Je suis étudiant en seconde année d'école supérieure de commerce et je dois faire des voeux de destination pour l'an prochain. J'attends de se séjour un choc culturel, une bonne formation scolaire et travailler mon anglais pour perfectionner et devenir totalement bilingue toutefois j'aimerais obtenir de plus ample information sur la vie sur place par exemple :
- Le logement même si une chambre universitaire m'est proposé il est vrai que j'aimerais savoir si je peux trouver un appartement à louer pour la durée de l'année scolaire car je me vois mal vivre en colocation avec une personne que je ne connais pas à la base et prendre le risque d'aller la bas pour ne pas s'entendre avec son colloc ne m'interesse pas. Connaissez vous les prix dans ces différents pays pour un studio ou un appartement F2.
- Deuxième point je me pose la question du niveau de vie sur place ! Concrétement plein de préjugé laisse pensé que pays de l'est = peu cher mais j'aimerais avoir votre avis sur le sujet car j'ai conscience que Tallin par exemple est une capitale il faut donc ce méfier des préjugés est j'en appele donc à votre expérience pour me dire combien je peux prévoir comme budget pour vivre sur place? En sortant et vivant comme nous le faisons ici c'est à dire pour ma part sans exces : 1 sortie semaine en pub, quelques repas dehors dans le mois (fast food ou resto), course quotidienne et transport.
- Vis à vis d'un de mes objectifs je me dois aussi de me poser la question si la ville parle Anglais par exemple l'école nous a déjà communiqué que des villes comme Saint Pétersbourg ne le parle que très peu et n'ayant aucune base en Russe même si cette destination aurais pu m'interesser je me suis contraint à l'oublier.

Je voyage souvent en Estonie et je passe toujours trois à quatre jours à Tallinn à chaque fois. Question prix des logements, je ne pourrai pas t'aider car je vais soit à l'hôtel, soit je suis logée. Mais il existe un système de chambre universitaire, de qualité, assez peu cher. En t'y prenant à l'avance tu dois pouvoir y trouver un logement.
Question niveau de vie, par contre, bien qu'étant plus cher que le reste de l'Estonie, Tallinn reste très abordable. Il te suffit d'éviter la vieille ville (encore que, là ausi, il y a pléthore d'endroits pour bien manger et très peu cher). Tu peux manger au restaurant pour 5 €, voir moins.
Un ticket de cinéma coute 65 kroons en moyenne, soit 4€.
Dans les bars, la pinte coute entre 30 et 40 kroons, soit 2, 5€.
Le bus ou le tram coute 13 kroon soit 0, 80 €. Cela doit être moins cher en carnet ou avec un abonnement.
Les courses alimentaires restent très peu chères comparées à chez nous. Tout dépend de ton caddy mais je dirais, 30% à 50% moins cher que chez nous.
En tant qu'étudiant, tu dois pouvoir avoir des prix sur tous les tarifs que je t'ai annoncé, il te suffit d'avoir une carte d'étudiant. De plus, avec la crise, les prix ont baissé. La tendance s'était amorcée début 2009, elle ne s'est pas inversée.

Pas tout le monde loin de là. Et puis, l'anglais pratiqué n'est pas toujours très correct en terme de syntaxe. Tout dépend de tes objectifs mais si tu souhaites réellement maitriser l'anglais et parfaire ta grammaire, rien ne vaut une destination plus locale (Angleterre, Irlande etc ou Canada, Etats Unis)

Les citées U, en Estonie, proposent toutes (ou presque) un service hôtelier au sein de la même résidence. Il est possible donc de louer pour un prix plus élevé, des chambres à la journée ou au mois. Cela reste moins cher qu'une chambre d'hôtel et c'est plus souple qu'une location.

Cet été 2009 je suis déjà parti durant 2 mois en Angleterre à Londres je parle donc un bon anglais il est vrai que je pourrais partir et j'hésite à le faire pour South Bank à London mais la les frais ne sont pas du tout les mêmes et l'expérience non plus. Je vois ce départ à l'étranger comme une opportunité retourner à Londres (ville qui m'as émerveillé) ne rempli pas un de mes objectif : celui du choc culturel. L'ayant déjà vécu j'aimerais vivre une expérience apart.
