Ma douce et moi-même pensons aller faire un tour en Chine pour trois semaines au mois de septembre.

nous pensons prendre un aller paris pekin et un retour Hong kong paris.

Le reste devrait se faire en train. Mais plus je lit mon guide et plus j'ai l'impression que la CHine n'est pas forcémment bon marché.

Quant est-il du tarif des billets de trains.

Savez-vous combien coute un aller pekin Shangaï (sur le total, mais si l'on s'arretera entre temps) avec couchette..

je cherche quelques pistes pour un voyage d'un peu plus d'un moi en chine. Mon projet est encore grossier merci de m'aider à l'affiner en répondant à quelques questions:

1. est-il possible d'obtenir un visa de 5/6semaines

2. connaissez vous une solution économique (vol) pour arriver à pekin et repartir du sud ( hongkong ou mieux le hunan ) a/r en 5/6 semaines.

3 . est-ce possible d'effectuer la descente par bus ou train en papillonnant par les grands lieux à visiter sans trop spider.Pouvez-vous me conseiller un circuit qui allie ce que l'on doit voir(les musts guide bleu) et aussi des sentiers de traverses dans la nature naturelle et la chine chinoise où je pourrais me perdre un peu.

D'abord, faut-il un visa pour la Chine? Quels papiers doit-on fournir pour l'obtenir? Faut-il une invitation de chinois?

Le trajet. J'ai repéré un billet depuis Paris pour Pekin avec Aeroflot à moins de 600 euros. C'est pas mal mais après comment rallier Urumtchi? Avion (nom de la compagnie)? Train? Quel écart de prix entre les deux?

Avez vous un guide à me conseiller pour préparer le voyage? Routard? Lonely Planet? Let's go?...

Quel est le coup de la vie en Chine? Prix d'un hotel bas de gamme à Pekin? à Urumtchi? Prix d'un repas dans un zéro étoile? Prix d'une course en taxi en ville?

j'aimerais partir en chine 3 ou 4 mois et pour le moment je ne suis sure de rien quant aux endroits ou prolonger son visa...certains me disent a hong kong et d'autres me disent que dans toutes les provinces chinoises c'est également bon..du style a pekin, ou chengdu, 2 lieux ou nous passerons lorsque nous y serons... peut etre est ce plus cher dans les provinces mais se rendre a hong kong fait un detour lorsqu'on doit remonter dans l'ouest de la chine..

si quelqu'un a des infos concernant ceci..merci tatami tu m'as deja donne pas mal d'infos a ce sujet. mais si je peux eviter de me rendre a hong kong ...ce ne serait pas plus mal !

je prends toutes vos idées et ...peut etre y en a til qui ont fait les demarches avant moi a pekin ou chengdu et qui pourraient me donner quelques adresses !!!😉

Bonjour, A défaut de savoir où me rendre en Amérique du sud au mois d'août, je compte aller en Chine à la même période. Pouvez vous m'en dire davantage, dois-je craindre que mon voyage soit quelque peu gaché par la météo? Mon circuit est le suivant: Pékin-Pingyao-Xian-Shanghai-Suzhou-Guilin-Canton-Hong Kong! Salut, je vais partir fin août pour l'asie avec un pote.

Notre itinéraire sera le suivant: arrivée à Shanghai, puis remontée à Pekin pour prendre le transmongolien jusqu'à Oulan bator (kk1 connait la fréquence et les dates?) puis redescente sur Pékin pour le départ. Nous resterons un mois en tout. J'aurais besoin de conseils de personnes qui connaissent ces pays pour visiter les endroit les plus intéressants.

