BONJOUR, je suis un étudiant francais et je voudrais, après mon bac litteraire, aller faire mes études universitaire aux USA et, plus particulierement, en Californie et y vivre .
Je m'y prend 1 an l'avance pour etre sur de pouvoir tout organiser, je voudrais savoir si les universitées Americaines ( université de sport, de psycologie ou de publicité ) prennent leur élèves sur dossier ou si le TOEFL uniquement suffit pour integrer le système d'études Americain?
Je voudrais effectuer la totalité de mes études aux usa ( depart directement après mon BAC ) et ensuite m'y instaler, je voudrais savoir si vous avez des adresses d'universitées proche de la Californie ou du Nevada ou il est possible d'étudier en psycologie OU en métier du sport OU en journalisme/communication avec un niveau d'étude moyen, ni exellent, ni mauvais ??
Si vous avez des adresses ou des renseignements pouvez vous m'en faire part s'il vous plait car c'est très important pour moi .

Renseigne toi d' abord aupres du ministere de l' education. Les universites de Californie et du Nevada ne prennent pas n' importe qui et il faut un top niveau pour y acceder (tu n' es pas le seul a vouloir y rentrer). Il est generalement plus facile d' etre accepter par une faculte en dehors des sentiers battus tels que dans le MidWest ou le Sud.
Il faut bien sur un visa etudiant. A regarder sur le site de l' ambassade.

Ca depend des universites mais en general il faut avoir un bon niveau pour etre accepte et surtout ne pas avoir l'intention de rester aux USA apres les etudes pour obtenir le visa etudiant. Attention car les etudes sont tres cheres aux USA!
Les sites universitaires, dans la section "international student" vont t'informer sur leur criteres d'entrees pour les etudiants internationaux. La plupart des universites offrent des cours d'anglais, programme intensifs ou programme preparatoires au TOEFL. C'est la maniere pour des etudiants etrangers dont l'anglais est une langue seconde d'acceder a des programmes anglophone.
Il est aussi beaucoup plu facile est moins couteux d'entrer dans un college qu'une universite. La plupart des college offrent des programmes "college transfer". En gros tu fais les deux premieres annes de ton programme dans un college (pour la moitie du cout) et les 2 derniere dans une universite.
Tu dois aussi savoir qu'une etape importante pour une demande de VISA etudiant est l'entrevue a l'ambassade. Dans quel but une entrevue??? Les douaniers veulent s'assurer 1- Que tu as l'argent necessaire pour toute la duree de tes etudes (preuves a l'appuis)
2- Que tu n'as AUCUNE intention de demeurer aux pays apres tes etudes. Tu dois prouver que tu as de fortes attaches avec ton pays d'origine, prouver que tes etudes aux Etats-Unis vont t'aider dans ton projet de carriere en FRANCE et qu'aucune ecole Francaise ne t'offre ce que tu viens chercher dans X ecole americaine.
Pour des adresse d'universite ou college : tape : university california ou college california sur google.com tu vas avoir tout ce qu'il te faut!!

Les processus d'immigrations sont tres compliques et si tu desires immigrer aux USA, il faut obtenir des visas specifique et non un visa etudiant.
Le message de Elsie est tres bien detaille et te donne une idee des demarches et conditions pour etudier aux USA.
Un college aux USA n'est pas du tout la meme chose qu'en France. C'est une sorte de fac mais moins cher, donc oui bien sur qu'on peut y rentrer apres 18 ans.

Mariage avec un citoyen americain qui te sponsorise pour obtenir la carte verte. Ce n'est pas certain de l'obtenir car il faut des conditions mais c'est le moyen le plus efficace. On peut egalement etre sponsorise par ses enfants ou parents si ils sont citoyens americains. Le parrainage peut etre fait par une personne possedant la carte verte, mais ca n'aboutit pas forcement et c'est tres long.
Ensuite il y a la Lottery mais j'ai entendu dire que ca ne va plus durer tres longtemps (du moins que pour participer il faudra avoir un niveau d'etude tres haut et apporter un benefice au pays). Pour obtenir la carte verte suite a la Lottery il faut egalement remplir des conditions.
Puis il y a la possibilite d'etre sponsorise par une entreprise americaine apres avoir obtenu un visa de travail. Cette facon d'optenir la carte verte peut etre longue et les conditions sont tres difficiles a remplir. Ce sont des postes a tres haut niveaux (proprietaires d'entreprises US, chercheurs...) et pour pouvoir deposer un dossier de demande, l'employeur doit prouver que seul la personne peut occuper ce poste et qu'aucun americain ne peut le faire. Bref, c'est tres difficile mais c'est possible aussi.

Une fois tes étude terminées, tu pourrais toujours faire un stage (intership) aux États-Unis, avec un visa J-1, mais il te faudra faire les procédures à l'extérieur du pays seulement. Mais au moins, tu auras une meilleure connaissance du marché américain, tu connaîtras les employeurs susceptibles de te prendre comme stagiaire, etc.
Le visa J-1 est valide pour un max de 18 mois. Une expérience de travail aux États-Unis te sera éventuellement utile si tu veux immigrer car le système d'immigration américain va bientôt changer (système de points comme au Canada).

Bonjour à tous, ceci est mon premier message mais j'aimerais votre aide, avoir des informations sur quelque chose qui me tient à coeur.
En fait, j'ai 15 ans, bientôt 16, et je termine ma quatrième et avant dernière année du secondaire. Par contre, j'ai toujours été très attiré envers des études aux États-Unis, particulièrement en Californie, et j'aimerais savoir si c'était possible pour moi de faire, par exemple, ma dernière année (mon secondaire 5) dans une école là-bas.
Je ne connais pas les programmes s'il y en a. J'ai un très bon anglais et je ne voudrais pas aller là-bas juste pour un voyage linguistique, je voudrais vraiment terminer mes études. Je ne sais vraiment pas comment m'y prendre, mais je sais que plus le temps passe, et plus mes chances de vivre cela avant la fin de mes études sont minces. J'aurais vraiment besoin de votre aide, alors n'hésitez pas à me renseigner, ou me conseiller, ou tout ce que vous voulez.
