Mon reve depuis toujours est d'aller aux états unis!
Je me suis renseigner pour pouvoir partir 1 an dans un pays afin d'y apprendre la langue en travaillant et visitant en meme temps. Et je suis tomber sur le Passeport Vacances Travail qui marche dans plusieurs pays notamment en australie, mais pas aux USA.
Un peu résignée, je me suis laissée guider par tous les gens qui me disent que c'est beaucoup plus facile d'aller en australie pour travailler et visiter en meme temps car il y a le WHV, et on m'a dis aussi que c'est plus facile de trouver des petits boulots, les gens sont plus sympas, etc, ect... !!! et que t'iras aux états unis plus tard !
C'est vrai, c'est assez simple, en gros faut avoir - e 30 ans, pas d'enfants ni de crédits et 3000 € sur son compte!
Mais je ne suis pas autant emballée par l'idée qu'au début car moi c'est les états unis que je veux faire !!!! pas l'australie!
Alors je me demande si quelqu'un aurait eu le meme projet que moi et l'aurait fait pour me dire comment il faut que je fasse.
Mon copain me suivrait, donc on serait 2 a vouloir partir pour apprendre la langue et surtout découvrir et visiter ce merveilleux pays qui me fascine tant !
Arrivée par exemple a new york, bosser 1 mois, partir dans une autre ville, travailler jusqu'a ce qu'on puisse aller voir plus loin ...
Je sais qu'en australie qu'on peut le faire, vous aller tout de meme pas me dire que dans le pays de tout les reve c'est pas possible!

sinon, tu ne peux pas rester aux USA pendant 1 ans sans visa de travail, visa d'etudes ou visa de tourisme (visa tourisme valable 6 mois et renouvellable une fois).
sans visa de travail, tu ne peux pas travailler legalement aux US (1 semaine par ci par la, sans visa, c'est illegal).
si tu ne veux pas 't'embeter' avec la paprasserie: venir aux USA pendant 3 mois (juste avec le passeport) et faire du tourisme.
sinon, ce que te conseillent les gens pour l'Australie est un bon compromis!

oui mais si je viens meme que 3 mois avec le passeport, jai besoins de travailler, je ne peux pas me permettre de me prendre 3 mois de vacances!
Les sous ca part vite, si je fais rien pour en gagner, je vais pas aller loin... Surtout qu'il faudra me trouver un logement, et les visites et tout et tout!
3 mois en touriste, tu ne peux pas travailler! c'est comme ca...
apres si tu veux venir aux US, et travailler pendant 1 an, il te faut obtenir un visa de travail!
fouille le forum et surtout le site de l'ambassade pour obtenir des infos sur les visas de travail
et oui ce n'est pas simple de venir aux USA plus de 3 mois...

Je viens de lire ton message et je m'empresse de t'informer un peu sur les lois aux Etats unis. Moi, je vis a New York depuis plus de 4ans, je viens de finir mon master et je travaille actuellement. Le probleme principal deja est que aux etats unis, si tu n'as pas un visa travailleur, il est difficile de trouver du boulot et surtout maintenant avec la crise economique. Il y'a quelques annes encore, c'etait tres facile de trouver meme des boulots remuneres cash, mais la c'est de plus en plus dur. Maintenant, l'autre option est de venir en se faisant embaucher par une boite ici deja, ce qui t'aiderait a avoir des revenus et de profiter de tes wkend pr voyager et c'est plutot tres facile de bouger entre les villes ici avec les avions. 3eme option, c'est ce que j'ai vu de nombreuses jeunes filles francaises faire, c'est faire de la garde d'enfant et la je crois qu'il y'a beaucoup d'organismes en france qui le proposent. Ainsi, tu as une famille d'accueil dont tu gardes les enfants, tu as tes wkends et des vacances ou tu peux voyage et egalement tu es nourri avec eux. Je pense personnellement que c'est l'ideal. Maintenant, si tu veux plus d'infos par rapport a cela, je peux toujours me renseigner un peu plus.
A part cela, New York est agreable a vivre pr un temps, mais le sud des Etats unis est merveilleux et tres beau.

Si j'étais seule, je ferais fille au pair, mais la, on part a deux, avec mon copain, donc je peux pas faire ca malheureusement.
Je ne me vois pas partir sans lui, c'est un projet qu'on a a 2, ca fait 7 ans qu'on est ensemble, et on en a toujours parlé!
Donc c'est vrai qu'il faudrait trouvé du travail sur place, mais c'est quasiment impossible de trouver d'ici, il n'y a pas d'annonce et je ne parle pas couramment anglais meme si je me débrouille, et celui de mon copain est déplorable!
Connais-tu un site d'offres d'emplois sur New York ou meme d'autres villes!
Tu fais quoi toi la ba? et tu as fait quoi comme master? (juste par simple curiosité)
quelles etudes a tu faites (ou ton copain); tu peux regarder du cote du visa stage ou jeune professionel en fonction de tes etudes ou experiences pro.

tu pwux regarder sur le site craiglist.com et tu cherches les jobs a new york, mais tout est en anglais. Moi, j'ai fais un master en comptabilite et je travaille actuellement en tant que comptable.
Si vs allez effectuer le voyage a 2, alors, il faut faire votre budget en connaissance de cause et peut etre reduire la duree de votre sejour.

et ce site de petites annonces pour jobs, concerne plutot ceux qui ont une greencard ou une autorisation de travail...
malheureusement tu ne trouveras pas des annonces avec le visa de travail propose

Pourquoi veux-tu absolument aller aux USA ? Tu tiens a aller quelque part en particulier?
Vu qu'il est difficile d'y travailler legalement sans bien maitriser l'anglais, faire un PVT en Australie, en Nouvelle-Zelande ou au Canada est une bonne option si vous etes 2. Si tu fais ton PVT au Canada et que tu es prete a faire des petits boulots, tu peux tres bien bosser un temps et puis aller te faire un petit voyage aux states. Je connais un couple de pvtistes qui ont fait ca, ils ont travaille pendant plusieurs mois a Vancouver puis ont achete un van et sont partis 3-4 mois se faire un roadtrip aux USA. Ils sont repartis en France en ayant connu le Canada, les USA et en ayant ameliore leur anglais.
Le Canada est tres accueillant et sur la cote pacifique, le climat est tempere, pas d hiver ou il faut affronter la neige pendant plusieurs mois! Vu que la crise touche aussi le Canada, je te conseillerai de venir avec quelques economies, car trouver un petit boulot prend plus de temps q avant.

Je suis desole, je n'ai pas vraiment beaucoup de connaissances dans le domaine. Je travaille pour la meme boite depuis 4ans et j'ai en fait change de poste quelques mois avant la fin de ma formation contre tenu de l'empleur que prenait les activites du groupe. Mais avec la crise economique en ce moment, c'est assez difficile de trouver du boulot. Eventuellement, si tu as d'autres contacts, tu peux leur demander aussi. Bonne chance et du courage

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area.
