Sans grande originalité, je dirai que séduite par la calédonie, j'ai décidé de m'y installer et mon arrivée est prévue le 1er mars !
Je suis juriste en cabinet d'avocats depuis 4 ans et j'aurais voulu connaître les chances de trouver un poste sur nouméa en cabinet, entreprise ou autre? avez-vous une idée de la rémunération d'un juriste ? quelqu'un peut il d'ores et déjà me conseiller chez qui postuler ?

Je suis plutôt orientée vers le droit privé: droit civil, droit de la famille, droit commercial et droit social notamment. J'ai une expérience de 4 ans en cabinet d'affaires donc connaissance de la procédure civile principalement.
Je suis bien évidemment ouverte à toutes les pistes de recherches, diversifier ses connaissances est toujours enrichissant.

alors pour reprendre la précision de Jen, en effet il faut d'abord savoir qu'il y a sur le caillou deux droits qui s'appliquent ou peuvent s'appliquer :
- le droit coutumier, à l'origine oral, dans le domaine civil et familial, dont il existe quelques transcriptions écrites. Celles-ci étant récentes, son abord n'est pas des plus aisés. C'est au contact des gens qui la connaissent qu'on apprend le plus son contenu !
- en parallèle, il y a des domaines juridiques de compétences étatiques (législation française), gouvernementales (loi de pays) et territoriales (provinces et municipalités).
du coup, il faut se détacher des acquis métropolitains sinon il y a de quoi faire de sacrées erreurs !! la logique juridique est la même mais le contenu des règles et dispositifs est bien différent.
travaillant dans le social, il a fallu dans ma pratique que je me détache de mes acquis et réflexes de métropolitaine et que je reprenne tout à zéro. c'est très intéressant, c'est ce que je recherchais mais ça n'est pas toujours très confortable !

Il semble qu'en Calédonie, exercent aussi des conseillers juridiques, organisés en cabinet, ayant les mêmes missions que les avocats.
peut-être peux-tu en contacter un pour avoir des infos ?
enfin, il y a un tissu associatif (pour ce que je connais à Nouméa) qui recrute des juristes (association pour les femmes victimes de violences, association d'aide aux victimes, etc). par contre, je ne sais pas si des postes doivent se libérer prochainement. mais bon, qui ne tente rien n'a rien !!
il y a également des juristes en entreprise et dans les administrations (Haut Commissariat, Province, Gouvernement notamment).

My name is Deborah, I’m French. I’m married and have two children. I’m a clinical psychologist specializing in psychotraumatology, and I’m also pursuing medical studies.
For some time now, I’ve been seriously considering moving to the United States. My long-term goal is to practice medicine in the U.S., with a particular interest in forensic pathology. I know the journey is demanding (USMLE, residency, fellowship, etc.), but I’m ready to commit to several years of hard work.

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Hi, I’m a self-employed physiotherapist in France, and as my wife (a nurse) and I look into working abroad in about two years, I’ve been offered an equivalence to become a respiratory physiotherapist in Switzerland. Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area. Anyway, that’s not the main point—could anyone explain the pros and cons of doing this job in Switzerland? Based on the paperwork I’ve received, the equivalence seems purely administrative or almost... What about working conditions, quality of life, salaries, etc.?
