Alors voilà je vous expose mon problème alors:
Je voudrais partir au USA(comme dit dans le titre🙂) mais le hic sais que j'aimerais ne pas passer par une organisation aupair...
Je voudrais directement prendre contacte avec les familles et m'arranger avec eu.
Vous allez me dire pourquoi ne pas passer pas une association je vais vous répondre sais que je souhaite partir et me prendre en charge et aussi faute de moyen pour payer les frais de dossier... J'aide quoi me payer le billet plus de l'argent de poche.
Donc si vous avez des site des conseil... Comment faire je suis preneur merci de votre aide
Mais pour être au pair légalement aux Etats Unis, il faut un visa J1, et pour obtenir le visa J1 il faut obligatoirement passer par un organisme officiel.
Si tu recherches ta famille toi même, tu ne pourras partir qu'avec un visa de tourisme de 90 jours, avec interdiction de travailler. Ce sera donc du travail au noir, avec tous les risques que cela comporte.
Et au bout des 90 jours, tu seras obligée de rentrer en France, si tu ne veux pas rester illégalement sur le territoir américain.
D'autre part, sur ces sites tu trouves de tout, du meilleur au pire.... Et tu fais quoi, si ça se passe mal avec la famille ? Ou si tu tombes sur un détraqué ?
Mais sur ces sites tu as aussi des familles sérieuses qui cherchent des au pair, et qui les renvoient vers un organisme officiel.
C'est vrai que tu as quelque frais si tu pars avec un organisme officiel : Calvin Thomas, STS, APIA....
Mais la famille te paye le billet d'avion, 195$ par semaine, tu as 2 semaines de congé payé. Et si ça se passe mal, tu as un responsable sur place qui s'occupera de toi.

Les règles sont les mêmes pour être au pair, mais tous les organismes ne prennent pas des garçons. Il y a STS.
Mais va sur le forum, même si tu y trouveras plus d'histoires de nanas que d'histoires de mecs, mais il y a tout de même quelques garçons sur le forum (Sylvain entre autre).

Mais pour 2 ou 3 semaines, tu auras beaucoup de mal à trouver. Tu ne trouveras pas de famille qui te paye le billet d'avion pour une si courte période.
Mais tu peux essayer de regarder pour l'été prochain, en tant que "summer au pair", là c'est en général pour 2-3 mois, pour la durée des vacances scolaires. Mais pour ça, il faut attendre le début de l'année prochaine, c'est trop tôt pour le moment.

Si tu recherches ta famille toi-même, il faut que vous discutiez de tout (qui paye le billet d'avion, tes horaires, combien d'heures tu dois travailler par semaine, combien tu seras payé, quel sera ton travail....).

Peut-être deviez-vous en effet vous renseigner un tout petit peu sur ce que signifie être "au pair" dans une famille... Parce que j'ai la très nette impression que vous confondez entre travailler "au pair" dans un famille (oui c'est un travail... et vous ne trouverez jamais un famille qui vous acceptera pour 2-3 semaines) et une "famille d'accueil" qui elle est susceptible de vous accueillir pour quelques semaines dans le cadre - le plus souvent - de cours ou de formation que vous pourriez suivre au USA (ou ailleurs d'ailleurs) et qui alors vous considérera comme l'un des enfants de la famille.
Et puis d'ailleurs puisque vous vous êtes inscit sur le site que vous citez, ile ne serait pas inutile d'ne profiter pour lire leurs explications et la FAQ qui vous donnera des réponses à toutes vos questions, à commencer par la première d'entre-elles... la définition du "au pair" :
En échange du vivre et du couvert, d'une chambre privée et d'argent de poche , la fille au pair s'occupe de vos enfants et vous aide dans le ménage en faisant des travaux faciles y compris de passer l'aspirateur, d'épousseter, de mettre la table et de vider le lave-vaisselle. Normalement, la fille au pair prend en charge les frais pour le vol et pour un cours de langue.
Mais ces organismes sont payants... car je m'y suis inscrits.
Le problème avec ces sites c'est que tu trouves, mais tu ne pourras pas communiquer avec la famille tant que tu ne payes pas.

ça fait des années que je fréquente ce gene de site, je les connais bien.
Bien sur que tu ne peux pas voir leurs informations, MAIS tu dois les ajouter à tes favoris, et s'ils aiment ton profil et qu'ils ont payé, ils t'enverront un email !
Après, à toi de voir si tu veux payer. :)

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
