Je voudrai partir 1an (voir +) en tant que fille au pair à NY. - Est il possible de choisir la ville où on veut partir ? - Est il possible de partir sans organisation ? - Si non, est on obligé d'avoir le niveau BAC ? Sinon je voudrai partir avec ma meilleure amie et chercher du travail là bas. - Est il facile de trouver du travail, un appart' .. ? Si quelqunpouvait me renseigner ca serait cool ! Merci d'avance 🙂

Alor moi j'ai exactement le meme projet j'aimerais resider aux etats unis pour un moment(6 mois environs voir plus si cela me plait ) a Boston plus précisément mais j'aimerais travailler pour bien pouvoir profiter des etats-unis sachant que je vivrais chez une amie a moi qui veut bien me loger mais je ne pourais pas la laisser tout payer oute seul. Enfin j'aimerais savoir s'il est difficile de trouver du travail pour essayer de vivre comme eux, s'intégrer, les découvrir et puis aussi apprendre la langue qui a mon retour poura etre un + dans mon CV sachant que j'ai un niveau scolaire ...
Je me suis renseigné et apparament si on réside o moins 6moi la bas il est possible de passer son permis et il est valide en france si on est majeur sa peut etre interessant vu que c beaucoup plus facile et economique de l'obtenir la ba plutot qu"en france...

Apparament pour travailler la bas il faut un visa special qui est difficile à obtenir et pour trouver du boulot pas facile à moin d'etre dans une branche d'activité speciale (ce qui n'est pas mon cas)
Si ca interresse j'ai trouvé une organisation qui ne demande pas forcement d'avoir un niveau bac pour partir en tant que fille au pair, elle a l'air a l'ecoute des filles au pair (on peut refusé certaine famille et choisir la ville oùon veut aller) :

Au niveau des permis je sais juste que le permis francais est valable la bas pour les touristes, par contre si on y va pour vivre il faut faire une sorte de remise a niveau.

Si tu pars plus de 3 mois, l'immigration américaine te demande forcément un visa, et pour avoir un visa il faut que quelqu'un aux USA (université, entreprise qui te prend en stage ou qui t'emploie) te sponsorise et signe un document (le DS 2019). Les Américains ne voulant pas que des étrangers prennent le boulot d'autres Américains, ils sont super relous sur l'immigration... Tout ça pour dire que si tu veux partir aux USA et trouver un boulot sur place, oublie ! Ca sera difficilement possible et surtout, si tu te fais choper, tu risques 10 ans d'interdiction de territoire... Par contre, si tu trouves un sponsor sur place, ça devient relativement simple : tu as un RDV à prendre à l'Ambassade et un dossier à constituer, puis tu obtiens le droit de rentrer sur le territoire américain de manière légale. (Mais attention, ton visa aura une date d'expiration, la green card c'est pas encore pour maintenant !)

Pour être au pair aux USA il te faut un visa J-1, et pour cela il faut passer par un organisme. Il en existe plusieurs. Ma fille est partie avec CALVIN THOMAS, mais il y a aussi STS comme tu l'as indiqué, APIA.....

Il te faut le BAC ou une équivalence et en général le permis de conduire. Tu passeras un entretien en anglais et des tests psychologiques. Pour le niveau d'anglais, il faut savoir se débrouiller.
Si ton dossier est accepté, l’organisme te demande les références de 3 familles où tu as gardé des enfants.
Tu sera payée 176$ la semaine (montant fixé par le gouvernement américain). Tu travailleras 45 heures maxi par semaine, et tu auras 2 semaines de congés payés pendant ton année.
Tu auras un visa pour une durée d'1 an, mais tu pourras prolonger ton séjour d'un mois, le 13ème mois, pour voyager aux USA. Ton année d'au pair peut être prolongée de 2 périodes de 6 mois, donc 2 ans au total.
Pour le choix des familles. Ce n'est pas toi qui choisis, mais c'est la famille. Dès que ton dossier est accepté il est mis sur internet, et c'est les familles qui te contactent. Donc en principe tu ne peux pas choisir la région. Mais tu as toujours la possibilité de refuser une famille...... Mais si aucune famille de New York te contacte….. Tu ne peux pas non plus refuser toutes les familles qui te contactent....

My name is Deborah, I’m French. I’m married and have two children. I’m a clinical psychologist specializing in psychotraumatology, and I’m also pursuing medical studies.
For some time now, I’ve been seriously considering moving to the United States. My long-term goal is to practice medicine in the U.S., with a particular interest in forensic pathology. I know the journey is demanding (USMLE, residency, fellowship, etc.), but I’m ready to commit to several years of hard work.

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
Are there any special requirements before leaving France (aside from taxes...)?

Hi, I’m a self-employed physiotherapist in France, and as my wife (a nurse) and I look into working abroad in about two years, I’ve been offered an equivalence to become a respiratory physiotherapist in Switzerland. Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area. Anyway, that’s not the main point—could anyone explain the pros and cons of doing this job in Switzerland? Based on the paperwork I’ve received, the equivalence seems purely administrative or almost... What about working conditions, quality of life, salaries, etc.?