Bon, voici une question pratico-pratique : etant en Chine de mi avril à mi aoùt je souhaitais dans quel sens visiter ce beau pays... Beijing - Kasgar -Shangaï ou Beijing - Shangaï - Kasgar... Seul impératif, j'arrive en train à Pékin... Après...Quid de l'itinéraire. Merci aux grenouilles expérimentées et autres voyageurs météorologues de leurs conseils et de leur aide.

bonjour je part en mongolie cette été pour 2 ou 3mois avec 2 autre personne On compte acheter ou louer des chevaux (il faut qu'on se renseignement, ) pour visiter une partie du pays. Pour venir en mongolie on va passer par la chine (avion de lyon a Pékin) arriver a Pékin on souhaite prendre le transmongole mais on ne sait pas combien ça cout et si il y a bcp de train qui "circule" Si quelqu'un a des info dessu elles seront les bien venu. Ou alors prendre l'avion de lyon a moscou et prendre le transsibérien (aucune info dessu) si ca vaut plus le coup au niveau tarifs

J'aurai d'autre question :au niv de comment faire chauffer des aliment (gaz ou feu??), si on peut louer ou acheter des chevaux sur 2 mois et leur materiel (selle, materiel pr les chevaux de ba...), si il existe des interprete mongol / francais ou anglais pour etre plus proche des nomades et mongols ??, si les prise electrique existe et sont les mm quand france pour recharger les batteries de video ??

voyant que vous etes nombreux a avoir été en Chine, j'aimerais obtenir quelques renseignements qui j'espère m'apporterons des réponses et surtout qui me serviront sur place.

1/ connaissez des hotels pas trop chère a Pékin, Xi'an, Suzhou et enfin Shangai la fin de notre voyage

2/ quels type de monnaie on doit utiliser sur place, le Yuan, le dollars US ou l'Euro

3/ le déplacement entre chaque ville visitée est-il et quel en moyenne la durée du trajet et le prix du billet pour 1 personne

4/ faut il amener des médicaments spécifique lorsqu'on voyage en Chine

Pour l'été prochain nous avons le projet de nous rendre en Mongolie pour un raid à cheval. Nous souhaiterions effectuer l'aller en avion et le retour via le Transsibérien.

Qui peut nous dire s'il est préférable de passer par Moscou ou Pékin pour rejoindre Oulan Bator, quels sont les tarifs approximatifs et quels prestataires français seraient en mesure de nous délivrer ces billets.

je compte passer au tibet ds qques mois, en individuel, de pekin a new delhi. et je ne veux utiliser le moins possible des agences. Bien evidemment je voudrai passer par la terre! ....arriver en avion a Lhassa diminue fortement l'interet du voyage!

je suis en train de me renseigner, et il semble que le tourisme individuel soit enfin autorisé au tibet. l'ambassade de chine a Paris m'explique que j'ai besoin d'un visa individuel delivré par le bureau des affaires etrangeres de la T.A.R à Lhassa

je voudrais savoir si ce visa peut m'etre delivré à l'entrée au tibet?, ou a Lhassa?, voire a Pekin?

est-il possible de passer outre? ou est-ce que je vais me faire refoulé ilico a la frontiere de la T.A.R? ou bien jeté au cachot dés le premier controle de police sans mon autorisation?

et si qqu'un avait l'adresse exacte du bureau a lhassa....? vu qu'ils ne la donnent pas a l'ambassade chinoise de Paris!!

The flight is with Air China, with a few hours’ layover in Beijing each time (I plan to stay inside the airport).

I’ve reread the conditions several times, but since I’m never entirely sure, I’d love your input.

For arrival in Hong Kong, crossing the Hong Kong–China land border (via Shenzhen), and the return flight from Chongqing?

We’re thinking of spending 3 weeks in Asia this fall to visit some of the major capitals on this vast continent. We’d like to get a (very rough) sense of just how fast Asia is moving compared to what we see in the West (we’re from Quebec). For now, our very preliminary list includes Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Singapore. There are obviously plenty of other options—Seoul, Shanghai, etc.

