Voilà, je vous explique ma situation...
Je devais partir à la RD pour Pâques avec deux copines. Ce matin, j'ai reçu un appel de l'une de mes amies pour m'informer que notre compagnie d'aviation avait fermé ses portes( Vacances Maestro), donc plus de voyage ... à un mois d'avis. Donc pour nous c'est la case départ. Je peux vous dire que je suis assez découragé et très triste. Il y a beaucoup de chose à faire concernant les cartes de crédit et on est un peu laissé à nous même avec ce problème. De plus, comme je ne suis pas toute seule dans cette situation plusieurs personnes ont déjà réservés d'autre voyage. donc le choix est plus minime. Ce que j'aimerais avoir comme information est la suivante. Comme je n'ai plus de destination, pouvez-vous me conseiller sur une destination, un choix d'hôtel. Nous avions un 5 étoiles (Grand bahia principe mais il est trop dispendieux maintenant. 1900$ c'est un peu en haut de mes moyens. Mes amies et moi nous aimerions ne pas dépassé 1500$. Alors que pouvons-nous avoir pour ce prix. Je dois vous dire que nous sommes des personnes qui aime bien faire du tourisme. De la plage aussi mais pas seulment ça. Un mélange de moitié-moitié. J'aimerais bien dansé aussi dans les boites ...si c'est possible mais n'est pas un critère. Ce qui m'inquiète un peu ce sont les hotels.... C'est mon premier voyage alors je suis un peu nerveuse. Nous aimerions bien partir de Québec si c'est possible. Nous devons rencontré notre agente de voyage cette après-midi alors j'aurai aimé avoir des infos sur des hotels de 4 étoiles et plus. Moi, je te conseille Cuba si tu veux une belle plage pour pas trop cher. Varadeo n'est pas ma destination préférée mais si tu veux faire des visites et être assez près de la petite ville, c'est l'endroit idéal. Tu peux visiter le site voyage à rabais: tu pourras alors voir ce qui est offer pour tes dates. Tu peux ensuite faire appel à ton agent de voyage et négocier un peu. Je comprends tellement ta déception: vas-tu être remboursée au moins?
Ce qui me fait un peu peur c'est de prendre un voyage à longue distance. Mettons que je réserve avec voyage à rabais, j'ai l'impression d'avoir personne qui s'occupe de moi. Avec une agence, notre agente fait des recherche pour nous. Je suis aller directement sur le site de tour-mont-royal et il y des voyages disponible pour cuba et rd. Ce que je ne comprend pas c'est comment cela se fait-il que notre agende de voyage n'a pas grand chose à nous offrir. elle a fait une demande au même hotel ou nous avions réservé avant mais nous allons avoir des nouvelle d'ici 3 jours seulment et nous ne sommes pas sur d'avoir une chambre car à l'hôtel le système a gélé...ça non plus je ne comprend pas...Disons que je suis découragé. C, est la course contre la montre!

Avait tu des restrictions pour le type d'hotel? Veut tu toujours un hotel a Punta Cana?? Est tu flexible dans tes dates et veut tu absolument qqchose de Quebec?

Je part le 6 avril pour le Grand paradise a Punta cana pour 1267$.
Ce que je fais c'est que je regarde les prix sur le site voyage a rabais et lorsque je trouve qlq chose j'appelle mon agent de voyage et elle m'arrange cela. Tout comme toi, cela me rassure d'avoir un agent de voyage.
J'ai bien aimé l'animation au Ocean cana a Punta cana.
Les gars du spectacles viennent chercher les femmes pour danser. C'était comme cela en novembre 2005, je ne sais pas si cela a changé.
Ma prochaine destination a l'hiver prochain sera la Jamaique.
En espérant que tout ce regle rapidement. Tu sais que l'on paye 0, 3.5% sur le forfait justement pour assurer ce genre de probleme dont tu fais face.

At all-inclusive resorts, base salaries are extremely low for 10- to 12-hour workdays. Tips aren’t just a little extra—they often make up half of these families’ income.
Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.
The package covers the hotel, but our tips help support the people who make our vacations magical. Don’t forget to budget for this in cash when you pack!

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Do you know of any nice, budget-friendly hotels with activities in Mexico? Or Zanzibar is also an option for me, same idea.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). I’m not necessarily aiming for the cheapest resort, but since it’s spring break week and everything’s already pricier, 5-star options are probably out of the question. Thanks!

We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

The first is the Etosha National Park site: https://etoshanationalpark.co.za
You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.
Bonjour j ai effectué des reservations d hebergement sur l amerique du sud par l intermediaire de Booking en fevrier dernier pour novembre 2020 . A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
