all of the road trip? Let’s discuss!