I’d love to get some feedback on our 30-day / 29-night itinerary in China. We’ll be there in September as a family with two kids (6 and 10 years old). Do you think I should cut a few nights between Wulingyuan (Avatar Mountain) and Yangshuo? I’ve planned 15 nights total there. We’ll be on a round-the-world trip starting May 2026 and will need to do schoolwork with the kids. Hoping to fit it in during train rides!! Ever since I started planning this China itinerary, I’ve been discovering completely mind-blowing places I’d never heard of before—30 days feels way too short for China!!!

We’re traveling independently using local transport—this will be our third trip to China since the 15-day visa exemption and our first since the 30-day visa exemption in 2025. I really, really want to go back to China, but since the country is evolving at lightning speed, I’m wondering. I went there nearly 20 years ago. It was already undergoing a lot of changes, slowly but surely, but I still have wonderful memories of the country, which I found so endearing at the time. I visited Beijing, Sichuan, Guangxi, Hainan, and also Tibet by train, then Xinjiang. Now, we’re mainly considering Gansu and Hunan.

It was still possible to get 60-day visas back then, which isn’t the case anymore since they’re now limited to 30 days. But at the same time, the country seems more accessible. Many hotels are open to foreign tourists, sophisticated transport options have developed everywhere, and it’s possible to visit for up to 15 days without a visa... Tourists can easily travel by train or plane, but to reach places "off the beaten path," it seems you need to rent a vehicle with a driver. There used to be plenty of day-trip group tours, but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore.

It’s hard to find info on whether certain routes are feasible for independent travel.

From what I’ve gathered here and there, "high tech" has taken over the entire country, the countryside has given way to imposing buildings, cities are increasingly industrialized and polluted—basically, the country has become dehumanized... In short, are there still beautiful places left—dare I say preserved—to see?

Add to this the bad reputation, not always justified, that China suffers from. It seems like the country is being boycotted by travel agencies, as if it’s not "politically correct" to visit. Maybe I’m exaggerating, but I’ve noticed this with French agencies like Nomade, Allibert, etc., which used to offer a wide range of itineraries everywhere, especially in Yunnan. Now, they’ve limited themselves to the classics: Beijing, Xi’an, Shanghai, water towns, or Tibet. Yunnan, Gansu, Qinghai, and many other Chinese provinces are no longer on the menu. Maybe it’s due to COVID...

The destination isn’t exactly a hit on forums either...

So, is it still worth going in 2025? I’d love to hear from those who’ve been there recently. Looking forward to exchanging thoughts on this fascinating destination (from my point of view, of course).

I’m supposed to be going on a university exchange in Shanghai from February to June 2025, and I’d love to return to Europe afterward via the Trans-Mongolian Railway. My plan was to fly from China to Mongolia’s capital and maybe spend 3-4 days exploring the country. Then, I could take the train, with a stop in Irkutsk before heading to Moscow for a two-day visit, followed by two days in Saint Petersburg. After that, I’d take a bus to Tallinn and possibly fly home from there due to time constraints. I was thinking this whole trip would take about two weeks. This site: Russian Train Tickets - Online Booking for Russian Train Tickets seems useful for buying tickets (though the ones that go through Mongolia need to be booked via a form or on tutu.travel), and this one for the bus from Russia to Estonia: St. Petersburg - Tallinn buses and tickets.

From what I’ve gathered, Russia now offers an e-visa, and Mongolia has suspended visas for Europeans until the end of next year.

Would anyone have any info or advice? Given the current situation in Russia, everything is pretty complicated to research, and most of the information is outdated.

Des voyageurs ont-ils pu profité du visa 144h, en arrivant de Mongolie par train ou par bus vers PEKING?. Je recompile des infos, pour voir si c est possible (et même préférable) d´avoir ce visa, sans risquer de se voir refuser l´entrée en Chine au poste frontiére Mongolie/Chine. Si oui, de Peking, ce visa est valable pour aller dans la zone de la Muraille proche de PEKING. Merci d´avance.
