Nous souhaiterions etre vers Calgary ou Vancouver... plutôt à la campagne ou encore mieux à la montagne.
Mon copain a 31 ans est chauffeur routier, et moi j'ai 25 ans et je suis dans le secrétariat (dont 3 ans en agence immo)
Mais nous pouvons bosser dans autre chose sans probleme
Pensez-vous que l'on puisse s'informer à distance ??? Y'a t'il du boulot en ce moment dans ce pays ??

Si vous préférez la montagne, oubliez Calgary, c'est plus plat qu'une table. Quoique les montagnes ne sont pas trop éloignées. Vancouver est mieux pour les montagnes.
Je pense que vous allez avoir de la difficulté à vous trouver du boulot dans ce coin si vous ne maitrisez pas l'anglais.

Par contre mon homme ne le parle pas effectivement..
Pensez-vous qu'il y ai des régions où ils sont moins "exigeants" sur la langue anglaise ???
Calgary est moins nature comme ville, mais les montagnes ne sont pas loin effectivement.
Vancouver est plus nature, mais attention, cette ville est hors de prix! Les loyers y sont très chers! Calgary aussi d'ailleurs.
D'ailleurs, pourquoi ne retenez vous que ces 2 villes en particuliers?
Si vous souhaitez travailler, ne pas faire l'autruche: le Canada (en dehors du Québec et du Nouveau-Brunswick) est un pays anglophone, les gens parlent en anglais et tout se passe en anglais, comme aux États-Unis. Donc vous aurez besoin d'avoir une bonne connaissance de la langue pour trouver du boulot correct, surtout en cette période de difficultés économiques. Si Monsieur ne maîtrise pas cette langue, il est temps de commencer des cours pour améliorer son niveau.
Le boulot est plus limité à Vancouver, un peu plus abondant à Calgary. Les chauffeurs sont presque toujours en demande, mais informez vous des permis à obtenir s'il y a lieu. Les chauffeurs font de la route au Canada et aux États-Unis, il faut donc être capable de discuter en anglais. Pour le secrétariat, et bien partout on recherche toujours de bonnes secrétaires, expérimentées, bilingues. Tout dépendra comment tu sauras te vendre en entrevue.
La recherche d'emploi se fait beaucoup mieux sur place, peut-être que le Programme Vacances-Travail Canada vous conviendra en premier lieu, mais ce n'est valide qu'un 1 an.
À savoir: le filet social est plus mince qu'en France (admissibilité prestations d'assurance-emploi, etc.).

Comme Nikky dit si bien, on vit en anglais ici dans l'ouest Canadien.
Nous trouvons quelques amis francophone, des écoles pour nos enfants et des associations francophone pour se sentir un peu en famille, mais c'est tout. Le quotidien est parfaitement anglophone, alors il faut avoir une base pour pouvoir se débrouiller, vivre et surtout travailler.
Plus vous vous éloignez de Vancouver, plus c'est abordable. Si vous aimez la vie en campagne, en montagne, je vous suggererais la ville de Chilliwack. Un très belle ville à un heure de Vancouver. Dans une vallée entourée de montagne. La vie est BEAUCOUP moins dispendieuse et c'est tout aussi magnifique... sinon plus.
Pour de l'aide sur place et dans votre langue, je vous réfère à Éducacentre. Orientation scolaire, professionnelle, emploi, carrière, immigration, etc...

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area.
