2020-02-02 Notice on Transport Capacity Adjustments to Air China Routes from Mainland China to
Singapore and Other Countries

According to the policies of the governments of the destination countries, Air China will adjust the operation of some flight routes. Air China will actively seek to guarantee the subsequent passenger ticket services. We apologize for the resulting impact on your travel plans.
I. Flight Adjustment Plan
1.For routes from mainland China to
Singapore: the daily
Beijing–
Singapore flights CA969/970 will remain unchanged and the flight CA775/776 on February 2, 2020 will remain unchanged; all other flights on the
Beijing–
Singapore route and all flights on the
Chengdu–
Singapore route will be canceled from February 2, 2020 to February 29, 2020.
2.For routes from mainland China to
Vietnam: all flights on the following four routes will be canceled from February 2, 2020 to March 28, 2020:
Beijing–
Ho Chi Minh City,
Beijing–
Hanoi,
Hangzhou–
Nha Trang, and
Chongqing–
Nha Trang. The
Ho Chi Minh City–
Beijing flight on March 29, 2020 will also be canceled.
3.For routes from mainland China to
Australia: all flights on the
Chengdu–
Sydney route will be canceled from February 3, 2020 to March 28, 2020; all flights on the
Beijing–
Sydney and
Beijing–
Melbourne routes will be canceled from February 5, 2020 to February 29, 2020.
II. Eligible Passenger Tickets
Any tickets that contain unused segments on any canceled flights mentioned above with a ticket number beginning with 999 (including mileage award tickets).
III. Ticket Handling Rules
1. Free refund
Any eligible tickets as defined above can be refunded through the original booking channels within the validity period of the ticket and no cancellation processing fees will be charged.
2. Itinerary alteration
The itinerary of the above-mentioned tickets cannot be altered. It is recommended that passengers apply for a full refund and book new tickets.
3. Flight alteration
Any tickets for the canceled flights mentioned above can be altered, within the ticket validity period, to another flight before June 30, 2020 (inclusive). No alteration processing fee, subclass price difference or seasonal price difference will be charged. For alterations to flights after July 1, 2020 (inclusive), no alteration processing fee will be charged, but subclass price difference and seasonal price difference will be charged.
The above free refund and free alteration rules only apply to the first refund or alteration request. For subsequent requests, the ticket's conditions of use apply.
In view of the frequent flights adjustment recently, Air China will post updates according to the policies of different countries. We kindly ask the passengers to keep a watch on the flight updates and refer to the latest update for information. Passengers can search for flights information through the Air China website, the Air China app, the Air China service hotline 95583 or ticket agents.
